I do not understand the complaints about a cooldown timer on patrol missions--especially now that the patrol rewards have supposedly been level-set to their time commitment. There's got to be what, at least half a dozen such missions in most sectors? Minimum?
I'm not sure what the average playtime is for everyone, but if it takes you an average of four minutes to play through a patrol, by the time you finish going through all the patrols in a sector the cooldown on the first should be over. And if you really do burn through them that quickly, spend a few minutes doing upkeep on your doffs or something, or duck across the sector border and do some patrols in the next sector. Or replay a lucrative story mission. Or jump in a queue. Or something.
Point being, if patrol missions are what you enjoy (and I confess to greatly enjoying them for their own sake), it should be literally impossible--even with a 30-minute lockout timer--to be in a situation where there is no available patrol to run.
people with only 1 or 2 characters are SMACKED hard by the timers
patrols were NERFED hard in xp from 5400 to 1750 once xp weekend is over
I got my tree full it wont effect me...........Will I make a new alt...no way and I pity new players just starting
that's why some people are upset
Expect it to take you a year with a new level 50 to advance to level 60 and fill a spec tree now
Monday when the bonus xp weekend is over you will see the light
What upsets me the most is it will take months for a new player in the fleet to be able to play level 60 content with me.........This I really do not like

The problem is you'll run out of the most efficient patrol (there can be only one) and you should only be doing the most efficient thing.
To some people Argala was the *only* mission in the game because it gave the best rewards for the time spent.
And unfortunately, Cryptic built spec points around those people.
This is my Risian Corvette. There are many like it, but this one is mine.
No more grind, WTF are you smoking mate? Assuming you have xp bonuses, play on 2x xp weekends, and have the bonus from vet status (which isnt much)...by the time you reach level 57 content, you STILL Have to grind about 500 000 xp points to reach the final DR story content, or even reach level 60....the grind is still there in full force, they just made it harder and longer to reach the goal...i am not even talking about the grind to get equipment and other shinies.
