Who would like to See a Ship Sale?

It's been over 3 months since the last ship sale - anyone interested in seeing another?

I might dive into the Vesta pack at 4000 and the Regent at 2000


(mod's please leave in this section and not c-store promo's as I would like to see if anyone else is interested)

    I would love to see a ship sale because I just started playing STO yesterday and am already thinking about which ship/s to buy! :)

    There could be a lot of new players after season 7 launch that have not had a ship sale yet - will hope for you and them.

    They often do one after a new ship is launched - of course the Andorian ship would not be included in the sale.

    Who would want to pay less for ships? My guess would be "everyone". :)

    Yes please, shipyard ship exange would be an great adition for selling no used vesels like the ones given in the early stages of char development.

    Other option, make a forum based sale yard for all to look into with a selling and buying section. Then make it by chat console posible to package the shis and send them encrypted with a pasword wich is user created for just that 1 vesel transfer.

    Dont know if they r posible but its how i would see it as adition since it otherwise requires mayor coding of the source code... at least i think :D

    At this point, I am more interested in a sale of ship modules...
    Don't look silly... Don't call it the "Z-Store/Zen Store"...

    I'd like to see another sale yeah, though I'll be waiting at least six months. The ship I want to buy (in the sale) is an Andorian Escort, though I can guarantee the next sale wont include that ship, so I'll be waiting until they release another ship (and sale) so I can get a discount on it.

    What's usually the difference? 500zen?

    I would prefer if you'd wait until I have roughly 1000 more Zen.

    "Who wants a sale" - I can't envision there being many people who wouldn't like a sale, of any kind, at any time; except maybe that baby from the Capital One commercials. :)

    A better question would be: who is wanting a ship, but not buying it because they're waiting for a sale? That's information that might lead PWE to hold a sale.

    Yes a ship sale would be awesome right now! I remember when they had a sale on the odyssey pack for half price, I hope they do the same for the vesta class.

    It's likely that most of these people want one (or three) of the Andorian vessels, yet Cryptic never have a sale on a new ship so soon. I doubt they'd be willing to break tradition.

    I am the first to say that I am wanting several ships, but I am not buying because I am waiting for a sale to come. I am sure a lot of people feel the same way. Please pass this on to PWE Syberghost, and thank you

    Yeah, that sale happened a while back, there was a sale for the whole pack for half off, it was an awesome sale, I really hope they do that again for the Vesta, and hopefully they'll do it for the Andorian class escort packs eventually.

    I rarely buy anything that is not on sale and I have over 10,000 c-points saved up. Of course, I no longer spend real money on c-points or Krishna or whatever they are calling their currency since Atari sold the game, so it is not like Cryptic or Perfect world is losing out on any money at the moment.

    It'd make me get the Guramba and the Vesta (or, in the case of a half price deal on the vesta pack, as someone mentioned, the full pack :p). Maybe the Varanus or the tac Bortas to boost KDF metrics, though I'm not overly interested in flying these...

    Yes I will add the Guramba to my list - Vesta pack, Regent, Guramba(would like a fleet version too) maybe 1 more on the outside the Karfi - but I don't really like the look too much.

    I'm sitting on 50 bucks of Zen right now, and I'm eyeing up new chassis designs while waiting for a ship sale. March is coming, perfect time for a 'March Madness!' Z-Store sale.

    I've been considering purchasing a new ship or perhaps some other things. A sale would undoubtedly entice me off the fence.

    I was so sad when they didn't have a Christmas ship sale (I went wanting for Christmas lol). I wish they would have a service sale, there are a bunch of things I want to buy but it's hard to justify those prices =P. Now that I think about it, I wish they would have more sales more often. By that I mean either have general z-store wide sales when they do have a sale, or do specific items more often.

    I get why they wait a long time for a sale, that way when the sale finally does come it's exciting and you want to pounce on it. Unfortunately, over the course of playing this game for well over a year now I've only been able to take advantage of a single ship sale. It's because the ship sales come and go without warnings and they usually only last a weekend. It really sucks when you miss a sale for something you wanted. It's like oh well, there's always next year lol.

    I often think about how often Steam has its sales and how often the Steamrunner has been on sale. Kind of wish I could buy all my stuff on Steam ;).

    What good are thier sales when its for feds anyway. and once and blue moon kdf sale. But some sales would be good.

    I been building up my zen for a ship sale. There is a couple of ships I want. And with a sale I can get a better deal and chance for more ships. Depending on the reduction of price. Granted the newest ships won't be on it. But the others I have a few in mind already.

    Excelsior Refit
    Galaxy Refit
    Defiant Refit
    Vesta Tactical
    Andorian Tactical

    Just to name a few.

    With exception of the bundles or T5 starships, most consoles aren't bound to the starship builds that they come with. I'm curious how many player's would perceive a ship sale as an opportunity to snag special consoles on the cheap? Not caring so much about using the starships at all.

    I tend to use the ships I buy. Next sale they have. To me its a good chance to get a few ships I been wanting.

    My Engineer needs a more Eng. based ship. This is where the Excelsior or Galaxy comes in. Since I don't have one more Eng. based. So that will help on that option.

    As for my Tact. I saw what "free" ships they offer. I was not pleased. So I'm really going to make use of the Defiant Refit. Later the Vesta tact. or Andorian.

    Well the generic +15% Zen sales help with that and everything else. Zen Sales don't get you quite the savings of a 20% off specific item sales, but they're near specific item sales.

    During the last ship sale I bought the Odyssey pack, Bortasqu' pack, Armitage, Sao Paulo and Bellapharon.

    As soon as there is a ship sale I will buy an Atrox, the Vesta pack, the Regent, probably the Garumba for my KDF tac, and maybe a few more lower-tier ships for some consoles I'm missing.

    The last few sales were ship sales. I'd like to see a general sale. Or a services sale. I want to buy a bunch of inventory, boff, ship, and doff slots for my characters!
