Point 2: the Disco connie has a gold deflector, not a glowing blue deflector, meaning the Disco vanity skin doesn't work.
Point 3: the connie refit pylons are the closest match to the official pic from CBS, not the Exeter pylons.
Of course, IMHO using what you personally like best sometimes trumps accuracy
Still feel that the Exeter saucer fits better because of the impulse block/bridge arrangment and 'flatter' bridge dome.
I understand. For me the choice is between overall silhouette vs specific details. IMO the silhouette of the kitbash with the TOS saucer is closer in proportional size to the "Discoprise" than having an overly large saucer. But as you said, if you focus on specific details rather than overall size and proportion the Exeter saucer is more similar in certain aspects. It's like I said earlier, sometimes just liking how something looks trumps accuracy
Nice shot @reyan01 . But it also displays one of STOs more annoying issues: The Crossfield class has some swirly nonsensical effect on the engines (probably the Bozeman ones?) which ruins the whole shot

Well there are other factors, but I won't nitpick them.

I wasn't criticizing the screenshot itself at all. I was just riffing on STOs unnecessary effect fireworks even going of when nothing happens 😁

The first pic is from the game Adversaries, the second pic is official CBS art supplied to Eaglemoss, and the 2nd and 3rd pics are in game models.
Here is a gameprint view for comparison:

Point 1: the TOS saucer is the only saucer that is the correct size in proportion to the ship. The Exeter saucer is much too big in proportion to the body of the ship.
Point 2: the Disco connie has a gold deflector, not a glowing blue deflector, meaning the Disco vanity skin doesn't work.
Point 3: the connie refit pylons are the closest match to the official pic from CBS, not the Exeter pylons.

Just can't afford a Temporal Connie.
