Just call the coffin dreadnought a Hur'q ship. Mystery solved.
There was never any doubt there would be an TRIBBLE lockbox. Personally I'm just miffed that non-Feds are overlooked when it comes to the Lobi item... again.

You mean we're not allowed to be Trek fans if we like Discovery? Who made you the arbiter of who can and can't be Trek fans?
From the controversy about Discovery and the Kelvin Timeline, I have learned that the hallmark of a real Star Trek fan is his ability and authority to declare other people not Star Trek fans based on the kind of Star Trek material they enjoy.
There was a time I thought Star Trek fans were more awesome than that, but things are as they are.

I just wish they would include the Discovery uniforms that they gave away last year (I was in the hospital when the giveaway was going on and couldn't get them as a result) in the Discovery box. Or at least I wish they had put the Discovery uniform in the 8 day giveaway for those who couldnt get it last year
Excellent point, those uniforms should be made available, somehow if not an event then a paying way, to any players that weren't able to get them for free back when ST:Discovery debuted.

I have noticed there are those who love it, like it and hate it. Just like every other show in the franchise. Which tells me it probably isn't as bad as some make it out to be.

reverse engineering and cultural influence on design...not really far fetched concepts.
That seems rather pointless when the Sarcophagus ship really amounts to nothing more then a really ornamental looking, and smaller, version of the Negh'Var
I mean seriously. Just take away the top and bottom attachments, and make i really ornamental looking, and you have the Ship of the Dead
So? If you posit that Klingon ships could be based off of designs appropriated from the Hur'q then the millennia old progenitor (based on corpse age) of the D7/Vorcha/Neg'Var (IMO it only scores closest to the later thanks to horizontal wings. They all work off the same body plan) should indeed look like the D7/Vorcha/Neg'Var.
Reverse causality in your line of thinking. In universe, the older ship inspired the newer. This also works without the Hur'q too (old ship -> new ship...where's the "pointless" contention?)

You're doing a great job of bringing the experience of Star Trek to all of us. I realize these forums are often a place for disgruntled/frustrated players to vent, and I don't see enough thanks for what y'all do. I just want to tell you that I am excited for the Discovery ships and weapons, and will be gambling away some lock boxes- (wish me luck) but love that no matter what I can get the Shenzhou, and those amazing Discovery Phaser bolt/beams. They have such a powerful and strangely realistic look. I look forward to flying around in new style!

It's not the first time with ship design this has happened with either. The NX design was influenced by the Akira....not the other way round. There was a bit of hoo-haa about this too when Enterprise came out. (Although a fair while back a poster accused Cryptic of copying the NX design for the Akira.....alot of fun was had that day!). The only ship I don't like in DSC is the Discovery itself. I can get past the 'Starfleet trying to emulate the Klingons' explanation, but when they come out with the Shenzou, you have to say to yourself 'what was CBS thinking!?' when it came to the Discovery.
I do actually like what they did with the Ship of The Dead though.
"You don't want to patrol!? You don't want to escort!? You don't want to defend the Federation's Starbases!? Then why are you flying my Starships!? If you were a Klingon you'd be killed on the spot, but lucky for you.....you WERE in Starfleet. Let's see how New Zealand Penal Colony suits you." Adm A. Necheyev.
Because Klingon space flight pre-dates the arrival of the Hur'q, by several hundred years, and there is no reason to assume older Klingon ships looked any different, and no reason to assume the Klingons would have any reason to hijack Hur'q designs. Klingons achieved warp ability in 930AD, the Hur'q didn't attack until the 1400s, some 500ish years later.
The date given for Klingon achieving warp travel is after 1947 (DS9), with warp 6 by 2152 (ENT). The Empire was founded in the 8th century and the major engagements that followed (ex. Tong Vey) take on the shape of pre-industrial military warfare. It's only the Star Trek: Star Charts that states 9th for Klingon Interstellar travel (founding of Boreth), which was not corroborated by the series.
So consider the Sarcophagus Ship, which predates Klingon warp flight by millennia and yet has all the hallmarks of Klingon military technology. They can't have developed it independently with the canonical information we have. Ergo, major technologies were likely adopted from another species. The Hur'q potentially factor because they suffered a defeat 500 year prior to the Klingons being able to fully replicate at least one element of advanced technology (warp drive).
Thus the scenario develops where the Hur'q (who originated in the Gamma Quadrant) were forced into retreat because the Klingons captured one or more examples of their significantly more advanced technology (ie. ships.) However after the Hur'q left, Klingon pre-industrial society may not have been able to immediately replicate their captured technology. So, it was several centuries before Klingons were able to produce ships of their own using the principles and template(s) at hand and quickly become a dominant military power (they were challenging the Vulcans by 2016 [DSC].)
Thus, the Sarcophagus Ship may have been originally built by the Hur'q and subsequently served as the model for subsequent KDF vessels. That, or some other power.

What about the Lobi ship, is that only accessible to Feds, AoY Feds, and Fed allied Romulans?
Truthfully the Walker is the only one that interests me.
It’s not so much of even the complaint just curiosity.
The majority of my 13 captains are red side, but my main being a Andorian looking KDF alien space pirate, having a Fed Lobi ship would be cool spoils of war.
Thanks for the Advanced Light Cruiser, Allied Escort Bundles, Jem-Hadar Light Battlecruiser, and Mek'leth

Makes sense. We don't get CBS whatever over here.

Wait for what? the negative people to come flooding in?
Anyway, good on you OP, i am really glad to see you so pumped for ships you love. All the best to you in acquiring them.
