Kael will ask about how hard it might be to add Fed Orions
There's been no serious discussion on an STO switch version
The negative feedback on the Alliance Mudd bundle has already been forwarded to the higher ups, though Kael doesn't think there will be many changes to it.
No current plans for a Gorn character update that Kael is aware of
Tailor options won't be all merged into one category, and usable everywhere, because Cryptic doesn't want people to do things like use bikinis on ESD
Kael has asked about daily log in rewards before. Was told they don't really fit the model of the game
Kael will follow up on twitch drops again, knows there was a reason why they didn't do them originally
Kael doesn't think an STO 2 is on the horizon. If Crypitc were to do another Star Trek game its likely wouldn't be like STO at all
No progress yet on Prodigy permissions
If they ever did a playable Whale Probe it would have to be something like the recent V'ger ship(where its a massively scaled down homage to V'ger)
T7 isn't on the horizon. Kael thinks they're more likely to do more things like experimental ship upgrades to add more power to the ships you already have, rather than make you buy a new tier of ships.
There is some content coming out soon thats going to be more difficult then normal content, but Cryptic is unlikely to do a bunch of super hard content because data shows the game isn't as flooded with "DPS heads" as it might seem
Kael hasn't heard anything about re-engineering warp cores
Cryptic will probably do more legendary ships. There just hasn't been an inspiration for a legendary bundle the last two anniversaries, and they didn't think treating the Terran ships like legendary ships would be a good idea. But they've proven they're something enjoy so they'll likely do more of them.
The Hydra is far away the highest selling ship from the 13th anniv bundle
Incredibly unlikely ships obtained from the event campaign will ever become account unlocks
Kael will ask about Reman captains/Boffs getting access to Fed uniforms
There's always a chance of classic ships coming back with different layouts. Its something Cryptic has discussed in the past, and it's an idea they go back and forth on a lot(someone asked about something like a science Defiant, or an Intrepid destroyer, since Terran ships have different layouts from the prime ones)
Issue with making the recent Fed bridges playable is that they lack a Ready Room, and bridges need one for a mission that sends you there. Cryptic is looking into ways around that issue so they can be made playable
Playable DSC Tellarites are unlikely
Cryptic isn't going to go back and massively revamp older missions to accommodate possible Picard changes, though new missions will likely take changes into account
Kael mentioned to Jonathan about putting agony phaser damage on the Terran Valkyries, and Jonathan was interested in the idea/is looking into it. Though Kael doesn't know if hes actively working on it right now.
It wouldn't be that hard to make mission critical objects(like in TFOs) interactable while under fire, but that isn't the design of those TFOs. You're supposed to have to fight everything to be able to use the mission critical objects.
Unlikely to do more/more frequent PVP endeavors since they know PVP isn't a fun experience for most people so they don't want to promote it that way 🙄
Kael will ask about getting Seven's Rifles from "Measure of Morality" being updated to the use newer, correct, Picard texture/model
No ETA on more Picard Starfleet uniforms at this time
Issue with making the recent Fed bridges playable is that they lack a Ready Room, and bridges need one for a mission that sends you there. Cryptic is looking into ways around that issue so they can be made playable
If this is referring to that one mission from the Romulan Mystery arc, you don't need a ready room - you need the interacts FROM the ready room, which can easily be moved to the actual bridge.
A normie goes "Oh, what's this?"
An otaku goes "UwU, what's this?"
A furry goes "OwO, what's this?"
A werewolf goes "Awoo, what's this?"
"It's nothing personal, I just don't feel like I've gotten to know a person until I've sniffed their crotch." "We said 'no' to Mr. Curiosity. We're not home. Curiosity is not welcome, it is not to be invited in. Curiosity...is bad. It gets you in trouble, it gets you killed, and more importantly...it makes you poor!"

