No problem. If you look under Reward Packs on the Exchange you can find almost anything from lock boxes and the lobi store that isn't account bind on pickup for sale for energy credits.
Under ship weapons you can find beams, cannons, torpedoes from lock boxes. Kits under kits, ground weapons under personal equipment, etc.
If you want something specific like an emitter linked Phaser beam array it can be cheaper to get one from the exchange than to open infinity boxes and hope you get a weapon choice pack. You can even find weapons that are still mark II so you get more cheap chances at a quality upgrade while leveling them up.
I replaced the Kelvin Photon on my Discovery Constitution with the Altimid Kelvin Photon. I use the Altimid Omni and Console on that Ship's Plasma build (for Endeavors).

Simple solution to the end game Connie in the C-Store. Make it a T5 or T5U with no specialization. They already have three versions (Command (Kelvin), Miracle Worker (Disco) and Temporal (TOS)). There's no in-game lore context for an Intel version, or a Pilot version. A T5 Connie would just have the Exeter skins as standard since its a 25th Century design with the option for TOS if you have the T1 version. Or maybe an updated Exeter skin with option for normal Exeter. As far as features...
4 weapons fore and aft,
2 science consoles
4 Engineering
3 Tactical
Special console can be an updated or faster version of the Emission-seeking torpedo. (Or somekind of Bioweapon since the crew's namesake were killed by one but Starfleet Command might frown on the use of such weapons.)

Why would Cryptic want to give up mountains of cash to do that?
R&D pack Connies help power the servers, pay the salaries, get Trek actors into the game.
I was bored tonight and just a min ago i saw that R and D boxes were on sale. I had 6200 zen saved up from my 500 a month lifetime stipend so I said what the hell. I bought a bunch of boxes and actually got a T6 ship pack on about the 20th box. I had been wanting a T6 connie for so long but refused to spend insane cash to get one, nor did I see it as valuable enough to drop 1.5billion on.
Now I just need to decide which of my toons to use it on, my main who has 1 of all the enterprises minus the connie outside of my T1-2 placeholders. Or use it on my TOS toon she currently uses a Vengeance class.
My suggestion for you, save credits to buy one. The odds of pulling one out of a box are very low, only reason I even did it myself is because it cost me $0. They have made it pretty clear over the years that they will never give us a T6 zen store connie of any variation.
