I may not be much of a Foundry guy but I would really like to see a Siege of Something where the player is forced to take greater and greater risks by overwhelming odds. Sacrifice after sacrifice takes its toll on the final outcome of the Seige and we should also have these stories LINK with one another so as the Captian plays through the war he or she feels worse and worse like normal wars. One of the missions could be a mandatory psyche eval of the crew after an important mission by Starfleet Security/Medical or Romulan Intel etc.
Some of us should do Romulan Missions while others Klingons but make all factions feel included. This is an alliance after all.

I agree, there should be lots of emotion in it - something lacking from Cryptic's storylines often.
Fantastic work on those banners! I'd love to use one of those once I start getting missions uploaded.
Just got an idea for a new mission, and I'd love to get permission to use other people's characters in it.
I think it'll take place early on in STO's story, during the Klingon (or Romulan) arc, I think.
The player is offered a place in an event hosted at the Daystrom Institute; facility staff and/or interns and students have developed a series of new training simulations, both against simulated and real opponents. Safeties are in place against any real opponents, and the simulations are designed to be up to MA.C.O. standards.
Groups of Starfleet, the Federation and its allies' most promising officers are invited to participate, either against or allied with each other. The player will be able to use their full away team, as part of one of the initial groups for the event. However, things will not all go according to plan, as there is an Iconian spy at the Institute planning to wipe out a large chunk of Starfleet's most promising people in a carefully arranged "accident".
The officers present for the event will have to work together to deal with haywire, murderous holodeck simulations when things go wrong, but not everyone will be willing to work together after the first accident.
I'd love to get permission to use XR-377's character Amanda Barclay as one of the people involved on the simulation development/operations side, but I don't know where or how I could contact them about it.
P.S. thay8472, how'd you set up the tag in the title of your mission to not show, but still affect search results?
The black background does allow it to be overlaid onto images simply by making the black transparent, allowing it to effectively act as a watermark. Though it should be placed in a dark area as the whole thing becomes hard to see otherwise.
PS - Updated the banners to include the "A foundry community project" subtext.
Good news everyone! Thanks to my recent, uh, "removal of professional responsibilities," I had more than enough free time to create my entry into the Anthology.
[ICO] Catastrophe at Cait is being published at this moment!

I've been thinking about using some of the non-license-breaching-if-you-make-them characters from the game. If I get time I may post the settings to create costumes for such as:
- Admiral Quinn
- Jijo Surihara
- Capt. David Ford
- ESD CMO

I too would like to get Amanda Barclay.
johnnysnowball's already made and shared Adm. Quinn (along with Lt. VanZyl from Voyager).
Description: The R.R.W Panthera is transporting an Iconian artifact back to the Romulan Flotilla for study. But an Elachi jamming network is set directly in Panthera's path. An ambush is all but certain.
You must ensure the Panthera's safety by taking down this network and engaging any Elachi ships in the area.
I'm actually a little worried that this mission might be too short, though that may be because I know where everything is.

I just played through Catastrophe at Cait, so I thought I'd make a short review, though I'm not sure that this is the correct thread to post it in.
First off, this FELT like a battle, and I loved the sets. I would have liked to see some smoke effects from the damaged Starbase (Maybe stick a damaged ship inside it?), but I thought the city section was absolute BRILLIANCE! (Though I would have stuck the secretary's desk over to one side, instead of directly in front of the door, as it makes it kind of hard to get through the door.)
The Mikan were an interesting idea, as I had always thought that the Caitian Defense Force would be - less honorable warriors, more warrior-spies willing to pull any dirty trick they can in order to defend against an enemy that refuses to seek peace. Overall, though, I enjoyed Catastrophe at Cait greatly!

Thanks for the playthrough!
The Mikan are not of my creation. They come from some of the RPG books as part of Caitian backstory. If you want sneaky kitty warriors, go play my Honor Of series as a Klingon :P
Description: In the wake of the Herald invasion of New Romulus, the Iconian Resistance has begun tightening security along key strategic sites in both the Alpha and Beta Quadrants.
One such system is Vhoran Prime, a former Iconian colony home to an inactive Iconian gateway.
On the eve of a major breakthrough inside the gateway complex, extreme subspace activity in the system breaks all forms of communication with Doctor Grissom's research team and Intelligence fears the worst. You are enlisted to join the crew of the U.S.S. Umbra in order to infiltrate the system, locate the source of the disturbance, and secure the area by any means necessary.
Background Info: This past week I've been thinking of possible ways to work espionage into the Iconian War. The War shouldn't be all about the frontlines. We need some dirty work, similar to what you experience with the Romulan Intelligence officer in the DQ patrols.
The Vhoran system has been a plot point I've always wanted to address, and now is the perfect time to. Right now I'm focusing on writing the story, as the Vhoran space and ground maps are pretty generic enough to recreate, and the old Iconia map will serve as the Gateway complex. I've got a pretty good idea of the mechanics involved, and have already experimented on some features in my spare time. All I need is crew.
To establish some continuity in here, Sirboulevard has given me the blessing to use your Intel officer you meet in "Catastrophe on Cait". I would appreciate if anyone has any Intelligence officers to please let me know - I'm particularly looking for a intel lead that guides you during the mission.
What I hope to do is establish Convergence as an intro to a series that can be worked on by multiple authors if anyone is willing to do so.
This mission is a long way from completion. I've only finished the first map so far, but the others are work in progress and I'm pleased with how it's coming along so far.
Title: [Ico] Milky Way Author:@patchm142 Faction: FED and FED-ROM Level: 50+
Description: An Alliance force has discovered a Preserver installation deep in the Delta Quadrant, far from the front lines of the Herald War. After teaming up with the Enterprise, the player makes contact with the survey team in the Kendren System where Voth patrols are lurking uncomfortably close.
The Preserver installation has no info about the Iconians, but it does have some interesting tech explaining more about how the Preservers "guided" evolution throughout the galaxy. The meeting is cut short when Voth troops beam down and claim that the Preservers contradict Doctrine and must be removed. In the firefight that ensues, the Voth kill the science team and accidentally activate an ancient "Genetic Modification Probe", which is designed to travel from world to world and rewrite DNA into humanoid form. Voth and science team bumbling causes the probe to malfunction, lock onto the Jenolan Sphere, and head there with the intention of rewriting every humanoid life form in the galaxy into bacteria.
You and the Enterprise must stop this probe before it activates on inhabited worlds. This is going to include a mid-warp spacewalk on the Enterprise's hull, a firefight over several inhabited worlds, and a difficult choice.

And that's pretty much what I have so far. As soon as I'm further along I might post some screenshots on RogueEnterprise's "mission progress" thread. If anyone has feedback about the general outline of the story, I am always open

Best guess... there were two versions up at the time... one that displayed the Ico tag and the old one... either way. It now has the [Ico] tag...
so by all emans... go tear it to pieces.
