First dstahl adds as much greedy gouge the player content as he can. Then you add as much game breaking bug infested, pvp destroying garbage as YOU can. Where are the apologies to the players from Cryptic devs and producers for completely destroying STO?
Cryptic doesn't owe any player any apology. Just because you want an apology doesn't mean you'll get one.

Patch Notes : Resolved an Issue, where people would accidently experience Fun.
pvp is worth development time because by just existing at all, it puts a major incentive on spending money to buy the best ships, buying the most keys, loging in and spending the most time grinding, getting the best gear, upgrading everything to gold mk14, just the best reason of all to make a totally done character. nothing in pve can incentive putting that much effort into developing a character, and it seems crytic is hell bent on making players stay loged in as much as possible, dragging out all these grinds to the extent that they have.
its the only content in the game that truly requires maxed out characters, skill maters too but you need the gear foundation or you cant compete. every pvp match is content that creates itself, each match is different. of ANYTHING they could do, with pvp they would get the most return out of the least development time put in. not only that, it infinitely renews itself, no mater how much time and effort is put into a pve episode, its only fresh a single play through.
if the team put .1/10th of their dev time into pvp, they could get more out of it then a year's worth of episodes.
Oh lordy...Sector Space is changing... People are gonna "Get Lost" for sure now!!!

It would have to be Alpha, Beta, and Delta - we've only been to a tiny part of Gamma Quadrant, to go find that stupid Ferengi hiding out in the asteroid and then be introduced to Eraun (and either make him happy by eliminating her, or make him testy by letting her escape, but the mission proceeds either way).
On the other tentacle, perhaps this means Delta gets bigger? It's only two sector blocks currently - even the Roms own more space.
Hmmm...D'Angelo has left...well, good luck to the new guy. He says he's been active with patch notes, etc, and posting them on the forum. Does this mean he's crypticfrost, coldsnapped, or none of the above?

umm, only the cardi sectors and new gamma blocks aren't in the beta quadrant. the sector block earth is in is even in beta. its the alpha that lacks any development.
I also find it a bit disconcerting that the staff at Cryptic and PWE feels obligated to pass a Star Trek fan litmus test whenever they introduce themselves.
Is there a sector map to look at in that one mission?
Captain Jean-Luc Picard: "We think we've come so far. Torture of heretics, burning of witches, it's all ancient history. Then - before you can blink an eye - suddenly it threatens to start all over again."
"With the first link, the chain is forged. The first speech censured, the first thought forbidden, the first freedom denied, chains us all irrevocably."
Overall, with the sentiment on the forums i don't envy anyone in charge at cryptic.
This program, though reasonably normal at times, seems to have a strong affinity to classes belonging to the Cat 2.0 program. Questerius 2.7 will break down on occasion, resulting in garbage and nonsense messages whenever it occurs. Usually a hard reboot or pulling the plug solves the problem when that happens.

Gamma Orionis is in the Beta quadrant, look at the ingame map, top left cornor has a Galaxy map.

Beta Quadrant has barely been touched.
:D:D
none of these galaxy maps are at all accurate. there no point quoting from any of them.
Been around since Dec 2010 on STO and bought LTS in Apr 2013 for STO.

we take the worm hole to Gamma for that quest...
It's not a trend I'm very fond of.
I'll wait til we get more detail on the sectors thing before weighing in on how I "feel" about it.
Removing the sector walls sounds great in concept.
But if we lose a pile more content (patrols, systems, etc) to make it happen - I think that'd be bad.
Hopefully it's a well executed change.
Congratulations and good luck.

If it is, I welcome more tailor options.
