#1 People whining about stupid stuff.
Nerf this, nerf that! Waaah Waaah Waaah. Mommy my builds not as good as his nerf it!

#2 Not being able to play the game.
Crashing when changing instances or zones.
Waiting on others dealing with the game having crashed on them.
This new glitch, since the alteration to the launcher, where it just sits there with a pop-up window that reads LOADING.

#3 Feds. That is all. ;)

1st : Too high dilithium costs everywhere.

2nd : People whining about Op this, Op that, I can't beat that in PVP, and my build is super-awesome.
Let us wear Swimsuits on Foundry maps or bridges please! I would pay zen for that.

AFKers and leeches in STFs and FAs.

Lack of new endgame content (that doesn't "challenge" players with semi-random one hit deaths).

    Reputation timegate click hell grind.

Enormous dilithium costs all over the place, from doff upgrinder to space gear to starbase projects.

Ridiculous numbers of doffs needed for starbase projects.

Nonsensical handling of Romulan boff traits.

    Hairstyle/eyebrow anomalies during beamout.

Ah you see but thats the point different ships require different boffs and and different consoles equipped so by design things change my beam boat doesn't need CSV.

and this is the issue without the slots saving to a file I can load with different configs changing ships is just pure annoyance.

Each of my toons has three ships. To cater for this each toon usually has about 10-12 BOffs. I assign the relevant BOffs to each ship and place the abilities on the tray for each. If I go to ESD and change my ship it automatically places the correct BOffs where I placed them and puts their abilities on the tray where I placed them.

The only way that this system can fal down is if you're re-training a BOff each time you change ship. As soon as you retrain a BOff with a new ability that ability is taken from the tray. That makes sense, however, as you can't ask a system to remember something that has been replaced.

Nope, this doesn't work when you cycle more than one ship in a list for for example, if I go to my D'Kyr then back to my Breen it's fine, but if I go D'Kyr, Breen, Nova then back to D'Kyr the D'kyr slots will be ruined.

I just checked this and my layouts are now ruined, especially the tactical slots, even though the boffs stay in position now their powers still fall off the tray if you cycle through too many ships. being able to save the layout for sure would solve this.

Thanks for TRIBBLE up my trays by making me test this

On the plus side thats the only reason I've had to log back into the game :p

It's not even close to impossible. You just have to put the time and effort into the character creation/modification.

    This is quite a list,

    1) People who are NOT Star Trek Fans but general "gamers" (Worst of all, they have no understanding of ships or the universe outside the game and seem to think that Starfleet is some big warring organisation made up of escorts.)

    2) Non-Federation Lockbox Ships (Ruins immersion)

    3) Cryptic's Obvious Greed

    4) Lockbox

    5) High cost of everything in game to try and get players to spend cash...

    just to name a few

These kind of posts, mainly because it's just trolling.

I'm not sure whats more annoying users who whine about anything and everything or users that whine about others whining about anything and everything.

Also annoying are users who accuse others of whining about trivialities when the issues in question aren't trivial but genuine problems, these users tend to also fall into the above category.

They are useful in one respect though they break up the genuine posts nicely leaving a good gap in between I find this easier on the eyes. :D

My top 3 annoyances in STO:

    1. Fundamental principles of Star Trek turned upside down by Cryptics designers, like rediculusly strong Escorts and Star Trek ships in MMO "roles", althrough they are completely incompatible with that MMO mechanic.
(...and Deveolpers that put their own likes/dislikes over the need of the product.)

    2. Crypitcs and Perpetuals Ship/Uniform/interior "designs".

    3. Too much war/to little exploration and star trek feeling in general.

In my opinion, Cryptic would have been better advised if they would have created their own unique Sci Fi universe, instead of violating Star Trek to fit their own personal liking.
"...'With the first link, the chain is forged. The first speech censured...the first thought forbidden...the first freedom denied--chains us all irrevocably.' ... The first time any man's freedom is trodden on, we're all damaged. I fear that today--" - (TNG) Picard, quoting Judge Aaron Satie

    A tale of two Picards
(also applies to Star Trek in general)

Constant nerfing of things in game at the whim of devs that are effecting their playstyles.
(Having a player account while being a dev is what is commonly referred to as a conflict on interest)

Forum "people" who constantly attack any position for the express point of arguing about something such as the OT being "insignificant'" when by doing so they demonstrate their little minds as being such instead.

My biggest annoyance is flickering graphics in certain skydomes. Has always been an issue. Quit playing about 8 months ago, come back and it still happens. This really needs to be a priority fix. Makes it really hard on the eyes and just ruins the game in my opinion.

    Here's list of my annoyances.

    1. My computer sucks and it lags all the time, your stupid plasma spam doesnt help me to recover from it.

    2. I cannot afford new computer to actually play this game properly, and I'm stressing over it ALOT.

    3. people don't heal in stfs or they don't know how to efficiently make them, elite pugs(aka channels such as publicelitestf and elitestf) or not. this has dragged me closer and closer into making a rage guide to SPACE stfs. ground works just fine!

    4. people cheesing about stupid stuff when there is solution to the stuff they are doing wrong. (aka chat channels wont go to other toons, why do I die in stfs, how to move money/dilith to alts, why I cannot drag items to exchange so i dont have to manually type their name(LOL))

    5. KDF doesnt get content when fed gets content ALL the time. everytime kdf got soemthing fed also got the same thing. how many times feds got something but kdf didnt get anything? TOO MANY!

    6. you have to manually delete all the "item has sold in exchange" -mails instead of just checking them all and deleting all at once
Say the word, it saves the world.

My biggest annoyance with this game is the fight you have once in a while with your actions bars. And this comes from the fact that items and skills are sometimes put on one of your action bars.

Right now I have problems with set bonus skills, Jem'haddar and Breen. They are put somewhere in a slot. When I move them to a slot that is more convenient for me, it will return to its former slot, when I relog or when I change instance.

    - the time it takes to come out of combat. It is a ridiculous long timespan, which breaks gameplay to a huge amount in my opinion (space and ground)
    - communications disable you cloak (why?) / no options to disable this dialogue
    - high end equipment requires you to join a fleet, there is no alternative for weapons (give us back the old mkXII borg space weapons or a expensive alternative for fleet weapons?)
    - crafting is useless
    - if the lockbox-system isn't required for funding the game, it would be better off without it

Ground missions. The entire STO ground system seems very crudely tacked on. Ground maps are ugly, primitive and look very pre-fabricated and randomly generated from a very limited pool of resources. I wouldn't miss it if it disappeared tomorrow, and avoid ground missions like the plague whenever possible.

The worst ground missions are the ones designed with unnecessarily long distances between objectives. This is nothing more than time-padding. Forcing players to run through endless, featureless corridors just to make them spend more time on missions is the anti-thesis of good mission design. Thank god for the winter event boots - they cut down on the drudgery significantly.

I would not go so far as to call it an annoyance, but I find it a bit boring facing the same 3 types of enemies over and over again. In addition to the AI which seems more artificial than intelligent. Even on elite difficulty, enemy ships seem like they are commanded by first year cadets instead of experienced captains. Every move is predictable and as a result, every engagement is exactly the same.

I have also never understood the aggro system, and it is not just this game. Unless you are actually dishing out more damage than everyone else, why would the enemy be inclined to attack you over someone else?
