Not going to bother. I could farm enough dilithium in a couple weeks to acquire a T6 ship if I really wanted. Not going to waste my time doing bs missions for few months to get a free one. I suppose this is good for the idiots that don't know how to accumulate resources in this game.
Well, if you play the Featured Episode you Coupon progress Tokens anyway so why not participate.
It's probably the duration of two featured episodes and the little bit of extra on those two 14-day FE runs (for me on newish little developed characters) is IMO just icing on the cake.
If I like the featured episode I will play it, but If I don't I wont. I'm just not enticed at all by a free ship that I would have to play months to get when I could get it other ways in 1/3 the time. Like I first said. This is great for people that don't have the knowledge or means to farm the resources.
That's where I am too.. if I am having fun playing the content, then I will gladly take the additional ship as a free bonus.
If something comes out that I really want or 'must have,' I have more then enough Dilithium saved up to convert and get what I want. I have most of the ships available in the C-Store already and have been getting them this way for years. Still, I am not going to turn my nose up at something that I can get free for simply playing the game every day.
I think I currently own all Tier 6 C-Store ships, so it will probably be a yet unreleased ship. (Assuming I earn enough tokens).
But if future ships are still in bundles, I'll probably just buy the bundle.

When I heard about the coupon idea, I thought, great, sounds like an interesting deal! I played the TFO once, I couldn't persuade myself to do it again, I just can't... I just can't be baited anymore into content that doesn't actually excite me or find fun. Sure it's easy, but just a timegated borefest. I remember when we got new things actually exciting like the breach, now THAT was an interesting space mission that didn't feel below generic foundry (Rest in peace, it did have some great ones) space mission quality.
I'm afraid the coupons may be some thinly veiled form of desperation to keep up the metrics after pulling the foundry. "You will play this TFO for coupon" That Jedi mind trick won't work on me.
90% sure at this point it'll be the Scryer intel science vessel. I'm not sure if I'll actually use the ship or not (seating is a little on the not-so-good side), but the mastery trait will be super useful for both of my science/exotic damage characters.
A large part of me wants to get the T6 version of my Siggy ship, however what I will likely do is grab whatever cross faction ship looks good when the time comes. Might as well get something that all my toons can use.
Is it still the case that you break ship bundles if you buy one of the ships separately?
If so, seems like you really need to think about whether you want any of the other ships in a bundle, otherwise, you're going to be left buying the others individually.
Seems like either the Europa or Vor'ral Battlecruiser (mostly for the trait History Will Remember as a poor man's substitute for Honored Dead from the very expensive Sarcophagus Dreadnought). The latter only comes in a two pack anyway.
I have no specifics in mind. I’m usually a collector of canon ships occasionally I go for specific traits if I find it useful for a build.
But currentl I think I got all need.
At this time I would either pick up the Shepard class in form of the Gagarin Miracle Worker Battlecruiser or the “All Good things...” refit of the Galaxy in form of the Yamato Dreadnought Cruiser.
However maybe until I complete that coupon we could gain access to a Cardenas class vessel or even the Discovery Constitution. Those two would take priority simply for their aesthetics no matter their stats.
Obviously depends whether either of these are actually Zen Store ships or not…
Actually the start of this coupon thing makes me doubt the Discovery Constitution will be Zen Store because I imagine it to be a rather desired vessel and shops usually do not give their best steed away for free…

Unfortunately ships in the New Items section of the Zen store are excluded. So no Gagarin or its Klingon counterpart.
This program, though reasonably normal at times, seems to have a strong affinity to classes belonging to the Cat 2.0 program. Questerius 2.7 will break down on occasion, resulting in garbage and nonsense messages whenever it occurs. Usually a hard reboot or pulling the plug solves the problem when that happens.

It's not supposed to do that anymore.
But in any case, buying the bundle later would mean the coupon was wasted. I'm definitely going to look for an un-bundled ship.
I'm actually really leaning to the Chimesh Andorian ship, for the megawell trait.
Not that it won't get used after acquiring the trait, I do have a few tacs who might like it. Yes, I know it's part of a bundle, but it's doubtful I'll get the other two as my funds are limited.
Now a LTS and loving it.
Just because you spend money on this game, it does not entitle you to be a jerk if things don't go your way.
I have come to the conclusion that I have a memory like Etch-A-Sketch. I shake my head and forget everything.
nothing that is in a bundle/pack... no discount for owning a ship in a bundle. if I later decide to buy a bundle I am basically paying more for less. So standalone releases... or KDF ship from a bundle where I got a Fed freebie from one of their email giveaways, if that applies.
Otherwise the Fed T6 Carrier is probably the default choice.
By the time you get the coupon the Gregarin won't be in the New Tab.

Probably the Science Federation pilot escort or the Europa. They're two ships I likely wouldn't get otherwise. I'm quite happy to buy ships I'm interested in with zen.

Per the livestream, every T6 ship CURRENTLY in the C-Store is eligible. The only ones on the blacklist are ones that have yet to be released.

I'm wavering between several right now. The Dauntless, the Arbiter and the Nautilus. Also maybe a Pathfinder.
The Arbiter has one of the best traits in the whole game, worth the purchase.
That one's been on my list for a long time, I'm also leaning FED science vessel with the split between the two being about 50/50. If I go for sci, it'll probably be one of the T6 Vestas but nothing's been jumping out at me RE. traits (probably settle on the one with best configuration for intended build.)

hmm hopefully by the time we get the coupon there will be a new Romulan ship to fly. Might get the Rom Tac MW cruiser, Nautilus is the only AOY ship Im missing so that has a chance as well as the Kolasi siege destroyer looks really cool.
You really should get the nautilus, it's quite a good science ship even tactical toons can do some damage with it if you are into using science ships on tactical toons.

If that is correct then the information in the game is not.
If you hover over the amount of coupons in the reputation tab, the popup says "Some exclusions may apply. Ships found in the new items section of the zen store cannot be purchased with this ticket".
So either the info from the live stream is incorrect or the ingame information.

You forget, by the time anyone can earn the ticket those ships would have fallen out of the new tab.
That is only by assuming that new ships will be added shortly and that this will mean that the Gagarin and its Klingon Counterpart are moved out of the new items section. Neither is certain.
When we look at a two month time span this would place any new released ship in the summer and i don't recall any new ship release (other than the summer event ships ) during the summer.
Either way, some clarification would be most appreciated.