Wasn't it mentioned some time ago that they thought about changing the Gorn to the classic design? I hope they don't consider this however as I am fine with the Gorn from the games timeline looking different from TOS Gorn.
Tailor options won't be all merged into one category, and usable everywhere, because Cryptic doesn't want people to do things like use bikinis on ESD
That's fine, they don't all have to be combined. However, it would be nice if some things were usable in combination with other things. The old MACO outfits for example, the Sphere builder outfit or the new Torchbearer armor.
Kael doesn't think an STO 2 is on the horizon. If Crypitc were to do another Star Trek game its likely wouldn't be like STO at all
I wonder what this means. Would they have preferred to make something different than an MMO? Or would they have liked to make a game that's less combat oriented, but still an MMO?
Or would they have wanted to make something that's of an entirely different genre, like strategic gameplay (thinking of the Armada games here).
T7 isn't on the horizon. Kael thinks they're more likely to do more things like experimental ship upgrades to add more power to the ships you already have, rather than make you buy a new tier of ships.
I'm not sure whether this is good news or bad news.
On the one hand, I think very few people are looking forward to the idea of having to buy all their ships again eventually. So then it's probably better to go with modular upgrades to existing ships. On the other hand, it's also getting quite annoying that whenever you buy a new ship, you have to get additional tokens (and sometimes fleet modules too) before they're fully unlocked.
It's nice that we're getting more options to use all the stuff we've collected over the years - but unfortunately it also means having to spend more on the same ship.

Its something Cryptic has discussed in the past, and it's an idea they go back and forth on a lot(someone asked about something like a science Defiant, or an Intrepid destroyer, since Terran ships have different layouts from the prime ones)
More new, unique ships please, not constant re-doing and remaking of existing ones. It's getting tiresome.
I liked the Terran bundle and the 10th Legendary pack, but right now I have like two or three different T6 versions of an ever larger number of ships (not to mention their T5 equivalents).
At some point it's going to be much harder justifying getting yet another version of what is basically the same ship. If they're going to release even more variants of existing things, they need to think of alternative ways of selling these.
For example: instead of having to buy the same ship again, allow players to change some elements of their ship. So instead of having to buy some new T6 Science Defiant, allow players who already have the Valiant or the Legendary Warship to add a secondary deflector slot or change some Boff seatings for a token. Sell those at prices similar to the T6x upgrade tokens.
I might be crazy enough to keep buying the same ships, but I doubt many other people are. At some point ship sales will likely plummet as many new iterations of the same ship are going to be released. After all, each of them will be less unique as the number of varieties increases.

They don't need to change the Gorn. TOS Gorn cosmetics are already available. I don't remember, but I think having a TOS Fed unlocks TOS Andorian, Tellarite, and Gorn cosmetics. So we already have classic TOS Gorn in game, both as NPCs in appropriate TFOs, and as Player options.

My guess is that the "No current plans for a Gorn character update that Kael is aware of" mention in the latest ten forward is probably about the problem that the TOS Gorn is just the alligator-nosed TOS head stuck on the "STO" style body in place of the crocodile-style "STO" head. That is a problem when using the TOS-Gorn uniform since it shows the knobbly croc-skin instead of the smoother skin of a TOS-style Gorn and people have been mentioning it a lot in the forum and elsewhere lately.
In any case, I seriously doubt that the devs would dump the crocodile-nosed Gorn head no matter what a particular dev thinks of it, especially since another one likes it. Either way, while inertia makes it possible for a single dev to be able to block something from being put in the game because of a personal dislike of that something, taking something out of the game that is already in it is an entirely different matter since it would result in the torches and pitchforks coming out along with the usual spate of rage-quits over it, and needlessly causing a ruckus like that is not good for business.

I can customize a Gorn BOff to look TOS... *shrug*
Also didn't we have an issue with a Dev one time because of the negative feedback given on the Excelsior being a bit too Engie heavy back in the day, and that was his favorite ship?

Hmm, nope, can't have bikinis, too naughty. Take them off, now!

I'm simply concerned about it happening since I don't want to be forced to use the TOS look.
