    No, I'm not getting one.
I'm not a fan of the design so I will not be getting one, the neck is too far back on the secondary hull as well as the nacelles being a bit too ample with weak looking pylons.

    It's looks too fragile

Work is for those who have run out of TV shows to watch pig-2.gif.

I watched "Prolemy wept" and I must say it is very impressive, especially considering the technical limitations he had to overcome. Still you can clearly distinguish original and just reshaped components and newly drawn ones. Although I was watching really closely (and not only at M'Ress' legs pig-26.gif) there's a sort of off colouring and kind of lineart that is very difficult if almost impossible to recreate. Now, a team at CBS with all their resources could make it work but I would remin sceptical at first. The writing however of that fan episode was rather good, within the established frame of course. I never liked the "Flint is everyone!" thing, but it worked quite well.

I wasn't interested in peoples opinion about "how it would be made available" when I made this poll.

I just wondered how many folks would like to get one, their added commentary is just that, added... as in, not asked for.

If you want to know peoples opinion about HOW it will be sold, make yer own poll.
      B)
The problem is, the method of availability will impact on whether people will spend money on it or not. You don't really get one without the other.

I think the point is more that if one wants to debate the delivery method of this content, then this isn't the poll or thread for that debate. Of course that method will affect someone's choice, and thus poll result. And obviously people can share that. It's when the discussion goes beyond that into a debate of that method, that it starts to elevate beyond the boundaries of the simple poll here.

At least that was how I read the commentary.

Agreed - sadly, and without meaning to sound offensive, this isn't a very good poll as a result.

I mean, I can't say whether I am getting one or not as if, for example, one or more of these ships are prize box ships I won't bother attempting to win one.

Again I say, if you want to know that info... Make Your Own Dang Poll.

The poll is fine the way it is because it's NOT INTENDED to find out the "how it's obtained", it's intended to find out "if one is interested or not".

Geeess, quit makin' it so damn complicated.

      Do you want one...??

      YES.

      NO.

      NOT INTERESTED.

      WANT A TOS CONNIE INSTEAD.

      ,,, that's the question.

"How it's obtained" has a direct bearing on whether people are "interested" in buying one. You cannot divorce one from the other.

Again, that's the point! I AM interested if they appear in the C-store. I'm NOT interested if they're a box prize.

      Then your answer is YES.

      Yes I can...
If the process is the problem, then it's not that you DON'T WANT ONE, it's that you DON'T LIKE THE METHOD.

I'm not asking about the Process, you've already answered the question by saying that you Do Desire One.

I am very interested in getting one at this stage - whether that interest holds past the point when they announce HOW we can get one remains to be seen.

      Yes, I'm getting one.
I personally don't care if lockbox or C-Store. I'm getting one, period.

      And a Vengeance too.

Nah. The criteria for what is and is not in a lockbox was laid down by CBS. The Kelvin Timeline ships always fit into that. I.E.: Ships we don't want everyone flying around in.

I would rather have a TOS T-6 Connie.
Can't stand the JJprise. All I want is an original t6 connie.

but lets face it they were going in a lock box cause people will buy keys in the 100 to get one. its how they really make money.

Aaand, if I was Obsessive/Compulsive, then you would be correct.

But, since I merely LIKE the Minions (a lot) and it pleases me to no end to annoy the heck out of folks who don't around here...

Oh, and the fact that I enjoy LIFE with a 15 year old mentality, might have something to do with it also.

      ON TOPIC...

It's interesting to note that after the KT Lockbox announcement, the YES votes jumped considerably.

Two way split for me. Yes, I would get one. But, I would prefer the TOS skin.

That's why I included the last option, as I realize many folks don't like anything from the Kelvin Timeline.

I too would prefer a TOS T-6 Constitution, but I also like the KT-Connie as well.

Not sure what would be more interesting, Kelvin Universe Constitution nacelles on TOS Constitution or TOS Constitution nacelles on the Kelvin Universe Constitution.

Either version would make my eyes bleed.

when a full grown man claims he has an "underage" mentality and is always posting pictures from a movie meant to attract children...it suggests he may be a danger to children.
