I do not know about but i do like the fed ships and Romulan but for the KDF some one has made a bat mix version of the Batttlecruser from Starcraft 2 and the StarGate Ha'tak ships ?!?!?
Why spend all this money on ships that are just going to be outdated and outclassed when you roll out T7s next year or T8s the year after that.
Seriously, give us the means to upgrade and improve ships that are T5 and below. (T5U isn't a great example either). There are a lot of things I love about this game, but one of its lamest aspects is how your captain treats starships as disposable as used cars in America, trading in for the newer model every couple months (or days if you're not max level yet). What's the point of even having any ships between T1 and T6?
Well, the Intrepid would indicate that's not the direction Cryptic wants to go. Ship upgrading and customization would be an awesome move from a player standpoint.
But I stick mostly to my Galaxy and Nebula. Though my Guardian is growing on me. At this point, it's mainly about the ship traits that make my existing favorites better. Assuming I have the dilithium to manage it.
Glad to see there is some in-game faction related ships being released for the 5th STO anniversary:), rather than yet, another, alien ship to fly.:(
That said, it would still have been better if the free ship give away was faction specific (for the 3 factions in game) than one alien ship. In my opinion, last year's anniversary event for the 4th year, felt more like a 5th year, than this one, due to ship release.
Regardless, it would be nice to sometime get a tier 6 science ship for the Klingons, and Romulans. Hopefully, before the 1 year mark since release of the tier 6 class in STO. I was actually hoping it would have come at the beginning of the Delta Expansion, but yeah, here's for the science class being over looked, once again, for the Klingons, and Romulans.
Shouldn't the FED cruisers' shield mod be rather 1.155, AKA a fleet version of 1.05?
And at level 50, shouldn't the FED and ROM ships' hull be 47,826 rather than 47,437? The KDF ones' then 49,739? Then they'd get 15% more for the level 60 value.
Hrmmm...
47437/55000 & 1.115
49335/57200 & 1.1
47437/55000 & 1.1
If 60's a base of 40k, then it would be a 1.375 hull mod for the Fed/Rom boats and a 1.43 hull mod for the KDF boats.
47437 / 1.375 = 34499.6
49335 / 1.43 = 34500
So the FT6 50 base is 34500 for these boats, eh? Hrmm, same for the Samsar. Also the Sarr Theln. Benthan as well.
Comparing it a non-Fleet T6 boat...aha, there's the expected 33000.
T6 have a 50 base of 33000 vs. a FT6 50 base of 34500, yet they both end up at the same 40k base in the end. Trippy...
That 1.115 has to be a fatfingered one and a 1.15 instead...heh.
These were from the warbird page and I didn't check the KDF/Fed layouts yet. How are the science and Tactical focused on science and tactical when you have a large engineering focus on seating? Seems odd to me but oh well.

The ships are still what they are, so they're going to be Cmdr Eng. The focus is on the other BOFF stations.
LCdr Tac for Tac.
LCdr Eng for Eng.
LCdr Sci for Sci.
They could release 3 pack contain - escort, science and battle cruiser, this would make the few left romulans and klingons happy. Why we need so much battle cruisers, i really don't understand their logic
Plus I have way more battle cruisers than I need and then most of those are gimmicks on top of that. If bops were given some love especially T6 versions I might be interested in coming back to sto but nah not this they just remind me too much of the bortasqu' which is still a failure of a design.

