    it started at 8:30 central.

    Also I have a few questions:

    1) is this an emergency or brief? Please provide documentation.
    2) is this beta? Please provide support for your argument.

    didn't read all the posts, but read the first few pages.

    People complaining about them taking the servers down during prime time.

    It does say Emergency Maintenance. As in, not scheduled, as in probably not in their control.

    I had to leave for work before the patch but I am looking forward to some game time when I get home at 3am PST. Can anyone confirm there is a new patch tonight?

    I hope it resolves the ship/man in space bug as well as the weapon switching bug... they were both getting annoying today. Otherwise I have enjoyed the new patch so far.

    Edit: ohh yea, how large is the patch?

    Err, no, it doesn't say that anymore. The downtime was quickly retconned from being 'Emergency Maintenance' to 'Brief Maintenance'.

    Yup; just came back on to see if the servers were up. I've had issues playing the past few days; finally reinstalled from scratch and it was smooth as silk; so really wanted to play a bit tonight :)

    Beer...

    Chimay Beer, one of the few beers still being produced by Trapist monks in Belgium. There is nothing quite like it. It's completely unfiltered, I swear, put this stuff in a glass and you can barely see light through it. SO good. :D
