I thank you for your complimentary tone. My position as always been one of principle, This based on the facts stated, My position has not changed, it still is that the Liberated Borg Captain is a Pre-launch investor limited LTS exclsuive ( as per the wording of the offer.) The MU set were unique by type and not exclusivity (as per the CO documented offer), the pre-order exclusives that I bought multiple copies to obtain were later made exclusive per vendor and rightfully so. It was never stated that they would not be offered in the future. I would not wish to deprive future subscribers from iconic trek items.

I would not have as much issue as I have stated many times before, if the Liberated Borg Captain was made available with the current LTS offer. I further will point out the wording of the offer does not support attaching said item to any other offer, this is merely my opinion and a reasonable recommendation.
(I however do not advocate this recommendation, but merely state that it is more likely to see this item return as part of the LTS, than ever in the C-Store.)

You are correct in my selection of the Data avatar representation, I distance myself from emotion in my debate to focus on facts and documentation. I do apologize for not having empathy in the MU debate. I did not show that emotion, because my opposition was cold and disrespectful, and would have sighted my empathy as weakness on my position.

I agree fully and have the same opinion in regards to my favor to both Picard and Data, I grew accustomed to their character details and was impressed with both Picard' balance, Data's factual interpretation, and his lack of tact and humanity when in regard to factual information being presented.

I will continue due diligence with my debate and fact finding investigation for the benefit of the community, even if the facts do not represent my personal outlook on the subject matter.

    Thank you. (piwright42)

Are you a public accountant in real life? Just a random question.

1.I in no way had anything to do with the poll with the exception of voting and supporting it. The poll I was speaking of recorded only one vote per person.....
This is factually incorrect, as the poll only records one vote per IP ADDRESS. A person with access to multiple hosts, (included such things as public library terminals, etc.) could easily skew a poll with such low vote counts...

I paid for the lifetime sub, not the liberated borg. I have no problem with others getting the opportunity to play a liberated borg character. Everything else is getting into the c-store, (which I also do not have a problem with), the borg should get in there as well.

This is true, but the spirit of the poll was to be one per person (IP Address), unless extreme measures are made to unethically influence the poll.

    Shhh... don't say that.

Every fact that is presented is often (if not always) ignored by the pollster. This covers a wide range of topics. You are just inciting another post about the perfection of the process and how it can not be manipulated no matter what you say. Remember... facts have no relevance in this discussion and will be ignored, as they have in the past. Posts, links and proof will be selectively used and screened to ensure that a balanced one-sided argument is ensured.

Resistance is futile, the borg has spoken lol.

There is no "debate" when the evidence is ignored.. just the sound of one hand clapping.

The only thing that was factual that was posted was in jest, I have been correct, factually , ethically, and my assessment has been predicted with near flawless accuracy. Resistance is not futile, but as many do not comprehend the facts and documentation are hard to argue against. Speaking from a sense of despise for my assessments do not help any position you may be in favor of and I, ask If you have nothing respectful to say, please say nothing at all.

I will speak and continue to speak against your hypocrisy. I will continue to dress you down, as you have shown your true colors with the private messages you had sent me. Your nature had shown through there quite clearly.

I know what you are and what you are like. I know you ignore facts and pretend that you do not. I know you take credit for things, when you had no part in the decision making process. As I said, it was always Cryptic's decision, not yours.

Cryptic will do what they want to with the liberated borg. It does not matter if you post 1 million times here. It does not matter if you make a million polls on a million sites. It will be their decision in the end. You have no more authority here than anybody else.

You have made your opinion known. And that is what it is.. opinion. Cryptic has made it quite clear that it will change the meaning of words at the drop of a hat. The "exclusive" liberated borg will probably be in the store or as a vet reward by the end of summer or even tomorrow. Who knows.... You are just hanging around to cause problems and that is it. Now move on and do something that promotes harmony in the game, instead of discord.

I am not impressed or intimidated in any way. Just bored of the attitude... as are many, from what I can see.

Your posts only resemble a troll who uses more eloquent grammar.

They should put it as a LTS bonus because the people who preordered the LTS got it cheaper ($250) and now its $300

Actually one of the Devs confirmed this like one of the other posters in this thread mentioned and linked where to find confirmation about it. Repeat the Liberated Borg is now part of the Lifetime Subscription regardless of when you bought it.

My private message was one of peace and complimentary on how well the MU uniforms looked. Your response was an inappropriate, the effort was futile so I discontinued my efforts in trying to reason with you. Your assessment of knowing me is highly inaccurate and unsubstantiated . The misconception that I am making decisions in any of Cryptic offer is comical, and speaks to the lack of factual perception, also speaks volumes concerning most of your posts. My factual debate and documentation does not constitute decision making, but facts and documentation are hard to ignore. (I do not ignore facts I keep them in context with their meaning in relation to the topic)

I take credit for community victories, in which I heavily contributed to factual debate. I however do not claim to make decisions on behalf of Cryptic. My goal has never been to impress or intimidate you, but making a statement to that effect would tend to indicate one or both may be true. It is not my position to entertain you, so if your bored I would recommend a hobby.

