On demand patching gone rogue?!

Ever since season 14.5 dropped with that huge 6.4 gig patch..Things have become more broken..I have on-demand patching turned off and prefer to patch the game completely before playing, BUT, for some reason I am seeing a patch status bar in the top left corner during map transferes for some unkonw reason despite on-demand patching being turned off..Anyone else have this problem and any ideas??

    Yes.... @frtoaster noticed this on Tribble. Then it got ported over to Holodeck...and still with us to this day. Hopefully, they will fix it during one of the upcoming patches. I have on-demand patching turned off, too.

    I have seen the on demand patching too, despite having it turned off
    Star Treking, across the universe. Only going forward because we can't find reverse...

    I guess this also could be coupled with the lag fest half the players are facing in the ques and social area..Since the game is trying to contact the server to check for updates to areas thereby using resources..

    Ok..So yesterday during a few map transitions I noticed the rogue on demand patching downloading something thanks to a visible progress bar at the top left of the screen..My game is completely patched, and I dont have on demand patching enabled..WHAT THE HECK IS GOING ON AND WHAT IS DOWNLOADING IN THE BACK GROUND?!
