The console specifically states that it can be equipped on "Any Vorgon Starship", implying that there will be more than just the Xyfius. Just as the Breen consoles can be put on any Breen ship.

No. It's just shorter to say "any X starship" than the full names of the ships in question.
I could see more of a science-carrier for the risian ship if they did a new one, than a full on science vessel. It would go along the idea of that the corvette was a racer like ship, the cruiser was more of a cruiseliner, and so a carrier that has hanger-ships it can use to ferry an give tours to the ship's guests sounds quite like a risian vessel that could have a science leaning.
I would say that it was a bit of both players hating not getting something others are getting, or just did not get access to it. Yet I also think that since there was no explanation of any of the criteria for what constituted being "unwavering loyalty" either though some took issue with that fact.
Or they took issue with certain (alleged) recipients' insistence that the words meant such criteria must have existed despite no proof that it wasn't just as random as all the other code email promos, and that as a result of it players who got one are somehow better than players who didn't.
I hope if they release a T6 Risian ship it'll have a functional bridge pack with it this time. Be nice to have a unique Risian themed bridge with beach area like the cruiser they released back when implied but never had.

Oooh, that makes me excited. With the recent overhaul to carrier pets it may finally make carriers a viable option again, and I love the Vorgon style of ship, so that will be interesting.
I don't think we'll be getting anymore Lukari ships, could be wrong, but I don't see it. Plus the console from the Lukari sci ship completes the set for the Fed/Rom/KDF sci ship bundles, so another Lukari ship likely wouldn't be able to use it as a set bonus... unless they implemented that, which I also doubt. Vorgon Carrier will be cool though, at least it's not an escort.

Unfortunately carrier pets are still broken, Callistos at least, can't even keep up with the carrier, so probably another ship that will sit on the shelf for the rest of my accounts life.
So many Sci powers are useful only in the forwatd arc, SNB, Tykens, GW, Aceton Beam, etc., etc. A big, slow turning science ship is handicapped by its turn rate, and usually requires a player with excellent timing to make the best use of its abilities.
I'd much prefer an Eng/carrier to a Sci/carrier if the vessel is massive. A true science ship is nimble.
My favorite science ship is the Recon Sci because it is a true light cruiser with a tactical twist. If the Vorgon carrier has a similar design I will give it a try, and probably eat my words, much as I did in the case of the Nandi so long ago.

If the Ryn'kodan-class is going to be based on one of the two known Vorgon capital ships (reference), I think the Arbarel-class BB would be the more likely candidate.

If you're going to dream, dream big. Although that kind of Pakled Salvage Ship would work really well with Superior Non-Linear Progression.
