I think I'd like Bioware to take a shot at it. They're one of the best IMO when it comes to story. KoTOR, Sonic Chronicles, and Mass Effect being examples. Granted those games are RPGs, but still. I can see a Mass Effect style game set in Stargate.
Bioware is kind of overrated, and they are not really the same people that made Kotor (most left). And I really don't like the silly three option wheel cinematic people hype over. I like the traditional script options, that way it isn't dummified.
After SWTOR, it left a bad taste in my mouth.
Also... I think Bioware does a LOT better when they have a blank slate for their story.
I hated what they did to Darth Revan, and the Exile. Especially the latter as they never created her/him. I am grateful they didn't mention the companions, because they probably end up spoiling them as well.
Actually, there were appearances by several companions from the KotOR games. T3, for one, is blown up by the Emperor. Canderous (IIRC) helps recover Revan's mask. Not sure about the others.

you can use gamefront; that's where most of the filefront stuff ended up when the site imploded...only problem is, navigating that site to find anything is a royal pain, and no screenshots anymore, so you have absolutely no idea what you're downloading
A normie goes "Oh, what's this?"
An otaku goes "UwU, what's this?"
A furry goes "OwO, what's this?"
A werewolf goes "Awoo, what's this?"
"It's nothing personal, I just don't feel like I've gotten to know a person until I've sniffed their crotch." "We said 'no' to Mr. Curiosity. We're not home. Curiosity is not welcome, it is not to be invited in. Curiosity...is bad. It gets you in trouble, it gets you killed, and more importantly...it makes you poor!"
Passion and Serenity are one.
I gain power by understanding both.

files are still there, i play it every now and then. But haven't tried pegus yet.
Now, as the OP of this thread... now that the information about necroing has been passed on and the catfight is done... meh, I'd like to keep this thread going.

It's been done for awhile. But you get the odd one or two users that like to incite a flame war by continuing to shout "Necro!!!" all over the thread. In a sick way they get a thrill from it.
If anyone has Star Wars Empire at War: Gold. I suggest you try Stargate Pegasus Chronicles mod.

Definitely. EaW lends itself well to mods like these because of its unique galaxy-space-ground combination, even though the engine can't always keep up with the modders.
By the way, what's that GIF? I know for a fact it's not any known Stargate material, but... that looks like Goa'uld tech. Trailer for the new movie?
Meh, this is nothing. Trust me, I've seen a lot worse on this forum. These folks were just being sarcastic and silly. Not being a mean old nanny.
Have you tried the mods for EaW?
Pretty much this. The point of that part of my post wasn't to start a flame war or anything. It was to point out that the forum rules meant this thread was supposed to be abandoned (though the lack of enforcement on the side of the moderators after days of activity strikes me as odd). If there was some hidden agenda, then it was definitely a lot closer to 'be sarcastic and silly' than anything else. (In retrospect, I should have referenced a sarcophagus or that Ancient healing device... )

So far I'm quite enjoying the mod. I was pleasantly surprised that you can even play Apophis if you activate the super gate. He and Osiris are my favourite.

Do not show your face to me again, shol'va.
They have already started on the ground maps now, and getting closer to releasing it.

Despite this I've kept on topic.
