Greetings, I was wondering/hoping/asking for a
Purchasable T6 Exeter class cruiser. People atleast seem to like the Constitution class ship, but everytime you put one out its in a lockbox. It would be ok if it were possible to actually win one, but it seems only the same ppl win those things repeatedly. How about you finally place one in the Zen store for us unlucky many that may want one but haven't been able to win it. Thanks for reading this
Remember, getting mad at me and taking it out on your keyboard.... just means you need a new keyboard

Not true.
Also, anyone can get a Connie by buying from the Exchange, with Energy Credits.
You can grind millions of credits through admiralty and personal endeavors. You can get the rest by buying lock box keys and promo (not regular!) R&D boxes for zen and then selling them on the exchange for credits. You can get some of that zen by selling refined dil on the exchange.
100% success rate, no gambling at all, everyone with the credits wins every time.
I don't think that's accurate. The whole "CBS" thing goes back to the connie being an end game ship. CBS supposedly said no to that, and that has obviously changed. However I don't think I have ever seen any "real" quote from a dev stating that CBS said connies cannot be sold in the store. If anyone thinks they have such a quote, feel free to post it though.

Also, it seems like the same few people who always seem to win a T6 Constitution probably because most players don't have the money to throw away in order to get one. Either real money or EC, it ain't exactly cheap either way.
This incident almost brought down CBS.

how do you figure the same people win every time? I got lucky twice, so my AOY toon flies a connie and my klink flies a D7, the best design ever put on the screen, IMHO.
Well, the game prompts saying "Such and such@Such and such" won a t6 infinite ship prize, I see several names appear many times.
I won it twice, and didnt invested millions, i exchanged one with the Durgath, so... i just got lucky sometimes..
Is there not enough TOS inspired tra.. err ships around with the whole AoY series of ships.
It's true that you can get 3 different TOS-inspired designs in the C-Store by buying the T2-T5 ships that match the T6 versions, total cost 3,750 - 5,000 zen normal prices, 20-50% less on sale.

I have those notifications turned off.
The Ranger was a good design. Also I believe you mean 4 designs.
Also... the Discovery ships can use TOS hull materials so you can go that way too if you like the look of those ships as well. I think since my main has the NX Refit, I also have access to the NX materials as well... might have to experiment with that.
The TOS hull material does not really help the Discoprise much for those who want the TOS version, it is still clunky and off looking compared to the original since the DSC designers are either unaware of the golden ratios the ship was designed with or chose to make it clunky and unflowing on purpose. And the weird proportions just seem to distort the skin instead of the skin helping to make the proportions flow better.
Everything from the proportions to the angles and curves are hit and miss, none of it has the organic flow of the original, which had a smoothly finished spiral-segment golden-ratio based Googie influence rather than the bare metal circle-segment and square semi-Brutalist style influence of DSC. I am not saying the Discoprise looks bad in of itself (it has a kind of no-nonsense retro-industrial feel which fits the grimmer tone of DSC for instance), rather that the style difference is a lot more than some people seem to think and the two are not really particularly compatible aesthetically.
And by the way, Smoke had the Comic Book Guy stuff. I trademarked the CBGC©®™ (Comic Book Guy Consortium). Please respect the Copyright.

1.2 - 1.4 billion to be accurate.
If you want to pay cash, it will be around $175, more or less depending on whether or not you buy zen while it is on sale, and whether or not you buy keys or promo R&D packs and then hold them for a couple of weeks to let the exchange prices for the keys/packs go back up again. You can reduce the cash amount by as much as you have patience for grinding EC and dil by playing the game.
Cheap? No. Worth it? That's up to you.
I haven't gotten a Connie yet myself, but I own the Tholian, Herald, Xindi sets and a few other random lock box and lobi ships. It took years to build my armada though. If you want it now, open your wallet.
I have seen MY name appear and I have never won anything from a lockbox or rd pack
Your time is likely best spent following one of those guides, rather than waiting for CBS/Cryptic to have a change of heart.
The Atlas is a pretty good looking ship. Not only that... its the Granddaddy of the Command Battlecruisers too!
