It's even on display on Earth Spacedock: Kar'Takin on ESD
When the Dominion Featured Series came out, I fully expected this to be one of the mission rewards.
And now with this Lockbox, I expected the same.
Disappointed both times.
Also, as an aside, does the introduction of Dominion ships ingame sound the deathnell for a playable faction based around these ships?
I was eagerly anticipating a True Way faction which would allow me to make a Jem'Hadar Captain who could fly Dominion vessels.
I was going to give him all Dominion themed items, Polaron weapons, Vorta Science Officer, Jem'Hadar sets etc so on.
I'd even spend lobi on upgrading the Jem'Hadar gear for this character.
But with all these ships being made available via lockboxes, it seems highly unlikely they'll just give them to us for free for a Jem'Hadar Captain to fly.

Only thing is, not everyone is an engy... AND we already have Galor, D'kora and some countless cruisers and the Ambassador on the way... so yes, we REALLY needed more cruisers... at least call it Sort-of Cruiser Carrier... not Heavy Escort....
I like mirror VoQ and the nadeon console. Though the influx of Dominion ships without a Cardie/ Dominion faction makes me wonder if that faction will ever exist.

Actually, my hope is that this will end the demise of beams, in that they give us some kind of "beam rapid fire" power or improve beams (or nerf cannons) in some other way soon.

I think the devs stated yesterday that the animations necessary for that particular weapon to be used in game do not yet exist so they decided to skip it this go around.
It really can't now. Neither can it exist as a reputation faction. What would they have left to reward?
Hence my concern that they have lockboxed themselves into never having STO having even minimum factions to represent all the powers that exist in the IP.

I can agree with that, right now 4 dual beam have barely more dps than 4 single canon, even if their firing arc is 90? versus 180? beam power issue is that bad.
Second issue is the lack of beam version of the turrets you can't do good dps is you can't use your boss ability on your rear weapons

Just a quick note, I'll be increasing the turn rate on the Jem'Hadar Heavy Escort Carrier from 12 to 13 soon. Not sure when this will make it live.

Yeah really 1 isn't enough, needs 2. The Fleet HEC which is pretty much the same ship minus a bit of different layout, has a turn of 15!
Same thing except for it has more than 2k hull, a very slight higher shield mod, 150 more crew, and 5 less weapon power for 5 more aux and shield power.
I would say its a little more than the same ship.

What can I say talking to the trolling feds on certain subjects finally caused my temper to flare back up. Couple that with certain aspects of STO in general and my BS meter had reached its apex. I needed a time out, so I took some time.

Worry not about that, because by the time al of this happens, these ships will be obsolete and have becomed a part of the STO history and this lockbox will be long forgotten.
I haven't seen an Mk12 Jem'Hadar ground set yet, but I did see one component of the space set.

What if you wanted to equip multiple sets across several ships?
If you swap ships a lot, it would be inconvenient to migrate the entire set to whatever ship you wanted to use.
And similarly, what if you wanted to kit out an entire away team or crew with the ground set?
Would this also be nixed by the Unique restriction?
The way I see it, Mk12 is endgame gear.
I don't know much about MACO, Omega or KHG sets, but I'm assuming if you invest the time in collecting the Omega Marks and Borg Neural Processors, you could theorectically assemble several sets of these.
So, it would be fair if you can do this with the Jem'Hadar sets as well, in case a player is motivated to do this for whatever reason.

Since you have to have the Jem Bug on your character to unlock the new Bug carrier pet, I was thinking....
Maybe we could also have a Jem escort carrier pet for those select few people that have both the new dreadnaught carrier and the Jem escort carrier.
Each dreadnaught hanger could support 2 wings of the escort carriers pets, which after launched would each support 2 wings of their own Jem fighter pets.
This way you could launch up to 4 wings of escort carriers that would launch up to 8 wings of Jem fighters so in theory you could have up to 12 carrier pets!
Wow, i'm surprised by the BO layout of the Dominion Dreadnought and the Cruiser. I would have expected them to have a much more "tanky" setup.
Congratulatins devs, you have finally found out that no one wants to fly a super tank, althrough the dreadnought would have been more than qualified for that. Now the galaxy class is officially the most boring and lame ship in the game.

Apart from the battle cloak, the Jem HEC beats the KDF vet ship hands down I think. Just wish the vet ship had 10 console slots.
