I'm intrigued by the traits and, of course, the universal console slot. They are easily the UGLIEST Fed ships to date, so there will hopefully be lots of customization options in the tailor. Maybe including the traditional Excelsior hull as an option would help. The trait on the Tucker looks especially good. I'm only concerned about another bait and switch like they pulled with the Hit and Run trait. Maybe I'll wait a few weeks before I purchase to ensure that what they're advertising is in fact what we'll receive. In regards to the Universal Console slot; I can see that easily being allowed retroactively to all the cruisers in the game. Most likely to any ship that has a Commander Engineering and 8 weapons slots... perhaps excluding those with a hanger.
I like the appearances of the new ships, apart of the Romulan ones. They usually seem rather safe when it comes to it's designs.
This is a Miracle Worker ship for sure. They maybe took it too literal when it came to upgrading the secondary hull. Instead of designing the nacelles/saucer to look unique, it's the secondary hull this time around and it's pretty cool. I'm definitely getting the three Federation ships.
Interesting, a full pack of ships that i actually like. The Klingons ships ara amazingly beautiful, the rom ship are a return to the sleek gorgeous lines and i actually like the fed ships, wich is unusual. Even tho i understand the the use of the cruiser class for the miracle worker line i was still hoping for a 3 way carrier bundle. Oh well i'll buy the klingon set and we'll see how the ships work.
Too much hate for the big-bellied Fed ships. I kinda' like them, they're nice.
The KDF ships look awesome as always, so no real surprises there, but those Fed ships look kinda interesting as well. Big fan of the nacelles on the Scott Class.
I can't say I'm a big fan of the visuals on the Klingon versions; I can't get my head around the "Kaiju" forward sections. If they were rotated 90' for a more traditional Klingon "hammerhead" look it would probably be fine.
Ironically, that's the main reason I'm so fond of these!

That's pretty much definition of hull armor for a "miracle ship" right here.

The ships looks nicer and nicer the more i'm reading about them.
Don't get me wrong, most of the new designs look beautiful, but, really? Tier 7s? Because that's what they are.
Why would anyone be buffing FAW again, when projectiles have been at the bottom of the trash pile for years, most of their ability to keep up with half the output of energy weapons nerfed with OKS (total damage loss of about 20% to 40% depending on target shields) back in 13.5? The extra subsystem energy is also going to further this gap yet again - wasn't it once said you didn't want weapons 'competing' for their slots?
What's even going on up there?
BFAW is because this set is tank oriented. All skills are related in some way to maintaing tank. BFAW hits everything.Hence sueful for trying to help hold taunt in an area. Taht is the point of thise set. It's name, "MIRACLE WORKER," for a reason. It's pretty obvious. That is an engineer still that heals alot of damage for tanks. The entire thing is about different tank types. Including likely tac and sci tanks. If you noticed the miracle worker skill sets are also tanking focused.
And I like the underside of the fed ship. It's a very bulky very classic TOS style ship like the old big excelsior! So, when you fly it you must constantly be on your mic randomly yelling, "Excelsior!!"
Those KDF ships look a lot like the T6 Vor'cha that players have been clamouring for (the tactical one in particular).
From above the Fed ships actually look pretty awesome, from the side though they look awful. It seems they took some design cues from the Chimera destroyer with regard to the depth of the secondary hull, just doesn't do it for me. If I do get them I'll have to avoid looking at it side-on!
The Romulan version I'm in two minds about, I'd have preferred if they were a bit "flatter", the wings swoop a bit further down than I'd have liked.
My problem now is that I have to find 3 ship slots on each of my ten characters before I can accommodate these new offerings!

Money... they have realized that the season 13 nerf has chased all the PAYING customers away and the hopes that console players would make up for the PC FAW DPS player exodus has predictably come up WAY short.
PC gaming remains the number one platform for making money versus Phone (no.2) and far behind is console in 3rd. Most people do not realize this fact.
Well, I actually like the Chimera, so also like the new Fed MW design. I like the design of all the ships in the mega-bundle. Also, I would like to see all cruisers get the extra console slot upgrade, like all escorts got the experimental weapon slot. It would give them their 'extra', like sci ships have a secondary deflector and escorts have the experimental weapon slot.
Now a LTS and loving it.
Just because you spend money on this game, it does not entitle you to be a jerk if things don't go your way.
I have come to the conclusion that I have a memory like Etch-A-Sketch. I shake my head and forget everything.
If those T6 Fed ships can be skinned with a classic Excelsior look that would make them more appealing to TOS players I'm guessing.
The T6 Excelsior is the Resolute. It is, hands down, the worst T6 ship in the game. Wearing the Excelsior skin is the only good thing about the Resolute. If they gave the Excelsior skin to these new ships, I would be moderately irritated.
And I like the underside of the fed ship. It's a very bulky very classic TOS style ship like the old big excelsior! So, when you fly it you must constantly be on your mic randomly yelling, "Excelsior!!"
I'm not seeing it. The Resolute is visually more akin to the Excelsior than the Miracle Worker ships. These look more like the Chimera "on steroids" than the Excelsior or the Resolute.
All I can say is that people have their own likes and dislikes. I'm seeing some who hate the Fed ships and others who 'must buy' them ASAP. Seeing some who love the Rom ships and others who think they're 'meh'. Some who love the KDF ships and others who yawn at them.
Cryptic can't please everyone all the time, so they do the best they can with what they have. I personally only find the 'pancake' ships hideous. All others I like, tolerate or absolutely adore.

I still, visually, like all 9 designs even after viewing more screen shot angles & viewing the ZEFilms presentation of the Miracle Worker ships. Well done again ZEFilms. Certain components of the 9 ships I like & dislike more than others but that is to be expected. Their statistics didn't awe me, but there's some new interesting gimmicks which if are over-powered when bought might get "nerfed" after initial release. I really do wonder if that is a marketing tactic anymore in gaming?

To be fair to the designers, this time around I think the Federation ships were meant to look ugly.

Jesus... they actually do look better that way. Certainly don't look like a toilet with nacells anymore.
Actually it looks exactly like the pic of an item in game. A cloacking item...

I personally have no problems with it the right way up. I like big bottomed ships!
If I get one of those I'm going to name it something along the lines of, "Fat bottomed girl!"
