please please please add in playable cardassians, or at least their actual neck/nose/hair options that we see on NPCs!!!
While I want playable Cardassians BADLY, I am not willing to have them attached to a Jem'Hadar faction. They need their own story.
Personally, I'm very disappointed that they went with Jem'Hadar (not Dominion even, just their manufactured soldiers?) rather than a Cardassian faction. My excitement level for this expansion just sputtered out.
Thanks for the expansion that had "as much content as the last"
9 Episodes = 30+ episodes...?

Seconded, can we please get playable Cardassian's.
I don't care if they are C-Store purchases for all factions or linked to the new Jem'Hadar faction. I know they can be created by the alien generator but all that takes is one randomise button press and your a god damn changeling looking like anything.
Agreed! However speaking of Changelings....
As much as I enjoy my Fed Tac toon with nearly 20 costume slot changes- each an alternate race and one sorta looks like a She-Odo... Can we please get Changelings playable? I could understand building a character from the ground up, but a novel option would be a quest arc in which -an existing character you have- can either discover or reveal under the right circumstances to old friends/allies that he/she has been a changeling helping out the goodguys all along.
*Down on knees praying to Devs- errr Prophets.
Looks good though all in all. Can't wait to play and watch the cut scenes. Yes I'm a cut scene watcher... Go ahead and tease me fellow players.
This will almost certainly mean that Sisko too will be part of the expansion, right? And if not him, then the Cardassian actors have to be part of it cause there's no way you could reach the number ten without them.

DS9 has a huge cast to draw from, larger then any other Trek show, and could easily lack involvement from any of the Siskos.
Well if the actor for Jake is available I could easily an older Jake- as he stayed at the station- Kira with a consoling hand on his shoulder as they both look out a station window- is the last scene.
Sisko Senior perished -at least physically. Prophet visions usually appear as people you yourself know and we don't even know if a retired older time theater mainly actor would give a "video game" the time of day- or be able to if he's super retired Who knows though... Ben as half human and half prophet (sorry spoiler) could break the mold of how Prophets appear before others since he has a sense of identity they may have lost eons ago- or not even care about.
They were all willing to do goofy things like the baseball episode so none of the DS9 cast strike me as being too snooty for "games" so it will all come down to availability, time, price and health. Looks like a lot of the cast so far are willing and able an not holdin' out for too much cash too boot since we have so many of them and still faces to reveal on the poster. They probably had a blast making it. I know it's all voice acting in booths, but maybe they had time for a mini reunion? Unless it was all different times/days.... Awe it probably was...
Sure hope it isn't another lockbox ship. I want Cardassians as much as I want I.S.S. registry. If all there is to play is ex-drug addicted Jem'hadar it will be disappointing. Nonetheless I'll still play one for the experience.

Rom, Max Grodénchik, to complete the Ferengi family trio. Maybe it is the silhouette near Nog.
For the other remaining silhouette in front of Martok my guess is a female since Kira Nerys, Nana Visitor, is the only one so far. Ezri Dax, Nicole de boer, would make sense. Also, it could very well be the female Changeling, Salome Jens, returning since her release from Facility 4028.
If not another female actor joining STO then my long-shot is still Tosk, Scott MacDonald, from the "Captive Pursuit" episode. That would probably require a lengthy story for a proper reintroduction & that is very doubtful for such a niche role but I just always liked that episode.
Either way, well done Cryptic with the voice actors for this Victory Is Life expansion.
Tier 7 ships are not a planned feature for Victory is Life.
This choice of words worries me. Not "T7 aren't a planned feature, period/in the foreseeable future" but "for ViL". I fear T7 are already planned.
Why should it worry you? In the past they've used "_____ will never happen" with regard to many things and then they happened. Once they run out of T6 boff seating arrangements the only thing they can do is go to T7. And then revamp the popular ships cheap and easy and make a lot of $$$. Maybe when T7 comes I'll finally be able to afford a T6 Connie!
I was surprised to see Level 60 after a break from computing, so I wouldn't be surprised if they update the ship tiers eventually. I think it was mentioned by them that maybe when the level limit goes (if it does at any time, that is) to 70, they'll probably roll out the T7s. I'm more reluctant of T6-Us.
Alexander Siddig will reprise his role as Julian Bashir and Andrew Robinson will reprise his role as Elim Garak as per this link.
You should really get your marketing guys on the same page.
So who are the last 4to join our marry band of DSNiners?
I hope one of them is Ezri Dax. Obviously Jadzia Dax is better known (and having Terry Farrell would be awesome) but Jadzia is dead. Ezri really grew on me that last season.

