At this link someone mentions a work-around that works for them to prevent the double-tap activation bug with pilot thrusters.
About possible future nerfs on their traits, see link, Promise of Ferocity was already scaled back - this is all thanks to people rallying up against bait-and-switch.
Still don't know if the lack of canon skin unlock if not owning any T5 is a bug or working as intended, but if it is, I'd expect all future T6 ship remakes of existing T5s to not have access to at least their base T5 skin or canon skin.
I've been finding the wing torpedo's oddly lacking, but I'm unsure why. It feels like they don't really seem to actually add to dps in a meaningful way. I'm not entirely sure they autofire even.
They fire all right, they just don't do much damage. I tried them out, couldn't get 1k out of them and that's on an all torpedo build.
Has anyone else parsed them?
At the moment they just look pretty spamming torpedo spreads, but damage-wise, they're junk.
I got the Andorian for the gravity well today and I'm glad I did. I have a character in one of the original pilot ships, so he'll actually use the ship, but I wanted to level it on my main first to get her the grav well. I am a satisfied customer. I feel like Delta Rising never happened.

Painful Memories starship trait does who knows how little electrical exotic damage, which according to wiki is considered (hopefully shield-bypassing) energy damage subject to energy dmg res, using up precious survival engi abilities for offensive slow ones (eject warp plasma, aceton beam, boarding party, etc.) which requires debuffing to help strip some % dmg res using up sci boff slots, and 2 starship trait slots (with gravity well trait) to make an engineering ship with 4 sci consoles (or 5 on miracle workers) into a sci-cruiser.
Pilot boff abilities don't lend themselves to making a sci-scort, temporal escort would run circles as the best sci-scort with a science-based console.
Very poor consoles with no synergy, something my lowly alts wouldn't even find use for, forced phaser-boosting 4th piece set bonus that's clearly up in the air for what it does.
No access to T5 skins if not owned.
Bugs that risk getting ignored- ex. reports of BFAW with andorian phasers with cosmetic problems.

Clearly released the Bundle as it was with Traits 'supposedly' OP to get a good infusion of cash before the end of the Fiscal Quarter.
Remember when a Bundle is released after the Anniversary ship they synergize Console-wise/Space Set-wise with said Anniversary ship. This time the Bundle had no connection at all with that ship. The Bajoran ship synergized with the FE.

I'll slowly get the sci ones for the grav well trait, but I'm frankly underwhelmed
not I it seems these are far more survivable than the originals which was nice.
I love the originals too especially the explosives ship in the original fed set. I use alot of electricity attacks as a sci captain which is nice with the drains because the shields don't immediately kill the damage output and if you combine that with the neurological blast one comes with it's amazing!

The answer is very simple: the blue Andorian phasers are vanity items, as it were; if you could buy them in the Fleet store, then, OMG, they might lose a sale or two on those new Andorian ships (as now they locked possession of those phasers behind ownership of the Andorian ships).
Bought these during the sale mainly for the Gravity Well trait. I've found the KDF and Fed Sci versions to be pretty decent, resilient and generate good dps.
I have to say the Romulan designs are spoilt by that horrible tail. Its so out of place. Would love to be able to remove it in the ship tailor
Hello rubber banding my old friend, time to bounce around the battlezone again, where are all my bug reports going?, out of love with this game I am falling, As Cryptic fail to acknowledge a problem exists, Shakes an angry fist, And from Support all I'm hearing are the sounds of silence.
Well a few days in now and i am totally loving the andorian ones. In fact im loving them all.
Not sure whether ill keep the consoles on them but even with all 3 mounted they kill fast and have a decent reliable tank. Im going to start testing them out with alternative consoles just because.

Yeah I would not mind if they either added to the console that it would buff all three of the main energy types of the main factions. Or that when added to the alliance dogfighters console set it would both give a slight boost to the phaser damage boost an also have that same boost affect plasma/disruptor energy types.
The hyper cannon thingy is s An alliance multi class damage fitting and acknowledges the 3 racial bonus types. The set bonus is called alliance ....blah blah blah...why then doeznt tje domino follow suit?

The fleet store andorian phasers only showed up if you had the ship, so that is a flawed statement. The reason they removed the fleet version is there would have been no need for the dilithum version. You could buy fleet which is 1 mark stronger and 1 better rarity and with a set of mods that you wanted. In addition there was no fleet version of the other 2 ships energy types so it made sense for them to remove the fleet version of the andorian phasers putting them all back onto level ground.
Now if they will adjust the DIMONO console to boost disruptor and plasma as well the set of ships will be finished being equaled. And I agree with one of the posters who asked to remove the tail of the Dewan ships, a simple on off option on that in the ship customization would be nice for those who want it and might greatly improve sale of those ships if it looks a lot better. The tails dont bother me to much as i think of them as a type of ion drive, throwing out particals to push the ship but no harm in disabling it for those who want to

Not flawed at all. In fact, what you describe makes it worse. Now you have to buy the Andorian ships again, in order to get the blue Phasers (aka, possession of the T5 Andorian ships should have simply given you continued access to their blue Phasers, instead of annulling said deal, and have you buy the T6 ships too).
The reason they removed the fleet version is there would have been no need for the dilithum version.
There was never a good reason to buy weapons from the Dilithium store to begin with (with the exception of the Spiral Wave Disruptors).
Now if they will adjust the DIMONO console to boost disruptor and plasma as well the set of ships will be finished being equaled.
D.O.M.I.NO consoles is just fine. I'm hearing cries for 'boosting other energy dmg types as well' a lot. I think ppl got spoiled, though, with the Synergistic console set (boosting Phaser, Disruptor, and Plasma); but most dmg boosting consoles really just boost a single type. And, besides, the D.O.M.I.N.O console *already* comes with a '+25% Bonus All Damage' boost on its clicky (which dmg, at Cat2, is considerably more than the measly +15 Cat1 Phaser dmg boost).