Aha, thanks for uncovering another inconsistency.
Oh, and I was mistaken, the 15% jump is from (F)T5 to (F)T5-U at level 50. Between (F)T5-U at 50 and 60, it ends up being somewhere around 15,9%. That already fits with the advertised hulls (when you start rounding somewhere.)
TOIVA, Toi Vaxx, Toia Vix, Toveg, T'vritha, To Vrax: Bring in the Allegiance class. Toi'Va, Ti'vath, Toivia, Ty'Vris, Tia Vex, Toi'Virth: Add Tier 6 KDF Carrier and Raider. Tae'Va, T'Vaya, To'Var, Tevra, T'Vira, To'Vrak: Give us Asylums for Romulans.
I rather like the Fed and even the Romulan designs, though I'm not sure what's gone wrong with the KDF design department. The front of the An'Quat class looks like somebody just gave up and stuck a big triangle to the front of it.
Well, they are fleet. Glad to be right about that. The possibility of getting them still lives.
Where do you see that? As far as I was aware there still hasn't been a conclusion on whether or not there will be fleet versions of T6 ships. I couldn't see any reference to fleet ships in those blogs.
Join date is wrong, I've actually been around since STO Beta.
True alters don't have a "main". Account wide unlocks for all unique event rewards!!
All these ships are way to focussed on engineering to be interesting for me.
Still kind of my stance as well, though the tactical variants actually look really nice. 4 Tac consoles, both a Lieutenant Commander Tactical BOff slot, and potentially another Lieutenant Tactical BOff slot if you use the Universal station for that....
My biggest problem is still that the Command abilities, and Inspiration mechanic, seem far too gimmicky to be of practical value. It's kind of like how one can bring a tanky cruiser or science heal/debuff boat into current STFs, and still technically be aiding their team, but the whole run could still probably have been completed faster, and easier, if they had brought another pure dps ship instead.
I feel like the Command ships have the same problem. They might be kind of nice to have around in an STF, but not only are they not necessary, they don't really bring anything that justifies giving up some of the dps of a straight dps ship.
"There will never be enough blood to wash away my need for vengeance! A single world...I could destroy a million worlds and it would not be enough! Your existence is an insult to the memory of my people! I will continue my fight, even if I must fight alone!"
All these ships are way to focussed on engineering to be interesting for me.
I had been thinking of getting the Romulan 3 pack, however, having seen the Science centric cruiser only runs a Lt Cmdr Sci, I'm gonna hold off I think...
Cmdr Sci station and a Lt Cmdr Engy instead, I'd have been sold...
Where do you see that? As far as I was aware there still hasn't been a conclusion on whether or not there will be fleet versions of T6 ships. I couldn't see any reference to fleet ships in those blogs.
These command cruisers have 1 more console slot, 10% more shields (the FED ones may have a typo there, I guess it should read 1.155 shield mod for them - sometimes shortened to 1.15) and roughly 10% more hull than normal Tier 6 ships. Thus they are fleet level.
TOIVA, Toi Vaxx, Toia Vix, Toveg, T'vritha, To Vrax: Bring in the Allegiance class. Toi'Va, Ti'vath, Toivia, Ty'Vris, Tia Vex, Toi'Virth: Add Tier 6 KDF Carrier and Raider. Tae'Va, T'Vaya, To'Var, Tevra, T'Vira, To'Vrak: Give us Asylums for Romulans.
Hmm... a Klinzhai with the Ty'gokor's nacelles could be look okay. Ka;ragh may just shelve his FT5-U Kamarag for a while for that, and not just for the trait...
And oh my. The Deihu... oh... so sexy... just looking at it makes me transfer command to my battle bridge, if you'll pardon the command parlance. If it wasn't a cruiser I'd move my main to it. Hell, I still might...
Those Fed ships are all pretty. Not gorgeous, not prize-winners, but perfectly serviceable. I'll definitely be kitbashing me a nice one from that.
LMAO!!! Now there's one epic example of copy-paste if I ever saw one. :P
No No, their copy past is def broken, the romulan battlecruisers are they are infact listed as, still don't get the 2 cruiser abilities that the kdf and fed get,
Heres a simple hint, the singularity powers are subjective at best, please give us the 2 battlecruiser powers the other 2 factions get, and you will have a sale from me eitherwise....that's 60 dollars less due to a power that we romulans have that isn't all that usefull as a toggle power that the feds and kdf have....
