every trait on every build gone. rage so blinding.... what I want to say i cant..... you are forcing me to stop playing the game i love. do what you have to but just fix it just fix it before i have a heart attack. how can you take all that money and not fix it? I just can't deal anymore....
Missing, verified not working Starship trait "Tactical Retreat".
What happened, in chronological order:
I went to tier six in a number of reputations, when this happened, several lower tier reputation powers naturally disappeared from being slotted, so I put them back in, and then saved to ship loadout. However, for the next day or two, whenever I zoned, all powers and tray slots and traits for ships disappeared, and I would have to reslot them, often at the last minute. I would save ship layout, but it would then happen again the next time I zoned. This happened for a day or two, and then stopped.
When this happened, I had noticed that the starship trait Tactical Retreat (Faeht Intel Warbird) had never seemed to do anything, so I unchecked it, and replaced it with Harasser Mines. I was on a patrol, and health went low, and I suddenly took off like a rocket, this happened several times. This had never happened before, even while Tactical retreat was slotted. I verified that tactical retreat was not slotted ("trait is inactive"). No other traits had changed, although the order I slotted them might have.
Since then, I took out Harasser Mines, and reactivated Tactical retreat. I have since gone down to 20% health, and nothing happened (it was very noticeable when it happened before). I have also tested Harasser Mines, and my other starship traits , working as intended. Note also, the ship is upgraded to have one more ship trait slot, although I do not have the fleet trait slot purchased, so it is 4 +1 below.
Also, my Klingon Recruit earned the starship trait Hunters Instinct, so now my other characters have access to it. The character with non working Tactical retreat has not activated this trait. All weapons report "during ambush after cloak, to target, -10 to all damage resistance for 15 sec". This is regardless of whether I have the trait Hunters Instinct activated or not, I have tried both, no change reported, mouseing over the weapon or it's icon on tray gives the same ambush report.
Next, I will try activating only 4 starship traits, on the chances that the problem is that even though Hunters Instinct reports not being active, it is anyway, thus perhaps the game can't fit in Tactical retreat. It is, however, difficult to test, as it depends on taking damage and still being alive while moving to see if I suddenly take off, while not suddenly going to zero damage

I then went on the same patrol that I last saw Tactical Retreat seem to work. I carefully tried to get the enemies attention without killing them, so as to take damage. This isn't easy.
Once, i suddenly took off ( I was not able to verify what my health was). This is what Tactical retreat is supposed to do.
Verified, Hunters instinct is slotting and activating itself, and thus you have one less slot to play with. This can cause one of your Starship traits to not work, since it has been bumped.
I suggest that other players who have the trait Hunters Instinct available but not activated check to see if their weapons, when moused over, also report a resistance debuff after cloak.
Second test:
3 starship traits, including Tactical retreat, on first bar (it only has 4 slots), one trait on starship name bar (from upgrade), the test is to see if that starship named bar from upgrade is the problem (that is, will a trait in that slot work), or if there are too many traits slotted, probably due to Hunters Instinct slotting itself whether you want it to or not.
Tactical retreat worked, the problem is not the starship named slot, but too many traits slotted, probably due to Hunters Instinct activated whether you want it to or not.
Work around, slot one less trait than you have if your weapons report -10 enemy resistance after ambush, and/or if one of your traits is not working.
in general i'm seeing a few problems even with items you have equipped in your ship especially items with the infinity symbol that's supposed to upgrade with you as you level but it won't change for a while until it decides to do so during one time you level to the next Rank, it just fixed itself as i Leveled into Rear Admiral, Lower Half but it probs won't change again for a while it didn't change when i leveled from Lieutenant Commander to Commander then to Captain.
It does seem to take a while for Ground or Space Trait slots to show up though too 3 more empty ones only showed up halfway into the Captain rank and it can take a few tries to get the game to acknowledge which Traits i've selected i had to do it twice for Space Traits for it to stay put, it didn't free any Space Trait slots until then either they were just still labeled with whatever Level each slot requires, it seems to have freed itself now because i got the slot for Level 40 but no idea if it will get stuck again. I think it's the same with Ground and Space Skills too for several Ranks i won't see anything new show up in there and then suddenly it just appears.

Definitely missing Hunters Instinct, Improved Temporal Insight, and Improved Critical Systems. The Available Traits list looks much shorter; those are just the obvious ones because of being used in loadouts. This is a FED/ROM captain.
Logged into a KDF Recruit captain who is also missing Improved Critical Systems and Hunter's Instinct (which he earned originally) but does have Improved Temporal Insight. The list also feels much shorter than just being down two traits.
I think I'll avoid logging into any other captains for fear of corrupting my loadouts.
Same here - cant change starship traits and many of them are gone. New starship traits dont appear on list. I`ve checked all my characters and this issue is everywhere.
I guess this is where I should post this. I have been having trouble with traits and loadouts not saving correctly for a long time.
Yesterday one of my characters switched ships and all of his personal space, space reputation, active space reputation and starship category traits were wiped from their slots.
Today on another character, I have a trait slotted that apparently decided to disappear from the trait list.
I'm scared to un-slot it for another trait because if it's vanished from the list, it may never let me slot it again.
Something is really super wrong with traits and loadouts not saving and loading correctly.
I am missing the Attack Pattern Delta Prime trait.
Have the same issue....Its gone from my trait list, used it a couple of weeks ago and today when i was doing a new build its just gone from my trait list..!!??
I am now missing Improved Critical Systems. It's become unslotted since the update, and it's not appearing in my list.
I logged on with my Temporal Recruit to check his device, and it's showing that I've claimed the trait. However, it doesn't appear in any of my characters' lists.

Same here. I sure hope they fix it within the next day or two. I use critical systems in combination with my T6 Arbiter mastery trait.
i keep having this issue have had this issue when ever they make new missions or come out with big updates or shut down for maintenance i come back to all my traits turned off and some i have from zen store and lock boxes are awal
I have reached level 5 Romulan Reputation; however, the trait quantum singularity manipulation does not show up in my space reputation trait list. I am level 3-4 on most of the other reputations, and all, including lower level Romulan traits, seem to be there--just not this one.
Scramble Fighters has broken again in this latest patch and is no longer available in the starship traits list. its equipped in my active traits but cant be unequipped and doesnt function at all.
