I see only three characters, and we've seen them all before.
Janeway has never been in-game before. Mentioned, but not in-game.
Ah, OK, I was not making the distinction between "mentioned" and "in-game".
It still doesn't seem like much of a spoiler to me. I think you're splitting hairs.

That would be the opposite of prime universe Janeway who had such lines as "time to take out the trash; fire photon torpedoes".

Before this we only had one on screen Captain, with Jason Issacs reprising the role of Captain Lorca. Spock is a bit of a gray area because we don't see him as Captain Spock in his WoK uniform, but as Commander Spock in the TOS uniform. Scotty technically counts but he was never the Captain of a starship. He just held the rank of Captain. (Reason he technically counts is he wore his engie vest even as a Captain).
But now... we got one of the Big 5 Captains. Many believed that they were out of STO's budget.
Kirk - Previous falling out with some Cryptic Devs. No interest.
Picard - Certainly out of budget unless a deal can be made.

Sisko - No interest as far as ANYONE knows.
Janeway - Now in STO
Archer - no real way to bring in at this time.
Glad we get to see at least one of the Big 5 in game...before the world ends. lol

Truth to tell, Harry Kim's life under kindly grandmotherly Mirror Janeway is probably much much worse. Not that Harry Kim's life could ever be viewed as "better" in any possible reality. I look forward to the day Grand High Admiral of the Fleet His Eminence Nog gets to hand Ensign Kim his retirement papers. Or simply has him buried alive with Janeway like an Egyptian Funeral relic.

Harry Kim is likely the Captain's Man for Mirror Janeway. Poor Harry. *shudders*

Interesting emperor's prize.
Makes you think how this will be tied in. Given the history of the actor it is unlikely that Will Decker is incoming,
This program, though reasonably normal at times, seems to have a strong affinity to classes belonging to the Cat 2.0 program. Questerius 2.7 will break down on occasion, resulting in garbage and nonsense messages whenever it occurs. Usually a hard reboot or pulling the plug solves the problem when that happens.

Oh Gods! I've figured out the plot! Harry is actually the Mirror Emperor! It would explain so much. Including why he wants the "Object" from Jupiter Station. /shudder.
y'know this theory somehow gets much worse if we believe the longstanding fan rumor that Wesley Crusher is the Emperor. (at least it's canon that the "object" is washable.)
Ok Cryptic some honest feedback. Overall the new Mission is great. The environment is fantastic. It’s fun even for a “not your character/ship” mission. Although as always, it would have been more fun with our own characters and abilities. Which also adds replay value as each character and ship is a different experience. This is the core flaw in missions like this or the accursed Knowledge is Power. There is no ability for the players to change it up with a different character, different build/gear, etc. It’s a great mission. But it’s a static mission. It will forever be exactly the same experience for the player. Sometimes it works well, such as Quark’s Lucky Seven, sometimes not, as in KiP. But because of how static it is, it’s a dynamic that should be used sparingly.
And speaking of things that should be used sparingly… the ROBOT VOICE. Can we put this trick back in the ol’ developers toolchest. Preferably bottom drawer, way in the back, behind some rotting lunch bags, never to be spoken of or by again?
Here's hoping that procedural voices take some major steps forward over the next couple years, such that you can feed a 'speech engine' any line of text and have it spoken in just about anybody's voice (that you have the license to use) and performance style. Sir Patrick Stewart riffing it Kirk style!
Oh, the naivete. XP
Combine this with improved deep fakes and you can welcome the true post-truth dystopian era.
That said, I'm pretty sure the voice of that character wasn't a procedural voice anyway. Way too clean and natural.
As for the mission, I enjoyed it, most of it is great, if simple gameplay-wise and there are some serious implications regarding both the reveal and Mirror!Janeway's backstory.
Now, to go and see how they retroactively added Janeway in the Delta Quadrant arc.
Would have been a nice idea to put DQ missions in the list of things that give anniversary tokens. You know, as encouragement to see improved stuff.
EDIT: OK, so she just replaces Burgess so far (and the texts haven't been fully updated to her new dialogue, of course).
But once again, seeing such great, detailed environments that will not be accessible for players via a bridge or a HUB, is always so disappointing, and we still haven't seen the 2411 ship interior Nick was working on.

Personally, I thought it was a clever way to take care of the problem of voicing a character who could be of any playable species and gender. Too many options for an automated system to realistically handle.
My only issue with the robotic voice is that you'd expect in the 25th century, they'd have solved that to make it sound natural and not robotic.
But well, it's obvious why they chose it and you can always pretend they once managed to create good procedural voice systems like we're close to, before it ticked off the wrong people in charge and the tech was banned and destroyed while anyone using it was executed.
Admiral Leta? Thought she married Rom and is wife of the current grand negus? Or you mean Mirror Leta... didnt know your rank transfers over from the Mirror Universe... she is a civilian at best... criminal/terrorist at worse. Unless the Fed just accepted her and give her the rank... which is BS.

That's why they did that. And also the title instead of a name or even a rank. And I'm now dying to know what role that title "Inquisitor" is for. Emperor's personal operative/hit-man? Or something more formal and structured? Enforcer of ideological purity or something?

Well, it's not my cup of tea, but it will make some people happy, and one should not examine the dentition of complimentary equines.
Perhaps I'm being dense, but what is the spoiler?
No clue what you're talking about. I see only three characters, and we've seen them all before.
My only complaint is that the patch server is taking bloody FOREVER to download the tribbling patch.

I would definitely recommend investing in some glasses. Despite the cost, you will enjoy the game a lot more when you can actually see it
