The envoy class. No one's uglier. But the "big TRIBBLE" kitty ship is close.
In general: all the warp nacelles that have been created lately. The toothpicks of the Regent and Odyssey class and the Swiss-army-knife-nacelles of the Armitage.
I like the Odyssey class in general and I think if they adapted the nacelles in size and form it would be an even more beautiful ship.
Marauder Flight Deck Cruiser. Thing is bloated and bulbous and protrusions here and there and looks like it should belong to one of the evil-stupid races (Kazon or evil Pakled maybe) or something truly inhuman like the Shelliac. Extra sad since its predecessors, the Dacoit and particular the Corsair, have this sleek menacing style going for them, yet the General level FDC fails so badly.
We have a winner!
As an aside, I have just leveled an Orion science captain into this ship, and it really is pretty sweet with the right setup. However, when we get to a tier 3 shipyard, Fleet Corsair!
the Jupiter... looks like a brick with popsicle sticks taped to it, with pencils taped to the popsicle sticks...

The ugliest ship of STO? I think it's that one that keeps making me imagine a giant Q with a golf club chasing after it...
*sings* "I like Gammera! He's so neat!!! He is full of turtle meat!!!"
"Hah! You are doomed! You're only armed with that pathetic excuse for a musical instrument!!!" *the Savage Beast moments before Lonnehart the Bard used music to soothe him... then beat him to death with his Fat Lute*
I think the ugliest ship(s) are the Miranda, Galaxy, Galaxy-X, Constitution, and Oberth.
Star Trek's ship designs didn't start to look good until they started streamlining the ships by removing the obnoxious neck that separated the hull and saucer. Even though the Oberth avoided having a neck, it's huge bulb for a saucer was just ugly.
Basically, the only ones that look good are all the escorts, the Intrepid, the Recon Science Vessel, the Assault Cruiser, Star Cruiser, the Atrox Carrier, whatever the Stargazer class cruiser is called because I don't want to look it up right now, and the Excalibur (The only exception I make to the necked cruisers.)
I only listed the Stargazer because thanks to it's customization options, I can make it look like a four-nacelled escort without the nacelles themselves sticking out too far from the rest of the ship.

PWE ARC Drone says: "Your STO forum community as you have known it is ended...Display names are irrelevant...Any further sense of community is irrelevant...Resistance is futile...You will be assimilated..."
Well, that's hard. Almost all FED escorts are ugly (except the Prometheus, perhaps with some of its variants), the heavy cruisers are ugly as well. The same goes for the Olympic class and its variants and the Oberth. Oh, forgot about the Deep space science vessels.
And there are many more single skins of otherwise nice ships.
But since I am to choose the ugliest, I'll go with the "escort", particularly the Ushaan skin.
On KDF side, there are many ships that I would call "interesting" instead of ugly, like the Kar'fi. So if I skip a couple single skins (Tor'kaht, among others), there remain the Guramba, the Marauder, the B'rel and the K't'inga... hmm, interesting, looks like I like KDF ships better. Anyway, the ugliest is hands down the Marauder flight deck cruiser.
TOIVA, Toi Vaxx, Toia Vix, Toveg, T'vritha, To Vrax: Bring in the Allegiance class. Toi'Va, Ti'vath, Toivia, Ty'Vris, Tia Vex, Toi'Virth: Add Tier 6 KDF Carrier and Raider. Tae'Va, T'Vaya, To'Var, Tevra, T'Vira, To'Vrak: Give us Asylums for Romulans.
I cant stand the look of it. Its too flat, and it look very fore-heavy from the side with the nacelle pylons slanted forward. And from the top it looks like a turkey ready to be roasted... Only good part about the ship are the nacelles... but overall the default stock sovereign is much much better.
Actually that would be each and every non-canon ship in there. No, not just because I'd wish for a game that really feels and looks like Star Trek but all of those "new" ships just look to me as if the designer just didn't get the hold of the basic design principle of the IP. They all look so out of place/wannabe cool, I don't know. I especially hate the caitian ships - if the DEVs had to invent some completely new ship design why did they just copy battlestar galactica instead of doing some original work? Granted, we never really saw any caitians at all. But the design they choose do not reflect the image I got from the rare sources we had. At all.

it's not like the canon ships are any better. The Galaxy is the worst design in the whole franchise.

Keeping in mind that this is all about individual opinion....
I don't like the Luna class. Not one bit.
That pod attached to the saucer looks out of place, and viewing that ship from behind it reminds of one of those dogs that's dragging itself around the carpet! Or a slug.
Sorry - great abilities, functions well in use, but I just hate the look of the thing.
Agreed on the Pod, but not on the Luna as a whole. If you remove the Pod (you can in the customizer), it's one of the best-looking SVs. Not that it's such a hard thing to achieve, considering SVs is where ugly Ships congregate (the Nova isn't ugly, but it's too damn small).
The Galaxy looks good, he just trollan'. On the other hand, the Constitution, Excelsior, Excalibur,... all look pretty bad. Not Olympic/Hope/Horizon-class bad, but still bad.

has anyone mentioned IT yet? IT was a galaxy skin iirc, and was removed from STo for crimes against civilization.
I dont remember what it was actually called, but everyone called it the "legoprise"
I will try to find a a pic.

My nomination is the Maestrom skin for the Fleet Escort. It looks like a turtle that has mated with a facehugger. Yet it also looks cool too in a flying tank kind of way. Whats your ugly ship of Sto?
Seconded, The Fleet Escort was the ugliest ship in STO before they added the Maestrom which has crowned it king.
This thing is just horrific, but I can't stop laughing at it. It's like they took a Galaxy Saucer and attached it to a mangled trash heap, and then called it a ship. What was the concept artist smoking?

Those 4 nacelle fed ships look ugly to me too.
KDF side the Orion peanut ship! Everytime I see an orion ship, all the 'Yo Mama' jokes come to mind!:P

Next is probably Gladius. I'm not even sure which end is supposed to be the front.
The Jupiter is ugly, but it's pretty uncommon so I can live with it.
I wouldn't mind the Envoy if its nacelles weren't mounted so far back.
I love the Odyssey and the Emissary.

nuff said.

I am sorry but i like the escort refit "sao paulo" look.
The Kar'fi and the Tholian ships (shuttle as well as weaver and recluse) come in second and third.
And there are many more single skins of otherwise nice ships.
But since I am to choose the ugliest, I'll go with the "escort", particularly the Ushaan skin.

Don't make ARC mandatory! Keep it optional only!
Ship type? Deep Space Science vessels (whats with hull poking down all by itself?) I guess you can toss the Oberth in here too.
And I've always thought Ferengi ships were fugly.
U.S.S Spellbound, Multi-Mission Strategic Explorer. NCC-92008.
