EV Suit Set.

I dont know what they are doing with these new EV suits. (The proper Fed one and the new klingon one seen in the Tholian event). I assume we will eventually be able to win these or buy them etc.

I think it would be cool if a shield and weapon also came with them, designed to fight against tholians for a new ground set. If it was tied to the event itself it would increase replayability as we try to earn the gear.

    Is the suit in the set the new First Contact style one, worn by the NPCs? And how do you go about getting the set?

    Yes, its the same EV suit.

    Personally, not sure how you get it. Could be you get it by completing the Tholian set. Or could be something that will be added to the Fleet store.

    The EV suit that is part of the set is not the First Contact style EV suit... I have a friend who got the EV part of the set. It just looks like a normal EV suit but more goldish/orange.

    It's a well known thing in MMOs - NPCs get to wear all kinds of cool stuff that the players will never get to wear.
    My main character is T'Les which was also my former forum name and I want it back! Hylarr is one of my alts.

    well a couple of people posted links to the purple ev suit and purple shield in zone chat when I was on tribble earlier, I guess they got them from the purple packs for completing the hard interior/exterior missions. I got the purple cryo blaster from a blue reward pack recieved for one of the medium missions.

    hoping the prizes available in each reward pack will be listed somewhere, along with at least a "low/medium/high" chance description so you know which missions you need to grind for the chance at them. i guess best bet is to run the red missions as much as you can for a better chance at the set.

    I got my purple woven crystal EV suit from a blue box from the medium missions.

    I got the shield from the reward pack from an medium mission actually.
