The ships look nice its just a shame they will most likely make use of the rubbish Miracle worker powers and spec which puts me off buying them. I still cannot believe they made a Engineering spec that makes Engineering healing lower and doesn't even work with most Engineering powers.
Going to take a little while for the Starfleet ones to grow on me (I'm not sure why an issue; I like the Chimera/Manticore and I like the 'double-hulled' cbcs).
I guess they look a little bottom heavy somehow? Massive engineering hulls make some sense for 'miracle worker'. Rommies great as always and the Klingons are nicely menacing without being as blocky as the flagship cruisers.

My forum single-issue of rage: Make the Proton Experimental Weapon go for subsystem targetting!
I like the FEDs with the rounder saucer sections.
Overall, the design of the FEDs keep reminding me of the USM Auriga from ALIEN Resurrection due to the placement of the four engines, so If I do get one, that might be the name I'll go with.
I'm not digging the look of the Federation ones either, but at the end of the day, I'll look at an ugly ship if it's functionally useful. Looking forward to the stats blog.
Don't let them promote you. Don't let them transfer you. Don't let them do anything that takes you off the bridge of that ship, because while you're there... you can make a difference.

Well well well, noticeabl power creep aside, on first look the ships look rather fine. Heck these are the first KDF ships in a long while that seem to be very nice. The Romulans are fine - like they tend to be. And FEDs, well, there is this front bottom heaviness to them, and they have weird nacelles. But they might just work, still.
TOIVA, Toi Vaxx, Toia Vix, Toveg, T'vritha, To Vrax: Bring in the Allegiance class. Toi'Va, Ti'vath, Toivia, Ty'Vris, Tia Vex, Toi'Virth: Add Tier 6 KDF Carrier and Raider. Tae'Va, T'Vaya, To'Var, Tevra, T'Vira, To'Vrak: Give us Asylums for Romulans.
Initially I think all 9 ships' designs are visually appealing even the Fed versions. More subsystem power is obviously a power-creep, but I wonder how the additional power will be dispersed. The improved sector travel is just a nice extra perk, but not a must have. The additional console slot I'd think could be a good selling point. The "Innovation" mechanic I think is an interesting concept with potential, but more details need to be known first whether it'll be a gimmick or a useful tool. The 3 categorized ships' consoles I think are the weakest selling-point of the information released so far whereas the ships' Traits I think could be appealing.
I find it insulting that Cryptic is adding a "Bonus Earned Experience" to the consoles as a feature. I feel that is a pathetic weak attempt to make people think they're getting even more for what the cost will be. Of course my account has been rewarding the incorrect amount of veteran experience boost bonus since late July on 6 of my 10 characters which Cryptic keeps ignoring, deflecting, then delaying any correcting my account with "no ETA" responses so Cryptic's monetizing the cadence of experience earned outright as a feature when I've already paid for a certain level & am not even receiving that I find fraudulent.
Seriously those Fed ships give me the urge to grab a newspaper and close the door and when I'm done flip the saucer down so nobody complains. Cut some of the excess off their front ends and you'll have nice looking fed ships.
Looks like this is going to take the place of my T6 Tactical Star Cruiser Flagship which I haven't wanted to use in quite some time, feels like it's going to be obsolete.
Could we have a miracle worker version of the Jupiter? Something that has ship trait that makes fighters provide some additional support to team members they escort, and really works with shield repair units would be awesome.
I mean these cruisers are cool and all, but I'm just a carrier captain on principle.
going to have to sell these to me via stats and traits as visually the Fed ones as with most Cryptic designs have once again hit every branch on their way down from the ugly tree.
Hello rubber banding my old friend, time to bounce around the battlezone again, where are all my bug reports going?, out of love with this game I am falling, As Cryptic fail to acknowledge a problem exists, Shakes an angry fist, And from Support all I'm hearing are the sounds of silence.
*Love* the Klingon designs! A hard pass on the Federation ships. (Dear lord they are horrid.) Call me crazy, but I was dreaming of an Andrew Probert Ambassador, for no logical reason. Oh well.
You know...that Tucker Class Cruiser is pure Butterface, everything about it is ok but her face. Seriously I'm pretty sure Tucker is doing cirque soleil level acrobatics in his grave over having his name on such an ugly starship.
Can all cruisers get that universal console slot? Please?
How about all ships get it?
Cruisers are the only type that dont get an extra equipment slot as opposed to the escorts heavy weapons and the science ships secondary deflectors.
To be fair, those offset the fact Cruisers get their Comm Array abilities, though again to be fair those are more of a team buff than a single ship buff like the other two.

Guess I am the only one who likes the Fed ship? o.o
Ironically enough, I normally find most of the Cryptic-designed Fed ships to be absolutely wretched looking and yet...I actually kind of like these. Not a big fan of some of the individual parts, like the nacelles and such, but otherwise, I actually like the overall design, from the quad engines to the more pronounced hull section.
That being said, I'm not all that fond of Engineering-focused ships and I don't play my Federation alts enough to justify spending Zen on them. Still, this is one of the few instances where, at least in my opinion, all three factions' ships look pretty good. The Romulan ships are great as always, and the Klingon versions are quite fierce looking.

This looks like the beginning of T6U, which would make the Upgrades valuable again should all T6 cruisers get this feature.

Don't make ARC mandatory! Keep it optional only!

KDF ships: meh, nothin really new there
RR ships: Those are kinda cool.

Personally, I'd like to see a T6 MW Connie in the C-store. Mostly just to see the rage/whining it would engender!
