Nothing for the KDF, you know in the Year of the Klingon.
The Year of the Klingon has been the biggest disappointment so far. Still no Legendary Klingon ships, no new content, and the remastered content is still fairly bugged.
So when should we be expecting the Mirror BoP and Mirror B7 given that this is the Year of the Klingon and the entire story currently is supposed to be about Klingons...except when we can't be bothered with that.
Nothing for the KDF, you know in the Year of the Klingon.
Again, we have had Year of Klingon Part 1 and now comes Year of Klingon Part 2, tomorrow. The Year of Klingon is not over yet. It is not exclusively Klingon as a blog post pointed out, involves revamps of Klingon content, Klingon assets for male and female characters, and Klingon environments. Please read it.

Again, the Year of Klingon is not over yet. We have had Part 1, now Part 2 tomorrow, and anything else after that. So until it is, then you can cast an appropriate judgment on it. The Legendary Klingon ships will come. I do not know what you mean by new content, please specify. Finally, what remastered comment for Klingons is still bugged?
With all that said, yes it is the Lobi Store, Kael, and not the Lobo store. Awoo! For those who want more Enterprise content in the game you got your wish.

If in 9 months you can churn out a few fed ships, there was time for a Klingon one. Throwing in some costumes and missions doesn't really make it year of anything. It'd be like throwing in a new shuttle for the KDF, while having a 3 pack of T7 flagships for feds....which I probably just gave them a new idea.
Every time anyone criticizes the fact that the YoK has been little more than a slide in a powerpoint of yearly releases, the Cryptic Defense Force jumps to their defense on the forums. It isn't bad to have criticism of decisions. It doesn't make the releases we have had bad. Though, constantly replacing one ship with the next one in a lottery scam is going to lead to regulation.
This program, though reasonably normal at times, seems to have a strong affinity to classes belonging to the Cat 2.0 program. Questerius 2.7 will break down on occasion, resulting in garbage and nonsense messages whenever it occurs. Usually a hard reboot or pulling the plug solves the problem when that happens.
Every time anyone criticizes the fact that the YoK has been little more than a slide in a powerpoint of yearly releases
Well, it literally hasn't. So far we have gotten
-Revamped B'rel, K't'inga, Vor'cha, Negh"Var, and D7, textures
-Revamps to the tutorial, Empire, and Warzone, arcs
-Revamps to the Khitomer, First City, and Rura Penthe maps
-Revamped Klingon uniform
-New hair, ridges, face tints, and presents, for Klingon character creation
-Revamps to the appearances of pretty much every major Klingon NPC in the game
-Lady Sirella has been given VA work by her actual actress from the show
-Three new Klingon focused missions
-A new Klingon focused TFO
And we still have another third part with further revamps/new missions coming, and Cryptic has already suggested that there will be something similar to a recruitment event for Klingons once all the revamped missions are done.
All substantive gameplay content for like a year is/will be Klingon focused, in what is easily the single biggest targeted revamp pass the game has had.... but apparently that isn't enough for some people.
I tried coming up with some justification for why people are complaining but couldn't think of anything. The revamped maps and ships alone are a good enough update. Then you include the revamp to the story arcs and the tutorial, including new voice overs, new character models, and new cutscenes. Just because something isn't "new new", e.g. a new fleet holding or reputation, doesn't mean it's any less of an update. I thought people wanted old content to get revamped?
No thanks HARD PASS ON THIS now if you released a T6 Nova/Steam Runner/Saber/Norway/K'vort a Yesterdays Enterprise Battleship Galaxy Class I'd break my current give Cryptic no money due to the TRIBBLE performance of your game rule
So we get ANOTHER variant of the Constitution class... Don't we already have 4 or 5 of those, with at least 3 of them being T6?
This is also another ship with TWO commander seats. We not have three such ships, none of them are science oriented, and none of them seem to be very popular.
I am surprised they are adding a new space set to the lobi store. I am not surprised it is yet another tactical oriented set. When was the last time they added science themed gear to the lobi store? I also don't see why any captain would put enterprise era gear on their state-of-the-art modern ship. It's like putting a Model T engine in a brand new Mustang.
For me it is a HARD PASS because I do not like the Constitution class, tactical oriented content/gizmos, or technology that is over 200 years old.
When activated, this console generates a naturally closing, smaller version of the Interphasic Rift that doomed the U.S.S. Defiant and sent it to the Mirror Universe.
That's totally not gonna backfire on our rumps in the future. "Captain, the Rift worked too well, we just sent this Iconian Dreadnought into the Mirror Universe's 24th century."
these special torpedoes deal extra damage when hitting empty shield facings.
That's kinda the point of torpedoes in general.
This weapon can be fired continuously, drilling through any target. It can also be overloaded and kicked at your target in extreme situations.
Just for that, I'm gonna get it.
"-Captain, that's the 47th phase pistol replica you've blown up today, do you know how much those cost to replicate and transport in your hands?
-Don't care! Freaking worth it!"
Since I can't seem to quote, as far as the issues with 'Year of the Klingon', it feels to me as stemming from the 'Age/X of Discovery' expansion-over-time. Where, not only did Discovery have the equivalent of the new revamped mission content, most of the ship releases were basically dedicated to Discovery (and 25C revamps if Fed) ships, particularly C-Store. Additionally, we had far more C-Store KDF ships than the whopping one we've had so far, even if they were mostly ugly pre-unification Klingon designs.
One minor quality of life thing. Please make sure infinity boxes are available in the dilithium store again and not only the zen store like the late angel's wake box. From the former you could get a full stack of 9,999 boxes with a single interact the other yields 20 each with a shiny nice 'you have to wait before you can buy this again' between clicks.
@ambassadorkael#6946@borticuscryptic
In addition to the questions above, will the trait and console be added to the "Infinity Prize Pack: Starship Trait" and "Infinity Prize Pack: Cross-Faction or Salvaged Console" respectively for KDF/-aligned characters, like it was for the Mirror Engle Strike Wing Escort?

