new patch stuck

I Have tried to log into the game since today's patch came online, but the patcher seems to be stuck with 16MB of the patch left to do. Is there a problem or just the usual patch server overload ?

    I think it is the usual server overload.
    We just have to wait.

    Same with me seems to be stuck on the last 16mbs for the last 30 minutes :(

    UPDATE: It finally worked... must have been lag.

    Well 15 mins gone by and the patched says patched 70.6MB/86MB and the received files keeps going up currently on 300MB and counting... Whats going on ?

    Exactly the same problem. *sigh* No gaming tonight it seems.

    /edit: And how can it be "lag"? After all, the launcher is downloading something..it just refuses to patch the last few megabytes. Good work breaking it Cryptic :/

    +1 Stucked at 84.1%. Reloging, restarting not helps...

    Stuck here as well although I'm doing the normal things to force it like force verification, flipping disable on and off, etc. Been at it for like an hour now.

    I noticed the Tribble patch from last week was doing the same thing. Never did complete. Tried it again during the Holodeck downtime and it still didn't complete.

    It was coming down very slowly for a bit. Like 1kB taking a couple of minutes. Now it;s stopped.

    *shrug* Still watching Buffy though. Up to the episode where she and the other Scobbies kill a vampire. :)

    dont close client just let it download as closing it will make it end up staying stuck

    thats what i'm doing but it still hasn't patched and I'm close to downloading around 800MB when the patch only has 16MB left to patch.....

    Patience seems the best solution in this situation indeed. It's successfully updates after some time. Good luck to all.

    Add me to the list. The patch slows to a crawl and doesn't seem to kick itself over 86%.

    Flipped back to the tribble install and it started patching again.

    And stopped with 14 megs left.

    Hour three just finished.

    Patched 71.9MB/86MB

    Received 28.6mb - 83%

    Well, this just put a damper on my STF running for today... Stuck at 1% with 5954KB / 352MB :|

    for those who is taking forever to patch or if you closed the client and restarted it your own fault as thats what causes it to get stuck so your going to have to delete the live and the tribble ( public test) folder if you do the public test and redo the patch and dont touch it or you will have to redo it all over again

    Mine was stuck at around 98.7% for about 10 minutes... so it's just a matter of waiting

    If anything, I would suggest simply restarting the computer and trying again before deleting things willy-nilly.

    Im also stucked, i have been trying different stuff (all from this forum) for about 2 hours, now i will try the final solution which is leave it alone and see if it solves it by itself

    I actually though I'd play today.....Took the wife to a slew of Dr appointments....thought I'd reward myself with some STO.

    WRONG.

    Started the patch at 6pm CST.....It's 4 hours later...and stuck at 83%.....

    Guess I get to have my Robot watch the PC all night.......:mad:

    Downloaded over 50MB, but the amount of code that's been patched didn't budge.
    Have downloaded 157MB, patched 497.8MB / 513MB. Whatever I'm downloading, it's big, but hasn't patched anything.

    Wouldn't it make sense for the developers to include the size of the patch in the release notes?
