Hi Captains,
We will be bringing down Star Trek Online tomorrow, Thursday, November 1st, at 6AM PDT (click
here to view in your timezone) for maintenance and to apply a new patch. Patch notes can be found
here, and we expect this maintenance to only last for 4 hours. The test servers may also be unavailable during this time.
Thanks for your patience and understanding,
- The Star Trek Online Team
11/1 @ 9:36AM UPDATE: Unfortunately, due to technical difficulties, we've needed to extend our maintenance timeframe. The new ETA for the servers being back up is 12PM/ noon PDT. We're hoping to have it up before then, though, and if that ETA changes, we'll update the thread again.

No, not quite yet -- we haven't even had our Test Weekend yet :P More details on that soon!
Cheers,
Brandon =/\=
it said the same thing in the last patches notes and that was only 3 hours :P;)
DELTA PRICE RISING
you mean soon(tm)!
Some need longer than others.
Nope Sooner than Soon(tm).
Cheers,
Brandon =/\=
Tomorrow Soon? :P
oh wait I got apple TV and netflix I am not up yet still listening to favorite morning show Preston and Steve 93.3 wmmr on itunes via IPAD
why no notes hmm
Ooh, so it might be next week! or the week after! or the week after that!
Come to think of it, "sooner than soon (tm)" doesn't actually tell us anything at all. :P
"Critics who say that the optimistic utopia Star Trek depicted is now outmoded forget the cultural context that gave birth to it: Star Trek was not a manifestation of optimism when optimism was easy. Star Trek declared a hope for a future that nobody stuck in the present could believe in. For all our struggles today, we haven’t outgrown the need for stories like Star Trek. We need tales of optimism, of heroes, of courage and goodness now as much as we’ve ever needed them."
-Thomas Marrone
Hopefully the team will iron out some lag from the storms till the external stuff is fixed further aswell on the east coast, also looking forward to the test weekend, need to properly update my fed and klink on redshirt and tts anyways.

in 29th century
they better be in! or imma go nuts lol
They better be in this patch, we were told 2 weeks 3 weeks ago, we know they are done and told just q and a had to look at them. I already bought the lobi and have had it just sitting waiting for it, so getting kind of ridiculous that the CORRECT uniforms for the temporal ships still isnt in, yet the stupid tubing unifrom that looks like a bunch of plastic wrap from the 31st century is....sigh.

the last 3 Wednesdays STO lagged badly for me until the Thursday downtime then it was good until the next Wednesday.
Not sure but if i remember correctly the last 3 weeks did not have a Tuesday-Reboot-the-Server-Downtime...?
It's not totally unplayable, but feels a lot more sluggish.
hm... with S6 we got these "sooner than you can think soon not today definatley but soon" posts. that made me skeptical.
and now I am expecting S7 for today. and I would hate you to let me down, so at least patch in the Vesta
10k DPS Vesta threads: 1; 2
When did that stop them:P
Maybe today.
i like to see patch notes with important stuff like "Resolved an issue that prevented KDF Lifetime subscribers from claiming their Fireworks emote." but we have a lot of missions and other bugs for months which dont get fixed. i dont quite understand the guy who is responsible for task managing at cryptic.
and u know this how???
In many country's today is a holiday - work free day!!
You should realize that this is international game and not US only.
And why did you move start of the update to 2 hours earlier.
What countries would that be...? I don't know of any in Europe at least.
