On a side note, since the plot has the player accompanied by a task force for most of the space battles, I would like to include a handful of other people's characters, at least for the space battle portion. And since I'm trying to take a darker "The alliance isn't winning" tone, it would be really cool if I could kill some of them off
You can use Admiral Leo if you want. Just don't kill him off yet, he should be appearing in Death at Mol'Rihan any day now .

What rank is he? Also, what type of ship(s) is he flying?
Any rank you want between RA-LH and FA, as for ship, either the Typhoon or the Oddy (the one with the shuttlebay not the Aquarius).
Norway and Yeager dammit... I still want my Typhoon and Jupiter though. JJ Trek The Kelvin Timeline is just Trek and it's fully canon... get over it. But I still prefer TAR.

The player receives a special invitation to the Lohlunat Festival on Risa, along with a cryptic text message apparently sent by Franklin Drake. The trail leads to a weapon that, if it works, could instantly end the Iconian War - provided the Iconians don't find out about it first...
I have a question for those who've played Glimmer of Hope: ( I may open a new discussion for this as well)
I'd like to know if people have any questions about the Romulan Star Union (The mirror universe Romulan faction I created), that I might answer in my next mission. They will have a minor role but I should have an opportunity to put in some dialogue if asked.
Why do I still play and put money into STO?

I ran the mission but my memory sux, so I don't remember much detail. I can re-run it to see if something pops up.
I really love the idea of the Iconian War Anthology. My immersion (war scenario) is going to benefit a lot from this.
I wanted to ask if there is a list of all the missions, which are part of this "unofficial foundry challenge"? Something like The SBUGC List of Great Missions (2.0)?
I used the (ico) tag in the ingame search options but unfortunately some of the missions mentioned in this thread were missing.

I like the idea of this, and if Im still able, I'd like to help out. I have a few ideas that can be adapted to fit the Iconian War
It is better to keep hold of our ideals, then to lose who we are. If we are killed by our enemies, but we keep hold of the Prime Directive, we have not lost. We have won.
I'd settle for having Heralds and Harbingers as NPC contacts myself, so that they can be used in non-combat roles without having to use mobs (which would bump the minimum level up to 61, and have to be invisi-walled off from the player and other mobs to keep the Heralds from attacking them).
[Ico] Stars of wrath is up and available for feedback.
Several weeks have passed since the Heralds attacked Bajor, despite the fresh, battle hardened troops provided by the Romulan Star union, the war is still going extremely poorly.
Information gained from Delta Flight shows that the Iconians intend to destroy another star as they did Hobbus. In response the Alliance is gathering many of it's best ships and crews to prevent the weapons from being created.
Begins at the Toron System

"[Ico] Trouble In Paradise" is now published for playtesting! There's still some detailing work to be done (particularly on the second map where there are several mobs of "extras" yet to be reskinned) but functionally the mission is as good as I can make it without being able to playtest it live. So, have at it, everyone!
Sadly, "Trouble In Paradise" is now unavailable for the time being. I took it down to fix a bunch of issues I encountered during my first playtesting session, but have since had repeated publish failures when trying to get the mission back up.
So I had an epic Foundry session last night, and now I only have one map to go until I finally have my contribution to the Iconian war ready to go. Should be up tonight, I could use some help testing I'll post here when it is available.

I have now published my Iconoian War mission. Ready for testing and it be included in the list. (There's sure to be typos, as anyone who's been in StarbaseUGC char knows with me, but I found the vast majority of them. Still, always more, especially with as much optional dialogue I include.) Here's the data:
[Ico] Silent Gods
ST-HOI9279YH
The Iconian war rages through the Galaxy, but the state of the war in Dominion space remains a mystery. Travel to the Gamma Quadrant to rescue a ship gone missing while investigating a secret Dominion facility and learn the Founders' plan for the war and its aftermath.
Mission takes place between "House Pegh" and "Time in a Bottle."
Length will vary depending on how much of the optional dialogue (mostly from consoles) you read. And there are some optional fights, but you have to go out of your way to fight them.
Start by talking to Admiral Marconi on DS9, then through the Promenade's docking ring door right below him.

Failing that can we have the other nine Iconians?

Would your mission be better while fighting the Heralds of Iconian #1 ?
My character Tsin'xing
Here are the obligatory caveats:
- Subject to dialogue tweaks and additional detailing
- Map 2: Some mobs still need to be reskinned as vacationers (i.e. some of the extras on the beach chairs are still in their Starfleet unis)
- Map 5: Feedback on this battle would be particularly appreciated (Too hard? Too long?)
- Please do not leave review comments
- PM @NCC-89471 in game, or tweet NCC89471 (no hyphen), with any issues

I should be able to give that one a spin later tonight after Author's Outpost.

Anyway, [Ico] Under Grey Skies is in the review tab for testing. Fed, level 60.
Thanks in advance
And good work on the poster starfarer, it looks brilliant!