The Liberated Borg Captain I have stated many times that factually it is the only true "limited time Pre-launch exclusive" as per Cryptic documentation. My prediction, not my position is that the respective item will be again attached to LTS offer and not admitted to the C-Store, many of my predictions have come to fruition, this is currently factual at this point, I would ask that anyone who opposes my view point recognize and respect my foresight in these matters.

    Thank you.

There was nothing peaceful in your message. You know it. I know it. The message was to draw a reaction from me. I responded to you. I even asked you to refrain from further private messages,...which you did not honor and responded rudely. If peace was your intent, you would not have sent the message worded the way you did. You would have asked to to just leave it behind us and move forward. What you were doing was the act of a man seeking a fight. If peace was your intent, you would have honored the request not to contact me again, after I had asked. You didn't. The intent was clear. It did not take a PHD to understand. You were trolling.... still are.

You are now just lying through your teeth.

I think the community as a whole should just drop you on ignore, as you provide no positive input to anything in the game. You only seek to divide and cause strife. This is what you are doing here.

You have no foresight. Cryptic has proven it will do what it will do. It does not need your guesswork. It does not need your permission. You act as if you voice counts for something.

    It doesn't.

Once again, you are trolling... nothing more and a dev or moderator with any intellect would recognize it and drop you from the forum for a week or so, so we can have decent discussions without you.

    You would not be missed.

Thanks for proving me right about you, again.

 You obviously took the message out of context and responded rudely, therefore I responded with thank you and left it at that. This does not surprise me, you have been taking most factual documentation out of context, due to what is perceived as anger/ hate issues of debate shortcomings. I do apologize for you feeling the way you do, but your aggression is not warranted nor appreciated, I ask for you to please cease and desist.

    Thank you.

I ask for you to you to apologize for your actions which were out of line. Don't apologize for the emotions I feel, because you are lying yet again.

Apologize to me for being the troll that you are, and we can call it a day.

Until then sir, don't speak to me of shortcomings, when you have ignored every fact presented to you.

It is not a debate, if you ignore the facts.

    Thank you.

That is all I wanted. Yes, I was offended. That is a large step here.

Respect is something that is earned. You have earned respect from me for the apology.

I think that can be a starting place.

Let's call it a truce then.

Just to throw my two cents into this ring. The Liberated Borg should not be added to the C-Store, but should be added for Lifetime Accounts bought after launch. Mainly just for people like me who didnt have a couple hundred dollars to shell out all at once. But if they don't add it I may get a Lifetime account anyway.

It has been posted that Cryptic may have already attached the Borg Captain to the current LTS, we are currently awaiting confirmation of this fact.

They should just add it as the 500 or 600 day vet reward since they already have added the Captain's Table. Therefore, if you want to get it right now, then buy the lifetime subscription, but if you can wait, then get it as a vet reward. With it as a vet reward, most of the lifers will be happy since it requires lots of money and it won't be available as a C-store item. At least with it as a vet reward, we won't be seeing thousands of them running around opening weekend.

I would prefer it be tied solely to the LTS if anything, it will encourage more members to become "invested in the title"

    The Cryptic already sent mass email to the current lifetime subscribers, stating that we are entitled to the Liberated Borg as well. Not sure why the Cryptic provided a notice via forum or via their website, but oh well. Here's the message we got from Cryptic;

    Greeting Captain,

You spoke, and we listened! The option to play as a Liberated Borg captain has been fully unlocked for every Star Trek Online Lifetime Subscriber!

To access the new species, simply create a brand new character, then select "Liberated Borg" when choosing your Captain's race. This option should be immediately available, and does not need to be manually unlocked in the C-Store.

We thank you for your commitment and dedication to Star Trek Online, and look forward to seeing you in the game!

    Thanks for all your support,

    The Star Trek Online Team

Thank you for this post, It was obviously not advertised on the forum, because of the volatility of the offer.
The only real complaint I have here is the lack of transparency as promised of Cryptic!

Got my lifetime lastnight and waas suprised to get the liberated borg option! I think that the liberated borg species should only be allowed to Lifetimers not just becuase I'm a lifer, but because people are already getting the Captain's Table, which use to be lifer's only, for the veterans award what else are they going to take from lifers? Keeping the lib borg to life timers might encourage others to purchase the lifetime subscription. But i know that Crpytic will not probably listen and put the lib borg in the Cstore in the future just to earn $$
