Ahoy Captains!

We will be bringing down Star Trek Online tonight, Friday, August 10th, at midnight PDT (click here to view in your timezone) for maintenance and to apply a new patch. Patch notes can be found here, and we expect this maintenance to last for only 2 hours.

    Ah cool glad you were right on that crashing business :)

    Good time to watch those tv shows I missed while playing with the mines with my b'rel :D

    Crashed with out warning No messages about update or any thing.

    Ah, that explains why I was booted out of the game and unable to get back in. You guys didn't even schedule enough time to have in-game warnings for those who are 'immersed'.

    agreed, pretty lame was in the middle of an episode....on top of that the servers were down for a 2 hour patch this morning....this some sort of everyday occurance round here? lame

    It says the is an update.......a real small one

    look at the update for the 10th

    Usually they do have an in game warning notice starting at 30 minutes, maybe the Vegas nightlife is getting to them so they forgot.

    So now we have patches Thursday and Friday? Maybe you could have a patch that, oh i dunno, doesn't require an immediate second patch, that would b a novel idea

    I do SO love random maintenance with no warning before the server goes down. Because, you know, I don't hang out in the forums 24/7

    The way it works here is, they patch.. then they patch again to fix whatever they screwed up with patch 1. It's fairly standard procedure yes.

    Yeah I was just playing, minding my own business, and all of a sudden I'm disconnected. I had to come check the forums to see what the hell happened. Thanks a lot for the notice, guys... :(

    um how are we suppose to no that no messages on the game launcher There should be a message on the Game launcher at all times if there going to be bringing te servers down.

    Was right in the middle of a STF i mean WTF.

    Can we have some in-game warning next time...? This post was posted at 10PM and the server shut down at 11PM... that is like next to no notice or chance of knowing, and there was no server announcements, I wouldn't of went into an Elite STF if I knew this was going to happen 15 minutes after I entered -.-'