no idea... but even if she is you can do alt reality version like they did with Tasha Yar. Yeah I dont think Dorn will be back...

In Ragnarok, we here her over the coms, "Captain Dax to all hands." And isn't she fighting next to Admiral Leeta?

That's not Jadzia, it was another female host of the Dax symbiant.

Perhaps or maybe they used Temperal shenaniagians to bring her back, like that episode where they kept recruiting Seven after she'd die, by transporting her onto their Wells class ship from an earlier time period when she was still alive.
There is no free ship token for T6 ships for lifetime subscribers, so more than likely, no.
Well, it is true there is no token, but there is a free T6 ship: Manticore Heavy Destroyer Dinaes Warbird Destroyer
Acquisition of this ship is based on either having 1000 days veteran reward unlocked or being a lifetime subscriber.
So it would not be improbable that there is also a Dominion Destroyer made available upon release of this update.
Polaron Lotus, that would be interesting to see.
I too would've preferred a Cardassian faction over a Jem'Hadar faction. Now it is never going to happen and them adding Cardassian's to the Federation species list is just going to make me regret making two fakedassians and giving one of them a Keldon.

I think they should have went with a complete Dominion faction. Changeling, Vorta, Jem'Hadar, Cardassian, Breen, etc.
I would have preferred Cardassians to be an independent faction as well, but after the Delta Quadrant update failed to deliver any of my desired playable species, I learned a difficult lesson that day: Take my authentic playable species any way I can get them!

Nice, I hope the Cardy Escort mimics the Fleet Phantom Escort. -I have been sailing it since its birth, and would like an alternative. -But if it doesn't mimic the fleet variant, I will be a very sad little panda.
I think they should have went with a complete Dominion faction. Changeling, Vorta, Jem'Hadar, Cardassian, Breen, etc.
Neither the Breen nor the Cardassians were part of the Dominion, they were allies of The Dominion.
Actually they were both part of the dominion. In fact, dukat explicitly used the phrase 'and as of last week, cardassia has agreed to become part of the dominion' when explaining what he had done. They were members, not allies. Not that it would have done the cardassians any good, they were useful idiots and would have been next on the list of races to dispose of if they had won the war. Their days were numbered after that whole 'lets wipe the founders out' incident
Makes you wonder how bright they truly are considering nobody seemed to see that one coming

Actually yes they were, both became members of the Dominion.
DR was never going to provide new species because all of them are in the DQ, of which there is no access too until long into the story. Unlike the Gamma Quad, which has a perfectly functioning wormhole right there 24/7

For a Delta Faction designed like the Jem'hadar Faction this would make no sense.
hello, to @ the creative director of STO take another look at DS9, the Jem Hadar have a traditional hair look. I miss this one at the Jem Hadar! But just these little things make a lot of the fans.
well.. that next battlezone annoucement has dropped a major clanger, the GQ map will be in effect one giant warzone as you fight the Hur'q, and the end will result in an invasion of the founders homeworld. This strongly suggests that the Alliance is not a threat to the Dominion at all and the Dominion are looking for their help, if not outright openness to the alliance crossing Dominion space and teaming up.
T6 Miranda Hero Ship FTW. Been around since Dec 2010 on STO and bought LTS in Apr 2013 for STO.
