perhaps you should apply that to yourself. You seem not to not understand the difference between everyday gossip and role-playing. Go open a book and read instead of patrolling and propagating your uneducated non-sense. Better yet, learn to become a conscious observer instead of spewing your own inner little world that goes 'la la la la la i can't hear you la la la la i don't care about you, I'm going to pervert the meaning of words la la la la'
Thank you so much for making my point for me. Pretending to be some sort of caretaker for an entire community, and then excluding people who don't conform to your own specific brand or type of RP of is about as pretentious as lashing out at someone for daring to stand up for groups you insult simply because they don't qualify for your subjective notion of "good RP".
Its that very sort of elitism and "I know better and am better than you because I do things my way" sort of thinking that gives anyone who has the courage to wear an RP tag a bad name.
And again you go off on your own little tangent without understanding what is going on.
As I said, if you want talking-points and oorp, make your own thread for people that that do oorp. Good bye.
Interesting, so you're not refusing to list fleets because they don't RP enough, or the "right way" for you, while claiming to maintain a list of all fleets who RP?
well if its a casual fleet, then that means you don't role-play. There are already way too many fleets that play o.o.r.p.. The list I'm creating is for role-playing fleets only.
Casual means oorp. This isn't a thread about oorp talk in-game, it's about role-playing.
If you want to make a thread about fleets that oorp, go right ahead. This isn't the place to do it. My tongue has grown hair from repeating the same thing over and over.
I'm looking for an RP fleet that is accepting low level players ( I'm Lt.7) and will accept the fact I have some obligations to a guild in guild wars 2. I've played quite a few of the free to play mmos, and this is the first that has kept my interest. (as I said though, I do have some obligations to a GW2 guild.)
I am familiar with RPing on forum and such,.. I am just asking how you you technically RP ingame? Isn't it difficult to type and move about.. using emotions etc live?
Of course, if you don't have qualms about using a microphone, that's an infinitely better way of doing it. But considering that amateurs - that is, if you are NOT an actor in real life - are usually embarrassed by their own voice..
The major stumbling block I've run into with using voice is the player's voice not matching up with the character. You are RP-ing with a female Vulcan, whose player speaks with a deep male New Jersey accent... it kinda throws off immersion. Not to mention once you hear a player's voice, that's what you hear in your head for every character they play from then on, regardless of voice chat or not.
I am given missions, go there, and find out it is for a fleet (Launch Fleet Action Queue). It sure would be nice if these missions would tell me in the description before going there /rolls eyes.
I only started about a week ago. It seems leveling in this game is maybe too easy as I am commander 28.
I would have preferred to start from the ground up, not being thrown into a ready-made fleet with all the amenities already there, but my guildmates from other game(s) all seem stuck on their one game.

I think, maybe, you are in the wrong thread. This thread is about role-playing fleets, not missions.
For changes to the game you need to go into one of the discussion threads.
Im currently looking to get into RP Fleet im newish to the game and picking things up as i go on. im active when not at work would be gret to hear from some fleets
If anyone is making a Romulan faction only RP Fleet (allied to either FED or KDF, but limited to Romulan ships), kindly drop me a PM here on the forums.

I was thinking that the fleet focus on the mol'Rihan embassy first for RP purposes before aiming to level a starbase.

We absolutely do our RP in game. We incorporate forum RP in the form of memos, AARs, mission briefings, etc.

Could have fooled me.

I'm a member of UST. Good group of people. We're at the brink of a tier 4 Starbase and have a tier 2 Embassy.

I do play other games so I am back and forth.
