    Nope another season same old bug, still not fixed this is getting beyond a joke now it makes quite a few consoles from paid ships useless totally unacceptable and no updates from the devs on this issue either.

    I also have an issue with my Pathfinder long range science vessel T6 with aero shuttle console. The aero shuttle when launched at any time just remains stationary and does not move. It does nothing. I've tried to "reconnect / respawn" the shuttle but its does nothing wont even reconnect. I've only had the ship 2 days as a treat to myself and this was one of the main selling points of the ship and intrepid pack. Feeling really disappointed with it as like many other of these items its a console slot taken up. Furthermore, the aeroshuttle ability to fire a shockwave torpedo is another selling point of the 3 piece console set. This is now also rendered useless if the shuttle does nothing.


    Added edit - after investigating in various PvE's and patrol missions in addition to the details above where the aero-shuttle does nothing if launched from stationary, when launched in motion or in combat the shuttle will either immediately fly off or in rare circumstances fight for a small period of time (less than 20-30 seconds in most instances) then fly off regardless if it has been damaged or not.

    You know, a lot of us paid for these ships that can separate (I myself bought both Odyssey packs and the MVAM escorts) because they can, or could, separate. I wonder if Cryptic being unwilling/unable/uninterested in fixing these ship constitutes fraud or negligence in some fashion... they were advertised features of the ships, and now they don't work anymore. For anyone.

    I just wish Cryptic found it as easy to fix bugs as it apparently is to write them.

    They don't even put it in "Known issues" notes on patches... totally black-out :#
    Still, as i heard, the announced rework on hangar pets also does NOT work... :p

    Yep. My separation pets still don't work either. This is getting ridiculous now. Separation is a major selling point for many ships, so this really needs to be resolved.

    Let me see..start of season 13 - just how updates, 3 now, and still not fix.
    What's the point of filling out bug reports, posting here, putting messages of Facebook and twitter and they still don't give any updates on it of even fix. We have all paid a fair bit for these types of ships and still nothing.

    Just how many bug reports do we have to fill in.....

    The CM posted an update on Reddit a few days ago that amounted to something "they don't know what's wrong with it", if I paraphrase correctly.

    This is getting ridiculous. I equip all of these consoles generally, and they are all, without exception, broken. One would have though that a space powers revamp would have touched on underused things like starship separation, especially as they are cash shop powers.

    That said, the balance pass looked like a nerf hammer to me in the patch notes, and I don't see what it is going to do to address the huge array of "never slot" consoles and skills the game has, just limit skills that people invested a lot to use.

    Why an update cannot be posted in this forum, or the item be added to "Known Issues" list, only Cryptic knows, but it is consistent with the way they have managed patch notes the whole time I've played (since 2012). They cannot claim to not know about this, the CM is clearly aware.

    Well I personally have stopped purchasing anything and no longer play STO at present, the bugs in the game were so frustrating that I don't even feel the need to play it now. The fact we have only had one acknowledgement from a Community Manager and then nothing else for months (how far is it to a year anyone?) has just quite simply, put me off the game entirely.

    I log into this thread now and again to see if the bug has been fixed, so please do post if it does magically disappear, but for now I just don't pay or play anymore. The only consolation for the amount of money that I personally have spent on the game, is the memories I have of when these bugs didn't exist and how awesome it was back then and this will have to do.

    STO I feel have completely lost the plot since the take over by Perfect World, ironic naming guys ... I vote for less content and just focusing on bug patches for the next year! The Teams are working at different rates and the pressures to create new content seem very rushed, the Company as a whole needs to now start to focus on quality control imo. Please, please can we get an acknowledgement and possible fix and please can we update here if this ever happens, for those of us who do want to return if it does happen.

    This seems to have broken when the 2016 Winter Event went live, beginning of December, so 5 months now.

    Or approximately 6% of the game's existence.

