Nice to see new Boffs being added. Especially since they have somewhat of a mysterious background.
The weapons seem interesting too. I hope they won't outperform existing weapons too much though, cause then I'd have to think hard of reasons not to replace what I already have.
"It was this terrible, alternate world that Picard and his friends were thrust into in season 3 of Star Trek: Picard"
Small typo, I believe that should be season 2?
Content looks nice and well designed but it feels like a small new lockbox. Not much content in this box?

A ship, new weapons, new kit modules, new weapons. Seems like the amount of new things we get in most boxes to me. The only thing missing is traits but those were added to the Lobi store instead the last couple of times anyway.
And we get some new Boffs, which has only happened once before so that's a bit special too.

I wonder what those boffs do if anything. Cosmetic only going by the blog.
It says they'll be added to the Boff roster. I assume they will behave like all other boffs.
Which means forgetting how a door works, not showing up for work itself on the bridge and be subject to some weird temporal mechanics that causes them to break the cause-effect relation of power activation and cooldown initation.

I might pick up a set of those phasers, and I am gonna get that rifle. Now if only we knew if that badge unlocked a cosmetic as well...
I can't take it anymore! Could everyone just chill out for two seconds before something CRAZY happens again?!

I hadn't even read that part as I assumed it was just a cosmetic thing.
But now I'm very interested. A device that basically allows the player to add another weapon - if only to replace the palm strike or rifle butt of regular weapons.
If they can do this, then hopefully they can apply this technique to other melee weapons as well. Looks like we can then finally get that third melee weapon slot I've been hoping we'd get someday.

If the badge isn't available as a uniform badge option. That pretty much makes the one thing I want from this lockbox a pass. Confederation uniforms would have been nice.
Maybe I'll get lucky and the stardrive section will be bugged on release where it ends up completely invisible - then I can slap a black/red vanity on it and call it the Peace through Power - because TRIBBLE if the saucer doesn't look like a NOD Banshee.
Also, please tell me the emitter hardpoints for DHCs are actually at those cannons in the saucer.
A normie goes "Oh, what's this?"
An otaku goes "UwU, what's this?"
A furry goes "OwO, what's this?"
A werewolf goes "Awoo, what's this?"
"It's nothing personal, I just don't feel like I've gotten to know a person until I've sniffed their crotch." "We said 'no' to Mr. Curiosity. We're not home. Curiosity is not welcome, it is not to be invited in. Curiosity...is bad. It gets you in trouble, it gets you killed, and more importantly...it makes you poor!"
Passion and Serenity are one.
I gain power by understanding both.
In the chaos of their battle, I bring order.
I am a shadow, darkness born from light.
The Force is united within me.

The saucer also looks a bit like a Cylon Raider from BSG though it is a lot bigger and is missing the whole canopy section. I hope those big visible guns are used by cannons or whatever too.

If they really are Boffs? Ground and space skills performed by those two felines? I'm entertained by the thought.
Why not? Isis had psionic abilities and was quite intelligent. A lot of the boff ground skills could be done by a cat with telekinesis and telepathy (and possibly other abilities) without much problem.

Also missing a universal console of some sort and DOff assignments have been fairly common too the past several lockboxes as well. There was a camo vanity shield (pattern seen on Confederate La Sirena) shown during the Livestream, so the missing stuff could just be omissions to the blog, but could be in the box itself.

There probably is a Vanity Shield. They showed an interesting one during the livestream that looked a bit like a camo pattern.
