I'm having an issue with Empty Ship BOFF slots after completing the mission... anyone else having this trouble? It's a little annoying having to reassign my bridge officer stations after completing the mission on each toon.

Not an issue or bug, happens every time you switch ships. You went from the "C" in the mission back to your normal ship.

Ah I see... I never experienced it before now. I have done missions in the past where you switch between one ship and back to your main ship.... Was one in the Klingon story arc if I remember correctly? I never had that issue back then.

Anyway... no biggie... I still consider it a bug tho and hope it's on the list to get fixed someday. :)

I've not been playing long (only just hit commander), I have to say the mission was nicely done. Loving the free ship :) As for the uniform the yesterdays enterprise bit of kit is just the belt and strap, otherwise the actual uniform is just the standard TNG uniform.

    http://tinyurl.com/Yesterdayenterprise

As for the Enterprise Cs uniform, that's just the wrath of khan uniform. My only gripe is that the strap is bugged on my character ie the strap cuts through her breast. This happens on all the different uniforms when scrolling through.

Love the mission cryptic thank you for that, the ship is awesome as well.

To all the people that have been with the game for more than a year the server issue should be no surprise when it comes to events like this it happens every time even when cryptic did update the servers to accompany the load it still happen, to any one that is new to the game (a year or less) this happens with every event/major update the servers get bogged down with the amount of players getting on all at once my suggestion is relax the mission is here for almost two weeks so you can get your T5 version of it with out rushing the mission will be in game after that but only the T3 will be the reward

so everyone relax stop nagging you will be able to log on after the rush is over.

Surprised there wasn't a service sale.

Nothing says "I think I'll buy some ship slots" like a free ship + a sale on slots...

Oh well, their loss :P I'll just delete some C-Store ship I'm not using :P

I enjoyed the mission. Nice callback to a classic TNG episode. Wasn't too action heavy but the story parts weren't a slog which made it entertaining enough. Too bad the mission feels so out of place for KDF though. Would have been nice to change it up a bit, yes?

The KDF ship is good though. Liking it a lot for my Sci so far. Tons of shield healing powers plus space for 2 tac teams. I may never die in PvE ever again. And personally, I think it looks fantastic. Really cool design.

i have been here for the release of season 5 + 6 and 7 and i have never had the message game servers full before , and as for the server upgrade they did not do a good enough job if they still got bogged down . they know how many players they have so stop defending them , they can do that them self's ;)

ps: love the new ship :)

It is a bug they are tracking down. I had that confirmed from Zero in the TTS channel earlier today.

Yep, all my BOFFs decided to stay on the other ship after the mission was completed.

I enjoyed it, nice combination of action and interaction. The Wisest Tribble was awesome. The environment was spectacular. The ships were gorgeous, even if the KDF ship WAS a kitbash ;) (A good inside joke too, since the original Ent-C was a kitbash). My only complaint was having to do everything from the control room on twice, the 3 times I did it today.

    I loved it!

I had a very strange BUG though... the Enterprise-C was Completely INVISIBLE when I boarded it to fly into the final space battle.

It was really weird, I could see the ship outline on the mini-map, but the ship itself did not appear at all during the battle.

I just kinda glided around the area, keeping my camera nose pointed at the Tholian enemy ships and mashed all my skill buttons like crazy. :D

I managed to squeak through till the Temporal ship showed up and really saved my TRIBBLE.

To tell ya the truth, it made it kinda more interesting then a normal space battle, but it would have been nice to have seen the C. <shrug>

Did anybody else have this problem??

Also, my BOff's were bumped when I went back to my Wells time-ship, but they worked just fine when I replaced them.

I'm very new to STO (started a week or so ago) and I have to say I thought this mission was great. Enjoyed every minute of it and having to do it twice through the maintenance ducts because of the temporal disturbance was a nice touch ;)

I'm a 'free player' and I agree with the gold players, they should get priority. I got logged on as soon as the servers were back up after maintenance and, other than a bit of lag and the aforementioned redoing of the mission, I had no problems. Also it would've been nice for cryptic to keep us informed (maintenance extension was the last message that I saw and then I got logged off around 8 hours ago so went to bed. Couldn't get back on half hour ago but no notices had been posted).

In the week I have been playing I have spent more on microtransactions than I would've a full game. With this in mind, cryptic should invest some of that cash in updating servers a bit.

