5 hours of update then cant log in due to que as a life time sub from launch thisis not good. Then get into game zone to ESD and server times out then cant log back in as que again OMFG sort it out:mad:
I would like the anniverary more if it was lag free and i could get from place to place without it saying server not responing every time, aslo it would be nice to get access to all my toons which because of the lag i could not, not really off to a great start are we, please fix this thanks

apparently they miscalculated that 2 million captains thing by about ohhhh 7000 according to the queue when attempting to login
Just give it a day or two theres too mant people wanting to get in at the same time. so you may say its like a good wine. "it tastes better when aged" just give them a little time.
2 million captains what a load of TRIBBLE when you get "sorry game servers full" with 6300 players online , a little short of 2 million is it not and it is indeed time you upgraded the servers if sto it to survive
I love this game and the content is great but again Cryptic does not fail living up to their name. It's very cryptic that they still have poor implementation when it comes to updates, new addons and even patching. You give gold members a priority login, yet I'm still sat in a queue trying to log on.
Focus on improving your servers if you want to provide a good service, if it were me I'd have measures put in place knowing full well that it's going to be busy after an update like this. A little update puts the game in chaos for a few days and then new content screws up the log in. Any company that deals with online games should focus on working out the bugs and providing a stable service.
You could learn a few lessons from some of the other big companies out there like SE. I'll never leave STO but I'd love to be able to honestly say that Cryptic is a reliable company that provides a stable service - I don't know what you do to test that these updates work fine, but it doesn't seem that your testing stages are working to the standard they should be, as if they were there wouldn't be all these major issues after a small update a few days ago and new content being added a few days later.

Yep, why the hell am I in a login queue when I'm a subscriber? And why does it take exactly 53.13 seconds to load each time I zone? (I've caught it at the exact time when the Server Not Responding flashes out.)

Here's a map to show how much they've screwed up the game map.
'Temporal Ambassador' is one of the coolest missions in the game IMO. An interesting non-combat mission rolled into a nostalgia trip; but too short to drag, like some of the TOS era missions can.
Also I couldn't help but laugh a little at the game gently chiding me for talking to a tribble.
My only complaint would be about the lag; but I was expecting that anyway.
I think they really just figured out:
"Hell, we need to reduce server load let's reduce player capacity by 10.000".
It's not like 10.000 people all of sudden want to login.. they probably just switched character or the like.
I managed to do the ambassador mission get my two free ships and uniform but as soon as i reached ESD the game crashed now im in a freaking queue and have been fr the past hour.
Common cryptic with all the money you scam off us you can afford to open a few more servers to handle this type of load volume.:rolleyes:

I see the queue getting longer, too, without any change in place.
Maybe they just set the limit to zero so nobody can log in again - because people log out - which I think is what's making the queue grow since people try to log back in + people just showing up.
77 out of over 10K now... queue's been building for an hour. Servers full. I'm in agreement with all posted previously. If you can't handle the traffic, stop trying to milk the $$. It's going to cost you players in the long run...
Idk i might go play battlestar galactica online sure its a crappy game but atleast i can loggin and play get frusterated get mad rage quit then come back here get queued for another our wash rinse repeat lol:D
None lifetime... 6871 of 11148... I wouldn't be complaining that loud from my seat if I were you, I was static at 20 as Lifers could log in jumping past me in the queue.
I don't think that's unfair, just maybe think about how big the queue really is.

Priority Login for gold lifetime: Free [?] Gold Members are placed in the front of the login queue.
So... why am i on 2550 of 8346? Is there another 2549 lifetime and or gold waiting?
yes it matters seeing as a lot of paying members cannot even login to the game :rolleyes: , i would love to hear the devs thoughts on this subject !!
