I want the stuff I was promised as a lifetime subscriber here:

    if you look you will see the Career Officer is blue, where normal users such as what i am are white. as for username - different forum software i imagine they might work on it.. maybe. anything else?

    previously, lifers could choose whatever color they wish.. anything but the color that cryptic personnel used, I believe... or am I wrong?

    I've always seen career officers blue. You have your title. Don't worry...

    It's their it's just been moved.
    Open the control panel, then click your avatar, and at the bottom is the option to show your a lifer. The color bit *shrug*
    I'm the original @Gurga, accept no substitute. I would have used my handle but, that would have been too much to ask. Seeing as I use it for every other forum I visit.

    Aside from the small fact that the form does not stop non-lifers from using the title (As I discovered on a throwaway PW account made earlier, now defunct)

    This sentence says:

    Forum goodies - Change the color of your username and show off a special title.

    which means I should have the ability to change the color of my forum username.

    It doesn't say....

    Forum Goodies - You will be assigned a special color for your username by Cryptic and show off a special title.

    You'll notice that my username (not career officer title) is the same color as all of yours.

    shrug....

    people actually care that much about what colour there text is? and it was a "feature" for lifetime subscription.... the things people pay money for :rolleyes:

    I never saw an option to change the colour other than to select the blue Career Officer title, which remains.

    the tos says they can also change or remove any feature. sucks but there it is. you get what you pay for - in this case you pay for virtual items and you get virtually nothing.

    No idea, maybe because it changed the colour of the username from white to blue with the Career Officer title active?
    As far as I know there was no way to select which colour your name displayed as but selecting the Career Officer title did change it to blue, however now that the default colour's blue that clearly doesn't apply any more other than to the title itself.

    You change it to Blue and get the special Career Officer title. It does not say "a color of your choice". It's always been this way and it's the same as the old forums.

    Fine, then it needs to be different in color from everyone elses (non-lifers) username. :)

    Aaaah I see ... catching up with everyone else now :redface: Its the fact that everyones 'Username' is now Blue. Was looking at the colour of the Forum Title. Oh well, not a major thing for me.

    Not a major thing. just another thing on that long and growing list of issues that wasn't planned for.

    Good point, we still have the title, but the custom username colour (which was blue compared to normal users white) has infact been taken away. Since this is an advertised feature of a product, doesn't that mean they actually have to fix it? Since they are actually false advertsing otherwise?

    I still wondering what happened the the LTS ingame exclusive chat channel as well that was advertsied, lol