Anyway, thank you for the mission/ship/uniform really enjoyed it.

Although I have enjoyed Seasons 6 and 7, and my personality does lend me to grinding, this one mission made me excited about STO in a way that I have not felt since playing Coliseum or Past Imperfect for the first time, and this even without the rewards. It is difficult for me to articulate, but I think the key is that (as someone else remarked here) it felt so undeniably 'Trek,' in a way that new ships and new zones do not: it felt like playing through a good episode of TNG or DS9. I would trade entire new sectors for more well-thought, well-crafted missions like these. But don't let that stop your work on a playable Tribble faction: that's very important, too.

In any case, thank you for this, and hats off to Denise Crosby for pitching in and adding to the nostalgia factor.

Loved the ambassador class not to sure about the komerang its ok i guess but hated the yesterdays ent uni a sash and belt..seriously?

Thats not a uniform thats a sash and belt sheesh and here i thought i was gonna get some killer threads to strut around ESD in what a let down.

Loved the yesterdays Ent mission very detailed really cool though it was well strange going through it using my KDF toon for some reason i thought it would be the komrang instead of the ent c in the tholian base but whatever still a great mission good work.

I love the part popper BALLOOONNS WOO HOO :D:D

Yes i do tend to run around ESD using it like mad also on my bridge just because ...ii can haz baloons on mah ship man :D:cool:

This mission hits it out of the ballpark. It had a little bit of everything. Especially, for player's who are new or playing at lower levels. The story was a really interesting what if... And a great use of our BO's within context to this story.

Thank you for developing this anniversary mission so that it can be maintained within the story missions. We can replay this anytime we want to.

Just popping in to say: Awesome job, guys!

Really liked the mission, well done. Diversity, well-balanced different aspects. I liked it a lot.

Also, I just took my Kamarag for a test drive, and man, that thing is a beast! Really snug fit for my playing style, and it is awesome.

Off to play the mission again on a Federation character now. Both for the enjoyment of the mission, and to get the Ambassador. Flying that one in the mission felt like more, definitely.

    Cheers, guys!

Here's to many more years *raises glass*

Enjoyed the mission to get the Ships;) Glitchy return to ESD though.

[System] [ItemReceived] Item acquired: Yesterday's Enterprise Uniform

After struggling for several minutes to get the Tailor to acknowledge my request, the new uniform was not to be found. I Hope this clears up soon;)

The "uniform" is actually just the belt and sash from Yesterday's Enterprise, so it won't show up in the normal uniform list. Check under the Chest and Belt options at the tailor and you should see them.

    Just some feedback:
    1. Please limit the amount of balloons allowed in a zone/area. Players ARE griefing others with lag from overuse of the balloons.
    2. The costume/appearance of the "armor set" is laughable -- a bikini without butfloss. Is there no chance of adding a shirt, pants, or even shoes?
    3. The ship is great for level 40, but many of us were hoping for something along the lines of a level 50 ship -- selling a level 50 ship in the c-store later devalues all effort put into both the development of the event and time invested by players for the ship. Please consider giving a "level appropriate" ship as a reward. (no escorts... disappointed face)
    4. The quest is bugged... Badly. Many players in my fleet have gotten so frustrated that they've just rage-quit for the evening. People get out of the zone to be told that the quest is only half completed having to repeat half the quest several times for completion.
    5. The story was ok.
Said NO to Arc. Gets punished by not being given a free outfit, free lobi, and free shuttle. Now forced to use Arc's site when trying to get to STO site. Still not rewards for beta testing the Arc website by force. Bravo Cryptic.

    Nice event so far.
Apart from the real bad lag, i ended up quitting last night as it was unplayeable.

But please fix the server, i get disconnected every 10minutes or so since you originally done launcher repairs during the week.

Really enjoyed the Temporal Ambassador mission guys, great work! Picked up the ship on a few of my toons already and will go back to do it again with the rest another day. Been waiting for this ship for a long time so I'm chuffed that it's eventually in the game. :)

"Critics who say that the optimistic utopia Star Trek depicted is now outmoded forget the cultural context that gave birth to it: Star Trek was not a manifestation of optimism when optimism was easy. Star Trek declared a hope for a future that nobody stuck in the present could believe in. For all our struggles today, we haven’t outgrown the need for stories like Star Trek. We need tales of optimism, of heroes, of courage and goodness now as much as we’ve ever needed them."
