What's your favorite Romulan ship?

Ok ... What is your favorite Romulan ship currently in game?

For me, it's the Fleet Ar'kif tactical carrier warbird.

Not only does she handle well, but she looks sweet as well.

    Morrigu.

Has the looks and the performance... total beast of a ship.
    Insert witty signature line here.

Of the ones I've flown? The Dinaes, the veteran ship. It looks good, flies good and kills good.
Now a LTS and loving it.
Just because you spend money on this game, it does not entitle you to be a jerk if things don't go your way.
I have come to the conclusion that I have a memory like Etch-A-Sketch. I shake my head and forget everything. :D

I didn't fly it for awhile after I got it, then tried it one day. It's very nimble and has lots of potential.

T'laru, a shame that cryptic decided to bury the first romulan carrier inside a gamble box but quickly became a favourite.

I love the Vet ship in terms of Beauty, one of my favorite looking ships in the game. It's really hard to narrow it down to just one, I have 1 Romulan and 2 Reman Captains, who each fly one of my 3 favorite ships.

The Malem on my Rom Tactical, the Dineas on my Reman Sci, and the the Hathos on my Reman Eng.

I will say this the Hathos suprised me the most with how much I love it. The Vet ships can be fairly flexible, and the T'Varo/Malem, was love at first flight. I use different flavors of Plasma on all of them.
Thanks for the Advanced Light Cruiser, Allied Escort Bundles, Jem-Hadar Light Battlecruiser, and Mek'leth

A tie between Explorer Warbirds because Vesta in warbird form, T'Laru with its really balanced can-do-everything setup that rivals that of Vesta, and Scimitar since it has so many abilities and it is a challenge to command.

I also really enjoy the Harpia and would jump on it if it came out in T6 form since transformation mode is unique, or really any proper warbird (Singularity core, Battle Cloak) that's a specialist science ship.

While I've always appreciated the look of the D'Deridex I was less than pleased when I found out the stats of the game version. Honestly I haven't played my Romulans enough but I guess I appreciate the T6 Tac or Sci Scimitar's, one of the Romulan Vesta's, and the Faeht.

without a doubt my T'laru carrier. absolute death machine, with the right setup, it can make a Scimitar look cute in comparison.

Visually, I always loved the D'Deridex but sadly it isn't a very good ship and the Romulans have lots of better options. Overall, I enjoy flying the Fleet Morrigu (Fleet T6 Mogai) the most. The fleet skin looks really clean on it. It has a VERY good boff layout and an excellent turn rate. It has a great mix of offense and defense and battle cloak. And the best part is the C-store version is account wide.
When you see "TRIBBLE" in my posts, it's because I manually typed "TRIBBLE" and censored myself.

Yet another D'D fan here. Sure, the Command-hybrid slot is on the worst seat and it moves like a brick, but it was the main Romulan ship in TNG. I can't fix where the extra abilities got shoved, but fitting the Competitive Wargames engines can make it move like a (heavy) escort with just pressing the right abilities (I usually go with Prevailing Fortified subtype and load it up with heals.) I even run it with single cannons and green torp (Nausicaan), for that extra bit of show-likeness. Though it did sometimes have beams, disruptor bolts and torps were seemingly the go-to weapons on it.

The Scimitar is a DPS beast when built and flown right, but it's from one of the least liked TNG movies.

    Morrigu....killing machine.
    Dinaes...Elegant and versatile.
    T6 scimitar...pure menace.

T'Laru overall. Honorable mentions to my Morrigu (gun with wings), Malem (projectile delivery system), Kara (two ships worth of pain), Aelahl (un-science ship), and Leosa (when you just need a nice moist gravity well to get your jollies).

Of the free ships, the Mogai retrofit is my favorite despite its being weak on science. It has the best looks of the bunch along with an optimal combination of handling, firepower, and durability. The ion cannon makes a nice "raptor's scream" as it pounces from cloak too.

Just short of neck and neck with it is the Ha'nom, mostly because of it being the only true science ship the Romulans have that is not locked behind a paywall, but also its lines are reminiscent of the V30 Winged Defender which is my favorite from the paper-and-dice rpg era (the Ha'Apax resembles it more but I have not flown one yet). It's stablemate, the Ha'Feh handles well and looks good, but the solid appearance the stocky design gives it is deceiving since it is held together with the same paperclips and unicorn dreams as the Federation escorts when the singularity charge is too low to use absorption and that is a bit disconcerting at times.

I was never a fan of the "big flying beak" on TNG and the handling just seems so much worse than the equivalent ships in the other factions which does nothing to offset that. The usual Romulan situation of power problems, when coupled with the agility of a ruptured three-legged hippo makes the usual torpedo solution to the power thing somewhat less than practical unless you use tractors and the torpedo conga line launcher like some of the bosses do. Stuffed with cluster torpedoes they are not as bad since the mines can attack while you are out of position (the usual thing for the D'Deridex), however those are not very canon which is a problem for some people and characters. The gamma rep stuff might help in making one a good minelayer though, where it could cruise in the tightest circle it can manage or even stay still and pivot while using the mines and cluster torpedoes with a few beams to fight. Come to think of it, maybe I should dust off my T4 big beak and try that one out...

T'varo because of the red ball of death console and how that used to be so deadly. These days the T6 scimitar because I can't stand using a big red ball of plasma that doesn't deal plasma damage but kentic damage instead.
Green people don't have to be.... little.

I have to agree I upgraded mine to T5u. Personally I think changing the proton quad Cannon to Experimental Weapon. 3/3 and when it transforms you switch power between Experimental Weapon and Secondary Deflector.

For looks, T'Liss. I'm a TOS diehard, and for me, nothing beats the clean lines of the original Romulan Bird of Prey. Too bad that the endgame one is in a gamble box! :(

For play, the T'Liss's more endgame sister, the Fleet T'Varo. (Played around at the Space Barbie Officer's station until I got a reasonably T'Liss-esque paint job for the T'Varo, too!) Both my Romulans fly them exclusively as Stealth Torpedo/Bombers. All torps forward, all mines aft. Just wish there was a usable projectile Experimental Weapon other than the Miradorn one, so that slot is empty on both ships until I can grab a couple of Miradorns.

I haven't played on Rommie side that much all in all, but i do love the T'Laru Intel carrier on my FED Reman.

The Vastam is my favorite ship design in the entire game visually.

Gameplay wise it’s mostly a tie between the Vastam, Okhala (and pilot escorts in general), and the Morrigu.

It's hard to pick one with so many choices, but I'll go with Surhuelh.

The Faeht was my main Romulan ship until I switched to aux2bat and cold hearted with that character. Doesn’t have the seating to pull off A2B.

The Romulan ships I fly the most now would be the Scimitar or T’Laru. The T’Laru is one of my favorite designs in the game, but the green lights on it always get to me as they’re there no matter what visuals I use.

My Romulan flew the Fleet T5 Mogai for quite a while before T6 came out. She's got the Morrigu now.

Anyways... tossup between the Morrigu and the Vet ship for me.
