So I was wandering about my Fleet base earlier and something caught my eye that I thought was a graphics glitch. I was checking out the uniform mannequins, and what I though was some artifacting, As I examined closer, I noticed they were all BLINKING!!! Was sooooo freaked out that a Doctor Who villain made it in-game!!
What has been your freakiest in-game moment??
"You don't want to patrol!? You don't want to escort!? You don't want to defend the Federation's Starbases!? Then why are you flying my Starships!? If you were a Klingon you'd be killed on the spot, but lucky for you.....you WERE in Starfleet. Let's see how New Zealand Penal Colony suits you." Adm A. Necheyev.
STO doesn't have much in the way of scary content. Only thing that comes to mind is the Drozana mission everyone's already mentioned with the hologram.
As for Star Trek TV shows, I can't think of anything scary except for the TNG episode with the parasites trying to take over Starfleet, what STO calls "Bluegills." The episode had a lot of creepiness to it and AFAIK, TNG never took it further. Heck, the end of the episode "Conspiracy" was quite graphic for Star Trek fare.
This program, though reasonably normal at times, seems to have a strong affinity to classes belonging to the Cat 2.0 program. Questerius 2.7 will break down on occasion, resulting in garbage and nonsense messages whenever it occurs. Usually a hard reboot or pulling the plug solves the problem when that happens.
I don't know, "What Lies Beneath" was much creepier with the original voice actor for Gein. The new one just doesn't have the same effect.

The Force is united within me.
The completely naked pink Gorn or Reman I've been seeing on Drozana lately. I have no idea how they do it but for some reason they're buck naked. Not pants colored like skin, really skin texture ken doll stuff. It's rather creepy yet makes ya go "hmmm?" as to how they did it.
Other players making adult innuendos towards your female character is kinda creepy or sad or both

I find it rather sad that humans will do this to a bunch of colored pixels.
It gets even more sad when you have species like my main's that are 100% player inventions thus there's no "real"(aka played by a real life actor who actually exists) version of them.
granted all character's are just pixels but at least with canon races you do actually have "real" version of them rather them.
That said I find that mostly sad if done seriously as long as the character in question looks like they're "of age".

Just a bunch of folks hanging out, chatting and dancing. I'm there often myself. o.o
LOL. You just won the Internet for today!
Fully agreed.
EDIT:the creepiest thing l found in-game was some questionable character's some people have tried with the alien character creator and the swimsuits.
Creepy in a registered [TRIBBLE] offender sort of way
Now I just need to find out what a "tribble offender" is and why those get registered
