I think what's going on now is people are starting to resent you and what appears to be your self appointed Forum Police role you're taking up.
You're making it sound like it is absolute IRON BAR STRAIGHT law that we MUST stay on topic and never deviate even one post, otherwise you come down and call the mods.
I'd be expecting backlash with that kind of attitude honestly.
We have forum mods already. We don't need self appointed Forum Police patrolling to see if we're staying on topic 24/7. As long as it is respectful there shouldn't be a problem. If it goes into Delta Rising level rage and name calling... THEN there's most definately a problem.
Calling the Mods for even simple drifts isn't the answer, and could reach a point where the Mods won't listen anymore because of the "boy who cried wolf".
