We don't need new ships to make the game better or make money. We do need ppl at CRIPTIC to wake up and see that they made a lot of ships obsolete when they added tier 6. My new Delta recruit didn't step foot behind a t5 or t5u. My suggestion to you is you give your artist a break for their job well done and have your programmers work on upgrade options for t5 to t6 ship to a command, intel ship. All upper lvl ships should have basic pilot maneuvers as well as fighters (come on!). I would gladly join any kind of think tank on how to make money on this game. I would gladly pay 2500 to 3000 zen to upgrade my Corvette and other t5 ships to t6. I have now played STO since before bata and would like to see STO be the game it SHOULD be by now. Do not turn a blind eye to your fans before you loose them to impossible odds lock boxes and unnecessary ships. I personally have never received a ship from one of them. Your "PILOT" ships are a joke and so are you in the gaming community. I have asked outside sources who say that what you claim as the only way stupid and full of *&#$. Only to get money out of ppl. Again WAKE UP and smell the *&#& you keep hashing out.
With each passing day I wonder if I stepped into an alternate reality. The Cubs win the world series. Donald Trump is President. Britain leaves the EU. STO gets a dedicated PvP season. Engineers are "out of control" in STO.
The Klingon ships look impressive and is a step up from the Command Ships in design, however I can't help but feel that the shuttle for the Argo was used as a base reference for the Federation pilot ships.

Yep, more T6 ships I won't buy. I'll wait for the Risa summer event to grind out a T6 Pilot ship.
Maybe if I wasn't so paranoid about whatever purchase I make being rendered obsolete in 6 months to a year, I'd be more willing to throw Cryptic a few bucks.
But hey, apparently there are enough players out there with poor impulse control (pun intended) who just can't resist getting the new shiny. So, thanks for supporting the game so I don't have to.

Good for you, I certainly wouldn't be parting with any money if it cost that much to just upgrade. I haven't spent any money in game since the T6 dropped, and by the look of where this IP is headed, nothing is going to change.
My wallet is still in stasis until a discount on the bundle comes around... Woo Hoo...

I'm a ship fanatic and really like gettin my hands on em :P, but recently my frustrations with the lag and other things have made me take a step back at the moment.
To be honest, I'm a little "saturated" with ships.
I mean, before D.R. I had to get em all, then get the fleet versions, THEN I upgraded them...
Not blaming you or anything. I know you gotta make money and all. I'm just not to keen in purchasing and upgrading ships that I most likely won't use as much anymore.
Especially if I have to dismiss a few If I wanna partake in the new pilot ships.
Too bad I can't reclaim fleet and upgraded ships.
Thinking twice about purchasing some of these bundles now.
Okay I haven't been a big supporter on ne thing delta, but hold the fracking brakes i love the new ship and plan on buying them for all my toons the 15, Its the only reason i log on ne more and ne one that bust on this is seriously raining on my parade. The pilot skill is the biggest attraction to me atm in the game.
And on that note i want to say thank you guys for giving a cool ship with a cool new skill that does make the game more fun. But yes u guys need to fix allot omg, but i wanted to say i like and will defend the hell out of ne of the pilot ship and skill issues.........The only thing in delta rising i agree on 100 percent and if you love fast pvp you will too. The only fun thing about delta rising is the pilot related fun rofl atm

Yes Its is unnerving but i think that issue lie in conngent or what ever that company name was. Like one poster said i am a ship collector of sorts, ( I own every ship in game maxed out with full power creep build's hehe) point is the pilot skill makes flanking better and more accurate to the definition of the word. With out the extra speed from pilot you wouldn't be technically flanking.
And I don't see how this ship is driving players away. Ship designs and implement isn't even in the same department as maintenance So how in the frack pilot skill or ships hurting the game?
All of you crying on this page saying we didn't need new ships are crazy. Allot of players own everything and we play to make new builds and new combo's not to fly one ship for 5 years wtf., Second how in the fracxk you cant say we didn't need pilot ships wtf they command cruisers and intell ship but no pilot? I know who is crying people that put all of there points in the intell and know have to fill pilot lmao pathetic see you guys in kerrat lmao
I'm in the same boast as you, while some of the command ships are ugly kitbashing the 3 you can get a nice looking ship, with these Raptors no amount of kitbashing will make them look good. It's a real shame as I love the pilot movements they released in yesterdays blog.
I guess I'll have to wait until they release a pilot ship that looks good for the KDF side. While I like the look of the Romulan one, and the Federation one (surprisingly coming from a non-Fed player) both my mains are KDF and I don't have time to level my Romulan up to take advantage of this and why should I spend 3-6K in Zen on a character I don't play when I could send that amount on a KDF and 2 characters could take advantage of that, even if just for the traits. Allow us to use some of the T5 or earlier Raptor costumes on these and I'll buy is asap. :P
Really? The Romulan pilot ships look like insects. If it had a different escort skin and an IRW prefix then I'd consider it.
It may seem silly to you, but I was thinking to myself, will the Romulan pilot ships have a T'Varo bird of prey skin? Will it have the IRW prefix?
I would definatly by a T6 Tvaro and B'rel with the piloting seats it's a shame they released the worthless pilot ships as those ships match the piloting skill to a T

Well now cryptic is gonna have problems selling the incoming t6 bop's t'varos and mogais as their stats will be EXTREEMLY INFERIOR to pilot ship stats (compleatly lower class of power in pvp or PVE wise) for the same prize...
Well wonder how they will buff the icoming iconic ships to be competetive and worth the zen they will demand (or balance out the pilot manuevers, and the turn rate/impulse mod stats on Pilot ships)