btw fed and kdf ships have a much easier way of pumping up power levels then rom ships too due to our SINGULARITY powers....
all in all, I love the design, just wish us romulans would stop taking hits in the copy paste due to singularity cores...
These ships look cool. Not cool enough for 12,000 RD, but cool.
I would love to see the R.R.W. Lleiset turned into a Deihu or Vastam class warbird. Never felt right about it being a Scimitar. And one of the Fed ships could replace the Typhoon model.
"Critics who say that the optimistic utopia Star Trek depicted is now outmoded forget the cultural context that gave birth to it: Star Trek was not a manifestation of optimism when optimism was easy. Star Trek declared a hope for a future that nobody stuck in the present could believe in. For all our struggles today, we haven’t outgrown the need for stories like Star Trek. We need tales of optimism, of heroes, of courage and goodness now as much as we’ve ever needed them." -Thomas Marrone
All Hands On Deck trait.....great for more tactical oriented science ships like a Vesta class! You'll already be running with tac abilities anyway, now using them will lower your science abilities now as well.
I'll be considering getting that Fed tac ship just to slot the trait on my tac Pathfinder. Does a pretty good job already (i have the Reciprocity and Battle Ready traits slotted) but with the added ability to lower science CD's that'll make it even more deadly.
One thing that's now more clear is that the KDF designs aren't as bulky as they looked.
Taking the Ty'gokor nacelles with either Klinzhai or Ty'gokor main hull and neck, you may get something watchable. However I still haven't seen a flattering shot of any of the "heads" available, sadly. There's currently the main problem with the KDF versions.
TOIVA, Toi Vaxx, Toia Vix, Toveg, T'vritha, To Vrax: Bring in the Allegiance class. Toi'Va, Ti'vath, Toivia, Ty'Vris, Tia Vex, Toi'Virth: Add Tier 6 KDF Carrier and Raider. Tae'Va, T'Vaya, To'Var, Tevra, T'Vira, To'Vrak: Give us Asylums for Romulans.
Hmm, ugly and not particular interesting either. Only thing I see of particular interest is the All Hands On Deck trait that looks Reciprocity-level powerful for people flying partigen or sci-torp boats.
well looking at the stats they are still gimping us, shield mod is lower than fed versions and crew size is double the amount .
standard cloaking device. which is still costing us a bridge officer power giving us 10 instead of fed 11 and standard cloak sucks pve and PvP so might as well remove it altogether
and a ever so slightly better hull rating over the feds but not enough to make up for the crew heal gimp of the larger crew.
all in all feddy bears should love the deal , as for me not so much...... for the life of me i can not figure out why they refuse to make and sell us what we want and need instead of the same ole TRIBBLE.
Trophies for killing FEDS ahh those were the days.
The Concorde, Anquat and Baratan class Command ships come equipped with the Fleet Support Platform. While the Fleet Support Platform console is equipped, your starship can launch a mobile shield repair platform that will follow your starship for a while. Allies within 3km of the Fleet Support Platform will have their shields repaired and hardened. This console also provides a passive boost to maximum hull hit points.
Console Universal Defense Platform
The Presidio, Anquat and Vastam class Command ships come come equipped with a Defense Platform. While the Defense Platform console is equipped, your starship can launch a formidable weapons platform. This platform will be deployed at your current position and will fire beam arrays at nearby enemies.
Additionally, it will deploy a large number of mines in the vicinity. Once these mines are detonated, they will be replaced after a short time. Equipping this console also provides a moderate boost to projectile damage.
Just wondering who proof reads these blogs before they are put out bcuz they did a terrible job again.
besides that these look interesting and will look forward to seeing these ships in action in game

But the Presidio. Oh man. Looks gorgeous, command abilities are not game breaking in PvP, ship is not overpowered yet crazy good, desiderable stats.
Me wants.

You killed PvP and most of the PvE queues and now you want to buff player co-op synergies ?
rofl, you're jackin' me right ?
Awoken Dead
Now shaddup about the queues, it's a BUG

"Uh, nothing." I reply.
"You have spaceships on screen again." She says matter-of-factly. "How much this time?"
"Less than a round of golf and lunch." I say with a smile.
