Can we stroll away from the foodstuff because it's making me hungry.
Heh...
What you got no food in the house/apt??
I don't eat after 8PM. Better for digestion.
Really? I will eat 10 minutes before bed if I get hungry at that time. Never really had an issue. Guess it is my time in the Army, and the whole eat and sleep when you can find a moment to do so thing.
Anyone having suspicions that the faulty information on the German site was a HUGE conspiracy to stop people from getting previews?
This program, though reasonably normal at times, seems to have a strong affinity to classes belonging to the Cat 2.0 program. Questerius 2.7 will break down on occasion, resulting in garbage and nonsense messages whenever it occurs. Usually a hard reboot or pulling the plug solves the problem when that happens.
Today's fifth gift is an upgrade voucher? Oh TRIBBLE, so no ship. yucks. I dont need no stinky upgrade voucher I got nothing to upgrade. This gift is as useful as Captain Hook at a gynecologists convention. (I am joking for those from the other side of the pond who didnt get the joke)

Aren't those sale-able though?
My suggestion (unless getting them as a promotion binds them to your account), is to bag them, then wait a few weeks for the market to calm down from people having the same idea.... and stick them on the exchange.

Then don't claim it. It's free, so you don't 'lose' anything by ignoring it.
And, whilst this doesn't only apply to you, the fact remains - just because YOU don't find it useful doesn't mean that no-one else will.
Besides, with the new Admiralty system only hours away, this is actually more useful than you think.
Are you from England by any chance? No sense of humor is a problem from the cold weather areas.

Upgrade-Gutschein ... hesitating, but does that mean an "upgrade token"

Honestly, it is kind of poor. Yes, it's (arguably - inventory slots for 2+ characters cost more) more expensive than the rest of what we've been getting so far, and I think most people will find some ship to use it on, but... between event/lockbox ships being free-to-upgrade or proper T6, and more and more regular T5 ships getting a T6 makeover, this really isn't worth much, free or not free.
At least with sub-T5 ships you'd get a free costume (if a T5 equivalent exists for the ship) and a nice new toy to work with, and it's not like we haven't seen T5 ships, which combined the benefits of the sub-T5 ship giveaways with the ability to actually work in an endgame environment.
Infinite possibilities have implications that could not be completely understood if you turned this entire universe into a giant supercomputer.

Risky business.... calling out the British on a lack of sarcasm when it is one of their archetypal defining national traits and they are veritable lords of it.

LOL, I am half Scottish, half Irish. I like the gift if really this is what we get. I was just trying to make a joke but seems some people are very "sensitive". So will refrain from joking in the future.

Does that mean you are technically Manx?
Largely English but I think we have some Irish ancestors which occasionally skews my loyalties westwards enough to the Welsh lol.
Yeah no worries. Keep the humour up. I find sometimes sarcasm gets lost on the Internet because sarcasm depends quite a lot on tone. I've found sometimes adding an appropriate smiley makes it a bit safer.

Don't disagree - but, judging by early comments, people are not thinking with the new season in mind. This token actually lends itself quite well in terms of upgrading a ship that is not intended to be used as anything more than an Admiralty card.
Actually, I think I remember Borticus saying something about upgraded versions of ships being equivalent, Admiralty-wise, to their base counterpart. Your Rhode Island was probably very rare because it's a fleet ship, not because of an upgrade.

Not sure - you could well be right; haven't been on Tribble for a few days now. Could have sworn that one of my non-fleet upgraded ships (T5U as oposed to FT5U) appeared as Very Rare though.
Yeah, -U is pointless, but -F is a different ship for admiralty. Seriously, the -F versions have different abilities. you can even use the regular and fleet versions at the same time.
Thats something - let's hope it will be "per toon" not "per account" giveaway.
Also i got noted some post earlier that any Tribble info on not-Tribble forums should be in spoiler tags
It'll probably be per account. If I remember correctly, ship upgrades are account-wide, even if the ships themselves are not; taking that into consideration, it would be ridiculous of them to give out enough tokens to potentially render the ones bought in the C-Store obsolete.

Two questions.
First, is there actually a difference in Admiralty between T5 and T5U?
Second, if I can't or don't want to use this once I look over all of my stuff, can I sell it?

I've heard (but have not verified for myself) that a select few of the T5U's are considered Fleet Equivalent due to an extra console they come with right out of the box. The Vesta may be one of them and I have heard of one more possible one. Can anyone confirm?

Vesta, Flagship, Dyson, and all of these 9-packs we've been seeing lately are considered fleet-equivalent due to their 10th (or 11th in T6 ships) console slot, yes.
As for Admiralty... I think fleet and mirror versions of a ship count as separate ships, but upgrades don't. You'd have to ask the devs or search for the relevant posts somewhere to be certain, though.

I thought i read somewhere, that there is no difference in Admirality system between upgraded and not-upgraded ships?
Still it's nice for people that still want to fly Scimitar, Oddyssey or Bortasqu....

I'm not seeing it in "Promotions"....
Same, not seein it.
EDIT: now it's there.
When I think about everything we've been through together,
maybe it's not the destination that matters, maybe it's the journey,
and if that journey takes a little longer,
so we can do something we all believe in,
I can't think of any place I'd rather be or any people I'd rather be with.
