in Star Trek Online General Discussion
Please allow players who have purchased one or both (premium) feline races
the option to place tails on alien race captains.

    would be nice, but i doubt it will be done....
    poeple want it almost from time the Caitans and Farasans have gone online....

    They did have a bug that allowed it and a FEW very LUCKY Aliens have tails...it is true, seen several
    still had tails, so I know they can do it.

    The default Catian lion tail is very boring.
    I would like Cryptic to add the following tails to the game.

    An iguana like tail for more authentic Godzilla roleplay.
    A newt tail to pay homage to the Voyager episode "Threshold" .
    A Kangaroo tail to aid in balance during vigorous hopping sessions.
    A prehensile tail for obvious reasons.

    I can understand an appropriate wanting feline tails, and if you get access to them via owning the c-store purchased race that I don't really see an issue with it as you would have needed to buy the caitian/Ferasan race option in the store. i could even see a pack option that added several tail options if you want to not buy the Caitian/Ferasan race specifically, but want tail options. I mean It would be nice to have several lizard, feline, canine, and even some avian tail options that you can buy access to, maybe even along side the ability to add scale an feather or even carapace skin textures to your character. I mean I have always wanted to make a race of recently warp capable insectoid beings, which might have several sub-races like mantis-like, beatle, and other such races.

    This is getting stupid and weird.

    Reminds be of super mario.....they should make a tribble when you pet it you get racoon ears and tail.

    Its also like Japanime where they have strange fetishes making animal girls with ears and tails.

    None of which is Star Trek. Keep it away from my immersion .

    I think your immersion died with borg captains, sulabon pod ships, captains driving tholian carriers ect...
    as for an earlier post...yes, we understand that Alien tail options should only unlock if you purchased a
    feline race...so there is no risk of this reducing caitian sales since you have to own that to use it.

    would love to see cat tails added to alien gen, would also like to see gorn tails.
    then again Id also like to see Antican and Selay added as "Faction Agnostic" races

    Such things should be exclusive to a Wolfman style race, similar to WoW's Worgen but without the lycanthropy, since it would be an alien instead of an infected human.

    Yes, am all for cat tails, dog tails, wolf tails, lizard tails, ringed tails, tail with sucker cups on them...it is all good.
    We are just asking for a tail option IF YOU OWN ONE OR BOTH of the tail races.

    and when they do give us that, we will be happy and quiet for at least a month...or so.

    Yeah that worked. BTW not sure, but even if in jest, trying to pass oneself off as a mod may be a no no.

    As for tails, yes, Yes, YES, YES!
    If you have purchased both tail bearing species from the C-Store you should be able to use tails on alien gen too.. Even if not, sell an alien tail pack for 500 zen in the C-Store. Give aliens tails please!​​

    Well I hope Cryptic realizes customization sells....like a lot...
    Also one of my favorite animes intros says
