The Founder's Homeworld is under attack by the Hur'q. To end this threat once and for all, Captains on PC will need to go Home. New Featured Episode June 28th.
"Home will be available to all players level 10 and above on June 28th. You must complete Tenebris Torquent to play this episode." How can L10 complete Tenebris Torpuent before they can play the featured Ep?
I've been so busy doing other things I still haven't finished the other Gamma Quadrant missions... In fact, I've only done the first two (after the Dom Tutorial). I've got The Search queued-up. Looks like I'll be cramming over the next few days so I can participate with the featured ep run. Oh what an embarrassment of riches! LOL
Cool to hear we're already getting another mission. No complaint or negative jab intended, but why do I get the feeling this was supposed to be included at launch, but just wasn't quite ready to go, so it's being tacked-on here a few weeks late? If so, glad it finally arrived at the party!
Or is this the sign of things to come? I'll be curious to see if we start getting a mission-a-month to further draw out the Expansion. I mean, imagine if we really are getting a more closer-to-LoR-sized expansion, but they just want to stretch it out over time? That would be amazing! Doubtful. But a boy can dream! LOL
So great. A new story mission. What's the word on Risa and my Summer Event?
You can find/contact me in game as @PatricianVetinari. Playing STO since Feb 2010.
A new featured episode already? Cool! Thanks, looking forward to it.
Don't let them promote you. Don't let them transfer you. Don't let them do anything that takes you off the bridge of that ship, because while you're there... you can make a difference.

Valid point. Either logic has failed or copy & paste failed.
Nevertheless, nice to have a featured episode already added & I look forward to it.

Given how Tenebris Torquent ended (kind of a cliffhanger), I think this was intended to be released later.
So the Tzenkethi admiral WAS the Female Changeling all along...now the questions become: when was he replaced, how long ago was it, and what (if anything) do the Tzenkethi do when they find out?
I also think that Dukan'Rex's scan of the Female Changeling's remains at the end of Tenebris Torquent is going to come into play here. As funny as it would have been to have her killed by something she brought upon herself, I'm not sure we've seen the last of her. One also wonders how the rest of the Founders will react when they find out about her actions millennia ago.
#VictorIsLife Episodes are the third best thing to happen to this game after DesperateTrill (1) and that last scene of the mission Survivor (2). It's really taken the game to a whole new level, and makes me very excited about the quality level of potential future TNG related content, or simply looking for quirks and eastereggs in new missions.
New info... guess this is not a "real" featured episode since low level toons can NOT play... more like content that was delayed due to not being ready by launch.
"Home will be available to all players who have completed Tenebris Rorquent (Romulan players must have selected a faction) on June 28th. Home will be a featured episode."
I have no idea why they even bother with the romulan player bit... in order to play Tenebris Rorquent you have to have already picked a faction. /duh
Sorry but every previous featured ep was open to low level players. Should just say it's a new episode with weekly account bonuses for playing it that week.

THAT is a good question.

I wonder which dominion 4 piece set will be rewarded.
JH Space and ground sets are already there and the newest rep covers weapons and modules.
This program, though reasonably normal at times, seems to have a strong affinity to classes belonging to the Cat 2.0 program. Questerius 2.7 will break down on occasion, resulting in garbage and nonsense messages whenever it occurs. Usually a hard reboot or pulling the plug solves the problem when that happens.
Will I be able to return a defeated Changeling to it's natural habitat, rather than turning it over to Security?
I laughed soooooo hard doing that as a Jem'hadar, after the mirror universe mission...
Well, to be fair, wasn't there a bit of trivia from the Path to 2409 you can unlock at the academies that said the Founders considered any Changeling in the Alpha and Beta Quadrant as rogue?
Also, if it weren't for the reveals in Tenebris Torment, I'd say "nope!" to saving them, just keeping Odo safe.

I'm assuming each character has to have played 'Tenebris Rorquent' to get to the featured episode 'Home' so if this turns out to be a bad assumption go ahead and disregard the rest of this post. However if the assumption is valid I'll be disappointed with the change from simply being level ten to play a featured episode to a prerequisite of having completed mission x. Featured episodes have been having runs of about four weeks with every week unlocking a new piece of gear, some of which you may want and some you don't want. What was nice about the previous level only requirement was that I could pick and choose which character was going to run the FE without the need of having to have run through every mission on that character. Sure I'll eventually get every character I have (currently six now with the gamma recruit event) through all the missions but I wouldn't expect that to be done so soon after a recruitment event and to be honest there are still a few of my characters who have a few missions yet to do. And having just run that Dominion arc on my Gamma Recruit I wasn't in any hurry to run all the episodes in that arc again so soon on five other characters and instead focused on nostalgically revisiting the earlier arcs on my gamma recruit (I liked that they retrofitted the DS9 cast into some of them). So as it stands only my gamma recruit would be eligible to run the FE which is a significant change from the availability of previous FEs. Sure it makes sense as far as storyline goes but that could be said of all the previous FEs too. So the question arises of why the prerequisite change?

This episode is more likely was planned as apart of the expan but didnt make it in time due to forced mandated release date. Or was held back on purpose to give it more of a splash. Once this story arc finishes... we will see if other featured episodes are level/episode restricted. I doubt it thou.

The name for the new Founder homeworld. I don't think it was ever given a name during the run of DS9.
I know, I just think its an... interesting name for a planet
Hehe. I have two plans that will be in motion in the upcoming quest.
