This is nice, I got 2 at 60 to use this. Too bad they can't come in a packaged marked for later. That way I can put them into the bank for later use for my other lower level alts.

The inventory slots are very helpful, especially for my Delta.
Oddly enough, my Delta is now levelled higher than my first character, who has been in existence since 2013. And I have some characters I have not touched in months. So these spec points are infinitely helpful. Thank you!
The free stuff they give away is useless garbage. its amazing how many people drink this koolaid and come here like starving children and thank their chinese overlords for the handouts...
true lol moment.
I guess writing down my personal impression I get from you would be against this site's ToS. Anyway, what may be useless garbage to you in game may not be the same to other players. Oh, about overlords - they usually do not allow you to move away at your leisure or just pass on an offer. I. e.: you have the option of just ignoring the giveaway if it is not to your liking, but that still wouldn't be a reason to complain.
#1: Inventory Slot - total value 400zen
#2: Gamma Doff Pack - total value 550zen
#3: Marks Pack - total value 1k dilithium (about 40zen at current exchange rate)
Small corrections made, since it was actually not one but two doff packs.
Which means, that even a 1 toon player got the equivalent of $9.90. Granted, you may not have spent the zen on this stuff (e.g. I wouldn't have bought the doff pack, so it is not "redeemable"). Yes, you can argue that that sum is inflated because some of the prices are - pricing a pet at 10,000 zen and then giving it away would be a $100 gift, but only on a very technical level. Still, a company which lives from you spending zen allows you to save some. This is not unheard of, but always nice. Whether or not you have to melt while noting your eternal gratitude is open for debate, but complaining is the real definition of entitlement.

@farmallm: You can claim then on any character you already have, even if he's or she's not level 60 yet. You just can't use them yet.
The only thing it won't help is characters you have not yet created.

Yeah, going to say. Claimed the spec points package from last time on my sub-L60 characters for later use. More is always useful, thanks Cryptic folklings.

I fail to see the logic in expecting to get a "Free, Limited-Time, Promotional Item" for a Toon one may, or may not create at some future point.
If you want the item, then create the toon now and just don't use it till that future time (in yer brain) comes.

Eh, part of the problem lies in not being able to obtain character slots fast enough. (Also, coming up with an idea for said characters.)
Another part is probably that some of us have been spoiled by permanent account-wide ship/Horta/costume unlocks from previous giveaways.

Haggis is awesome. Never trust a person who doesn't like Haggis.
Can't say i have ever eaten it, but i will try any sort of food.
Seen a recipe once though. Sheep stomach with sheep liver, sheep tongue and sheep heart boiled/steamed with herbs onions and oats. Sounds like something which has potential providing the correct seasoning is used.
Now gimme.
Yeah, so many people are put off simply because of what's in it without ever trying it. I don't like people who don't try foods before deciding if they like them or not haha.
May not always look 'the best', but it does taste fantastic.

Can we stroll away from the foodstuff because it's making me hungry.
This program, though reasonably normal at times, seems to have a strong affinity to classes belonging to the Cat 2.0 program. Questerius 2.7 will break down on occasion, resulting in garbage and nonsense messages whenever it occurs. Usually a hard reboot or pulling the plug solves the problem when that happens.

What you got no food in the house/apt??

Always appreciate the freebies, even if I already have some of them on to odd alt. This time has been a really good event though with some genuinely useful items given away for multiple alts.
I have nothing to complain about and am very grateful.

I don't eat after 8PM. Better for digestion.

Well the flip side is that if you used it while under 60 you'd gain 2 levels. Personally I'd like the option, it would be good to move some of my characters who are stuck in the upper 50s and I simply don't have time to get them all to 60 before I die.
I was able to get 3 characters to 60 by doffing not that much later than my character who went through the delta quadrant arc. Once you hit 60, things slow down a lot, so I think that you're probably better off waiting, long term.
I got 2 characters to 60 fairly quickly right after DR launched (in like 2 weeks of VERY casual play), before they messed with the leveling curve. I've gotten 3 others to 60 in the 10-something months since then, mostly by doing events and DOFFing. Lowering the level limit is pointless if they don't change the leveling curve like they said they were going to but then never did (and probably never will).
These giveaways appear to be inspired by years of those who complained that the freebies were only usable by one faction or other. Each free item given so far was usable by any toon, regardless of faction...

don't get me wrong, any free gift is worth having and always appreciated regardless of the value, just pointing out why the other guy might have felt a little underwhelmed.
your correct about the doff pack could not remember how many doffs come in a pack and if it was two half's of one pack or two packs and was a little confused as it was announced as one pack.
having said that day 3 was still a bit lame and would have been more near the mark if it had been 100 marks from each reputation.
When I think about everything we've been through together,
maybe it's not the destination that matters, maybe it's the journey,
and if that journey takes a little longer,
so we can do something we all believe in,
I can't think of any place I'd rather be or any people I'd rather be with.
