Cryptic is a business model based off of the short term, not the long term. You're asking them to approach something from a different direction than the company was created to do.

Trust is the point of contention between the KDF fans and the Dev's. Like a targ that has been beaten too much, the KDF no longer trust the Dev's to handle them with care and attention.
