Stop posting so many singles of stackable items on the exchange!!!

It really grinds my gears when I go to buy or sell a stack of something and some jackass has filled the first 6 pages with singles. I mean, really? A few singles is ok but even if someone takes the time to buy all of them, you're still making chump change so stop wasting everyone's time! (including your own...at least post small stacks)

This applies to items that can stack in 100, 250 or more, especially upgrades.
Really, how much ec did you make for the 10 minutes you spent posting that 50 Jevonite one at a time? And don't even get me started on Contraband!

P.S. Off topic but everyone should know the new episode of Rick and Morty was the best episode ever!

When you see "TRIBBLE" in my posts, it's because I manually typed "TRIBBLE" and censored myself.

    It is a permitted practice.
Plus not everyone wants a stack.

Why sell in bulk, when I can part out everything at a slightly higher profit ? Exchange warfare is the true endgame.

    I'll take a d4x, otherwise no.

if I stop posting it doesn't make you right it. just means I don't have enough rum to continue interacting with you.

OP... are you ever going to need 250 tech upgrades in one sitting?

Single upgrades are more likely to sell faster than bulk because people typically only want to get what they need at the moment.

I'm sorry, OP, but you cannot dictate how other players use the Exchange.

it's possible, if the system implemented a non-refundable posting fee per item... fixed at 5% of sell price. frankly i think this is needed due to folks using exchange as bank space.

if you want to spam the exchange with a number of items and it ends up costing you, i think most folks would stop.

I can only surmise you have no clue how the exchange works. Frankly claiming posting one item at a time is "wasting everyones time" is kind of funny but sad as a bigger waste of your time was coming onto the forums and blasting everyone in a tantrum. So OP Go Foxtrot Uniform Charlie Kilo Yankee Oscar Uniform Romeo Sierra Echol Lima Foxtrot.

A better solution is reduce the time an item is on the exchange and how many postings per account a day can be made. It's far to late in the games life span to impose a fee like this. If they had placed a fee years ago at the start of STO yes but now it would collapse one of the games major economies.

So stacking singles is gonna be the new trolling thing to do for the small fraction of the players that read the forum...?

Not sure I have time to participate in this Forum event.

This is an irrelevent request since you can alter the search options to buy stacks (ascending/descending) as opposed to the normal search method.

Single stacking has happening in player based auction houses since they first appeared in games.

Not everyone can afford to buy a stack of 999 R&D mats or indeed want to have that many so they're willing to pay a minimal increase for the convenience of buying only as many as needed.

I'll stop posting items in singles if you send me a T6 TOS Connie and a T6 D7. I'll gladly pledge never to post singles ever again of items that stack.

I honestly don't see the issue. Each single item a person posts on the exchange takes up one of their permitted sales slots. So... if they're individually posting 50 stackable items that's all they're selling outside of shunting other sales off onto mules. They are paying for being obtuse as much as you are buying from them.

Its an OLD forum sig I made for another forum. Nothing related to what I was playing. Need to get a more up to date STO sig, but... I'm being lazy. So I just went with an old personal one.

    Yeah, that.

(Also, it's really annoying when I just want two or three Rep Mark or Fleet Credit Boosts, and the first page is all 100+ stacks. So yeah, small stacks are fine.)

Every time. Go ahead with those settings and search Contraband. Tell me how many pages you have to scroll through before you find a stack of more than one.

How many weapons have you ever upgraded? It takes like 50+ upgrades to get a weapon to gold....and I only upgrade on bonus weekends.

I have almost never seen bunch of contraband sold as singles. Sure, there are usually few stacks of 50 or 10 on the first page, but I don't recall last time I had to move awqy from page 1 to find a 250 contraband stack.

If you're going to try to make any kind of real money you're going to need to sell a LOT of items. You really mean to tell me you'd waste the time it takes to sell a stack individually? I wouldn't even waste the time it takes to post that many items individually nevermind waiting for them to sell if they sell at all. And I'm one of the grindiest people in the game.
It takes hundreds of millions to buy anything really worth saving for on the exchange..why nickel and dime?
I'm not against single items but really? Pages and pages before you get to a stack is excessive. And who needs to buy just one Jevonite? What are you gonna do with one Contraband? That single upgrade gonna get your item to the next level? Sure occasionally you want one item. But most of the time, you don't go to the exchange because you're looking to buy one or two of something (stackable items).

Every time I have gone to sell contraband in the last few months, the first stack has been so far from the front page that I felt I'd have to sell for a ridiculously low price for my stack to even be seen.
