Loving the new stuff in STO and the game itself!!! What an awesome purchase!!! Plus I gotta love playing with other fleet members! Gripen, Janeway, Shepard ... Awesome fun folks!
Quick note to our members that a UFP Holomatch is taking place on Saturday. If you have Elite Force 1 installed or have the disc, we'd love for you to be there. We already have 10 confirmed players so it should be a lot of fun!
More info can be found in the members Mess Hall on the forum.:D
Following the success of last weekend's holomatch on Elite Force 1, we'll be hosting yet another match on Friday at 10pm GMT / 5pm EST. Hope you can make it!
I wish I had my own copy of Bridge Commander. I have always heard good things about it from members of the fleet and it looked like you all had a blast.

Same here.. I remember playing it when it first came out but I don't know what I did it with it..
Anyhow.. I will probably just wait for Star Trek Excalibur's release, that game looks amazing! (Article on the game to be released in the next UFP Herald! )
Hey guys. The {UFP} is turning 8 this Saturday so why not join us for a fun filled weekend and week of activities! For more information visit our forums and specific thread here: http://forum.ufplanets.com/showthread.php?p=35054#post35054
Just wanted to drop in and give congratulations on 8 years. That's a hell of a milestone. I look forward to the day when the Fifth Fleet gets to do the same.
Just a little curious here on this fleet, do you guys have ventrillo, and how many active members do you have currently?
We have an active TeamSpeak 3 server that is online 24/7. Our last fully completed roll call in April (May Roll Call just closed, and is still being processed) pegged us at about 113 active members.
As we wrap up our 8 year celebrations, I'd like to thank everyone who participated in the many multi-game events we set up, as well as the feature presentations we watched via the site and TeamSpeak. It was an awesome week, and I look forward to many years to come.
Greetings Talongard.
While it is difficult to keep an accurate headcount at all times, the fleet maintains an active member base of over 100. This includes other Star Trek games we participate in (for a full ST gaming experience), however the vast majority are involved in STO, either primarily or exclusively.
The only requirement for membership remains to be roll call once per month. It's a quick sign in, which will be open for a week. Beyond that, it's as much or as little as you like.

Thank you, Fleet Admiral John Chase!

How many members actively playing STO?
Do you require Vent or any other apps?
Are there any specific requirements for membership not mentioned in this thread (ie dues, required participation in Fleet missions etc)?

We use TeamSpeak 3, and it is populated much of the time: http://www.gametracker.com/server_info/213.175.197.42:9987/
Whether you have a mic or not, we always encourage people to use it anyway.