    This is ridiculous, I bought all the fed ships that separate not to long ago, for a while only in sol system did the saucer section or the other two sections of the multi vector escort fly away but since just before the newest update now it happens in all battles, battle zones, deep space encounters, and missions. I'm mad because the whole reason I bought all those ships was because they separate, so now I can no longer use them for the sole purpose for which I bought them, I get an email telling me its an unreported bug, how can that be, I can't be the only one experiencing this, so basically I wasted money if this doesn't get fixed, and I get told to post my issue here but if there is no fix what's the point?

    We have to be patient but my own thought are that this issue will prevent sales of any ships with separation pets and furthermore will prevent any future whips with separation being developed, until that is it can be fixed.

    The problem with that is outside of the forums, people who don't currently have separating ships don't know its broken.

    The ships are still for sale in the C Store, there is no warning that the console has been broken for the better part of half a year.

    I still have seen posts on Reddit in the past few weeks asking things like "do the T5 Odyssey consoles work on the T6", so people are still considering buying these ships for these abilities.

    I personally had to warn my Dad off buying the T5 Galaxy a few weeks back because he wanted saucer sep for his Yamato.

    So it isn't "preventing" any sales, Cryptic seems perfectly willing to take your money for the ability (because lets face it, why would anyone buy a T5 Galaxy, Prometheus or Odyssey otherwise?).

    Perhaps they should have a warning banner on each of these many ships in the C Store that come with broken consoles until they can figure it out.

    Looks like the Devs are ready to try a fix, here is quote from patch notes for 4.05.2017:
    •Tuned all Space Transform/Separation abilities to address a situation that was causing Pets summoned by these abilities to almost immediately despawn/flee.
    ◦All Space Transform/Separation abilities have received a tooltip description update.

    We shall soon see if it will actually work (the second part is interesting too.. lets hope they just not put in something like "...if separating not in combat, the pets will evacuate the area immediately..." :p )

    Holy TRIBBLE!! can it be true...have they finally fixed the Seperation bug..
    The MVAM seems to be holding atm just need to try it in combat now...

    "Edit"....seems to be holding in combat too!

    Well my Fleet Advanced Escort is now staying separated. However, intermitently, the 'rejoining' animation will play, even though the other two parts stay separated.. The two parts currently separated stay separated, and the tray icon still shows the power as activated. Manually remerging works as normal after this.

    This is a big step in the right direction, but they're not 100% fixed I don't think.

    EDIT: Nope, after hanging around for a while longer in ESD space, the merge thing happened again, but the separated pets disappeared. It's now broken in a different way.

    I am flying a Fleet Advanced Escort T6, and the section I'm currently piloting is the Alpha vector.

    T6 Galaxy/Andromeda with the separation console and the T6 Pathfinder and its aero shuttle are working here for me, whether in combat or not. It seems this is finally it, and hopefully it'll stay that way for good, this time. Thanks, devs!

    As for the update in the description, I didn't take a screenshot of a console before the patch but it seems to be just the outdated crew effects being replaced by a different one (shield/hull/whatever effect).

    Yup same for me. Separates. keeps playing the rejoin animation, then they eventually leave.
    Does it no matter what vector I choose to pilot.

    I can confirm that the T6 Yamato Dreadnought with the separation console works fine.

    You're sure? Every time I've activated my cloak, the decoy has been appearing fine and annoying enemies on my side.

    Working fine:

    - Kara
    - Pathfinder Aeroshuttle
    - Hestia (i had no problem with any section)
    - Andromeda
    - Sheshar
    - Monbosh
    - Flagships

    Those are the ones i have, please feel free to add more Info or some quirks, as some are reporting not working fully for them

    Well When it peeps playing the re-join animation when you have not selected it.
    And when the 2 other vectors leave, or just 1 vector leaves (happened during combat, no it was not destroyed), I think it is still broken

    This happened in an specific queue or mission?, the idea here is create a new tread, with the problems, so the guys at Cryptic can fix it (yes, it would take some time, but we can help them with more Info)
