Ever so often, I like to remind our Developers that we, the Players, are in need of a Pet Tab or a Vanity Pet Unlock as more and more Vanity Pets are introduced and released. Borticus has mentioned in a past thread that the Pet Tab idea has been "seriously considered".
The idea of a system/feature that ties into Vanity Pets has been seriously considered multiple times over my tenure on the STO team. It's likely to happen at some point, but not a complete guarantee. And as for when? I couldn't even begin to guess.
I do hope that we can get--as soon as possible--either a Vanity Pet Tab next to our Inventory Tab or that the Vanity Pets become unlockable so that once they are purchased, they can be discarded and reclaimed at no cost after their initial purchase. Again, just a friendly reminder as the Summer Event approaches with new pets to claim.
Thanks!

Again, a pet tab would be greatly appreciated.
True. The "buy back" could work for the Lobi and "Store" Vanity Pets; that alone would help with Bank and Inventory space. Who knows, maybe we can get both so that the Pet Tab can be finite rather than expanding; I would expect the size to be similar to either the R&D or the Inventory; seeing as how pets are continually made, the Inventory limit would be most useful.
I have to agree. Costumes and Pets are definitely the most used items among RPers. As Costumes slots are virtually limitless and independent of the Bank/Inventory system, it would be nice to have the vanity pets share something similar as I initially mentioned.
Thanks for making this post...I was going to re-post an older one from the countless ones we did in the past but was concerned it would get shut down along with the others...
I totally agree with this and let's keep it rolling.

Things I want in STO:
1) More character customization options such as more clothing options, letting the toon complexion affect the entire body, not just the head. Also a true RGB color picker applied to all costume and appearance options, which would allow for true appearance customization and homogenous colors instead of "this same exact color looks vastly different on two different pieces."
2) Bridge customization, not bridge packs. Let us pick a general layout and adjust the color palette, console appearance, and chair types, as well as more ready room layout options.
3) Customizable ground weapons, i.e. The aesthetic look of phaser dual pistols but they shoot antiproton bolts. For obvious reasons this would only apply to standard ground weapons.
4) For the love of Q please revamp Plasma Ground Weapons. They look like demented Supersoakers right now.
5) True Vanity Impulse and Deflector effects similar to Vanity Shields.
6) A greater payout for hitting T6 Reputations. Currently it takes more time and resources to get from T5 to T6 than it does to get from nothing to T5. Make that grind really pay out at the end.
7) Mirrorverse Refugee event similar to AoY/Delta/Gamma, complete with new Mirrorverse recruits for all factions.
8) Independent Faction, because yo ho yo ho a pirate's life for me!
For "buy back", you wouldn't need a tab. You could just re-purchase from the store at 0 currency. The tab would be useful for those pets that are not purchased, but are earned in game (i.e. birds, monkeys, gingerbread people, etc.).
Are They even paying attention to our requests?

How many pet slots would we start with and how could we increase that number?

20 base. 5 slot expansion for 200 zen in the cstore? max out at about 100?

That's not a issue player input is needed on.
For Rep Tokens, I think a better idea would be to just have text and a number in the Assets Tab. After all, tokens are just another currency, and they really shouldn't be occupying Bank or Inventory space. This would also be very helpful in that there need not be a limit as there are for the tokens, in terms of stacking.
As for Lockboxes, I would love to see that, but I feel like the Bank is really the place for them. That being said, I would prefer to stack the Lockboxes even higher than what their maximum currently is.
For the Tab, I would start with the same amount as the R&D. I would rather that it would be expanding like the Inventory since Vanity Pets are added to the game as it ages.
Lockboxes should stack the same as keys: 99 per stack.
That could work.

I totally agree. Lockboxes should stack to 999.
It's the people who don't like to discard them that the cap would target. If not to sell them keys, then to sell them inventory slots.