That has been standard operating procedure for all faction locked stuff. For the faction that doesn't get the ship, they get cheeper gear packs associated with said ship. That's why KDF has such easier access to Superior Area Denial.
I can't take it anymore! Could everyone just chill out for two seconds before something CRAZY happens again?!

Except, you know, Klingons finally got their T6 Vo'quv, something they have been asking for since forever.
While simultaneously making three other T6 carriers. So it isn't so much of giving the Klingon side as much as what they asked for as to finally making a faction wide ship release. I wouldn't call it as much as listening as trying to churn out everything. Now, if you want to actually listen, that T6 Karfi would have been along already.

How nice, a bunch of content you'll run into if you decide to replay things..with the exception of seeing those ships in queues.
To go with another Romulan/Fed fight at Mars, recycled Hell with Honor, and probably yet another bugged TRIBBLE set of dil boxes that people still have filling up their inventory because they're bugged and can't be opened.
All substantive gameplay content for like a year is/will be Klingon focused, in what is easily the single biggest targeted revamp pass the game has had.... but apparently that isn't enough for some people.
Well that's what we all want is a revamp of old junk, while the new stuff isn't for the supposed theme that is going on. But hey, at least we have the next iteration of the same ship for the lockbox lottery that was once swore we'd never have. Call us when we have Klingons and Gorn flying the Connie around.
And Kudos to all those acting like we've slain your heroes who are hard at work. You really should form the Cryptic Defense Force in game. Though, it'd almost certainly have to be fed sided.

Will you guys stop it already?
Year of Klingon does NOT mean dead stop to anything that isn't Klingon Only!
Its been pointed out how many times now just how much is being done FOR Klingons, only to have you guys turn around and slap it away as if its some big insult the second a promo or lockbox thing is revealed!
You got a T6 Vo'Quv, which has been requested since at least the Fed Jupiter, and you turn around and say its only a token offering because it wasn't a solo release, therefor means nothing.
You get revamped story arcs, and you turn around and complain because you're already passed that point in the story.
You get a whole CURRENTKlingon centric story arc, and you turn around and slap it away like it doesn't matter since its cross faction content.
You get revamps to customization options for Klingons, which I should point out was not as diverse as most races, and you ignore it!
WHAT THE HELL DO YOU EXPECT? A total shutdown of anything that isn't Klingon? A story arc that can only be played by Klingons at endgame?
Seriously guys... Klingons are getting LOTS of things this year... but its clearly not enough based on the fact the rants about being lied to come up every chance you get!
WHAT THE FRAK DO YOU WANT THEN?!
Now... I'm usually the reasonable one on the forums... but seriously... the ranting is driving me up a wall!
I can't take it anymore! Could everyone just chill out for two seconds before something CRAZY happens again?!

The ship's 2 Commander BOFF seating is appealing & stats seem decent. Terrible shielding but not sure shields matter anymore. A bit surprised Cryptic didn't swing for the fences yet again by placing it in Promo Pack.
The Lobi items look cool, just burned-out on all the gambling stuff let alone Lobi is costly & only for 1 character, not a good value imo.
Much of this announcement seems to be a recycling of features with new paint-jobs. Yay, yet another Federation heavy offering.
For the record I don't consider a new skin/look for an item, ship ground-weapon or anything, a revamped item. Add some new abilities &/or functions to it along with the new look then a revamp should be mentioned.

so we're renaming the lobi store to the spanish word for wolf?
because i thoroughly approve

Does this ship come at Tier 6, requiring a token to gain the '-X' or is it Tier 6-X already? Edit: Tier 6, unless the blog is wrong.
For all we know there's going to be a Klingon-specific Lockbox after the this run of Infinity Lockboxes is over.
Are we going to get Phase weapons too? Or is it just the Lobi weapons?
